Hmmm, I don[t know why anyone wouldn't like it. I've had one a year and a half or so. My old capo which was nearly brand new, sits in a corner gathering dust. The G7th is great; easy to use; holds its grip; has never once slipped. I'd have to dig pretty deep to find anything I'd replace it with.
Nah, I was just still working out how to do video reviews at this time haha I don't really care all that much about the time, just that I get everything that I want to say out.
it's not easy to get it work consistent;y. I get buzzing more often than not. I've been on stage and get buzzing, which is a major drag, on both my Martin and my Suhr Tele. I give it only 2 stars. I would not recommend it
The only place I have had to do this is on the first fret, but most capos struggle with that. Anything that doesn't have variable tightness will generally buzz for me.

Thanks mate! Tommy G7th
Totally! I will generally swap out capos even when playing someone else’s guitar.
Thanks for the video and for using our capos 😊
Sure thing!!
Don’t worry about using capos for key changes. I LOVE how guitars sound with capos. I’d use one regardless.
Haha I do too, I'm just doing my best to better myself as a guitarist overall!
Thank you for this thoughtful and thorough review!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the video :) glad you like it! We appreciate the review 😊 Tommy G7th
Sure thing!! Just had someone ask me yesterday (while playing an Easter service), if I like my G7th, and still had the same answer as here. Yes!
Great video thanks for the info.
Glad I could be of help!
The Performance 3 can be used with any fingerboard radius…..that’s the main difference to the performance 2.
Gotcha! Thanks for the input!
So it never comes loose with vibration or lose pressure over time??
Not from my experience! As long as you press it down enough, I've never had it slip or lose pressure.
It's good advice despite the excessive repetitions. It is to fill up the time I assume.

@@Gear_43 Good on you.
Amen bro I am the utility musician in my church worship group, in our case it's all D or G .
Haha yep... that is about right!
Can this capo hang on to partial strings?
I don't believe its designed for that no!

Very interesting! That hasn't been the case for me.
Not my favourite, poor fit for my 1.9 in neck. Also fell apart quite soon, although warrantee is excellent. Replacement supplied promptly
Glad to hear it worked out on the warranty side! Sorry to hear its not a great fit for you.
I have used best capo is the Shubb S2 and this G7th Art👍🏻
In 40 years I haven't used a better capo than the G7th to be honest....but yeah....
Not nearly as good as the Shubb. The G7 slips about, hit and miss adjustable and I don't like it at all.
i have the same problem with mine, i have to squeeze it hard all the time or i get buzzing,
Interesting, I haven't run into this being an issue!

I would really enjoy getting to try out a Shubb, let me see what I can do!
