an important tip with aegislash is that he "sticks" to opponent pokemon with his shield forme auto attacks, so they can't escape while you're waiting for your cooldowns, even if they're on x-speed. Also if you're trying to escape in shield forme head straight to a wild pokemon and press B to do a dash to it, then use sacred sword to do a second dash and run away in sword forme
Thank you for your Aegislash vids. I'm trying to learn him and it's tricky. The hardest part for me right now is managing my early game (pre-level 7) & team fights (especailly Ray). Sometimes it's to find the right time to engage a team fight and not end up in the middle of everyone's attacks and just get blown up, lol. The freeze frame Ray fight was really good editing. Thanks again!
Finally a good aegislash guide. It's my main and I've seen a lot of people wasting their wide guard to get some boosted while at mid fight just to die immediately lmao, good video
i just wanna say that no matter how good u are (im aegis master) a 1v1 at full hp, same level against ttar u are not winning if it is ancient power and d pulse. that aside. GREAT GUIDE!!! im watching every good aegis guide to see if i can improve even further, and even tho once u get the flow is pretty straight forward. theres still some honing about reflexes and desicion making to master.
Aegislash's build really does depends on your moveset because I use razor claw, scope lens, and focus band and I mostly use shadow claw with wide guard I use the two of them because for stunning purposes plus the crit rate is very big and crit dmg
I never knew that you stored your Boosteds on Aegi, that is very good to know. Great video, thanks. You should describe the other movset too btw, would've been nice
1:27 First time ill have to disagree, Yes, this is a Team Game. DO NOT TRUST YOUR TEAMMATES. I do not recommend doing that. You will understand why one day if you don't now.
Look, it's rough. I think you need to trust. Unless if they're actively throwing the game away, you should work with them. If they get value, generally they'll help you (especially if you helped them) Edit: I have played ~5000 games. I've played solo, duo, competitively. I've tried the never trust framework. I think for the growth of the game, silent trust is important
@@yaboidragonitehere1137 I've seen a lot of these scenarios where Buzzwole Leech Life's an enemy but the move gets cancelled midway not only when Buzzwole gets knocked up/pushed, but also when the enemy you grabbed gets knocked up/pushed by YOUR TEAMMATES. Like how's is this even allowed? I guess the devs designed Buzzwole to displace one of the enemies from the team fight.

Pinned, great comment 🙌
Only the boosted shield form auto attacks provide sure hit, don't they?
@@AlainS9570 that's correct
Love the freezeframes and macro discussions! Soooo useful!
Thanks bro. It is effortful but I think it's really important if we do it to improve

Thanks mate! Aegislash is now in the meta again (wooo). This combo still wins
Man u put so much effort in your videos they're so useful. My winrate increased after watching your videos

Haha followed by 'This is why Aegislash kinda sucks'
This guide was very informative thank you 🙏
Thanks bro I hope it helps!

This is a build I'm seeing more of and it's growing on me!!

Thanks! I think the other moveset is a bit meh. I can do though!
thanks man had no idea how aegislash worked before this video
Glad I could help!
IF YOU DONT MIND TRY JUNGLE AEGI FULL CRIT , BUILD : SCOPE , RAZOR , ATTACK WEIGHT/MUSCLE , SACRED SWORD , WIDE GUARD
I love this build too!
@@UniteClimbing PLS MAKE A VIDEO ON IT I BEG U
@@vincent23910 I'll do that build for sure
This was definitely helpful. Thank you.
You're welcome!
The fact that you can 1v1 charizard even if it unites. Weakness policy and attack weight works so well with aegislash
Aegislash is so awesome like this!!
Charizard was also badly nerfed and struggles in current meta.
I used to thought shield form is weak cus the damage from the sword form .This video prove me wrong
It's deciding when you want to be squishy and dish out massive damage, or be slower but way bulkier!! Timing is everything!
Don't you think shadow claw is better since you get inflict more cc and it has crit?
Nah. It's not bad, but Sacred Sword and WideGuard is much smoother
Nice 👍🏼
Thanks 👍
thanks to this combo, i managed to win a 1v3 by myself :D
He is the only pokemon that actually can do this though!
Is that me? (the Greninja)
If you're in Australia or NZ, maybe??
@@UniteClimbing It is me haha :P ggs
@@xKillipso Def some familiar faces in here for sure.

This guy will single handedly raise PU skill cap
That is my goal 🙌
Hate to be that guy but Aegi is kinda mid rn, especially after the nerfs to his ult. Urshifu and Scyther are way better
You're 100% right. Scyther/Scizor are kinda broken but the nerfs are coming.
And Buzzwole is a solid mon but Tyranitar just is a better Buzzwole rn, Honestly Buzz needs unstoppable and mobility and it's gonna be ok
