And although he didn't like enough the third movie he still found it satisfying enough. As for me I totally agree. The first one was OK. feels like a knockoff dr who movie focused on the "silence" as they look like a bad knockoff of the dr who villain. i tried watching slender but ended up playing Stalker as i wanted to do something that actually had talent or plot and was actually scary.
At least, the Ring has a good ambience and scary moments even if this movie is slow. There's no dumb or boring characters and cool music! It's not perfect but between the 2, the Ring is far more spooky and have more efforts in it then this abomination.
Actually there's a better slenderman movie. One that delivers something far more interesting with the mythology than this pile of shit with it being based on the classic Marble Hornets web series. It doesn't have generic characters with some actually being relatable. A backstory prior to the events here which is very interesting. It doesn't have the stupid watching a youtube video thing instead it only being able to be seen with a camera with it stalking you after you've seen it and he's marked you with his symbol on your body Also one cool rule is that once you summon the slenderman he can stalk all others that are close to you like family and then when the time comes he takes control of you and forces you to kill them and then yourself but if the ones close to you kill you before or during that, their marks will go away and they'll be safe. Now another thing is how once he starts chasing you he'll never stop and will always end up where you are and if you just ignore him then he will start to hurt or killones around you. Now the reason I think he doesn't do this instead of possessing the one that saw him is probably because of a sick enjoyment he has in seeing it.

When I was in high school, the Slenderman was at the height of its popularity, so for an English project me and some friends decided to make a short Slenderman film. It was silly and very poorly made (as high school films usually are), but at least I am proud to say it was more interesting than anything this big studio movie had to offer
Fun fact: Slender-Man(2018) was originally distributed by Netflix, but they were too embarrassed from the final product, so Sony was able to get the rights after the constant rewrites, and reshoots. Ironic, because Netflix approved of Cuties; a movie that should stay controversial, and it was removed from the platform 4 years too late. Overall, Slender-Man(2018) is just The Ring(both the 1998 original, and 2002 American remake) but worse. If Slender-Man garners a rebirth in popularity thanks to analog horror and internet nostalgia, someone on the internet or even Mike Flanagan would make an adaption of the character that's outright better than this movie altogether.
