Jerry Cantrell is looking like a Viking king these days. There is something almost transcendent about him when playing guitar. Sean and Mike still one of the tightest rhythm sections in the business. William's vocals on point and mesh really well with Jerry's... really feeling the love for Alice these days!
All okay, maybe tired? They song great / play great but no smiles or much interaction between members. Is that how it usually is when you see them live?
They’re Alice In Chains. They don’t smile. Listen to their lyrics. But they are overall all great dudes. They were super nice when we did the meet and greet before the show.
From what I've heard we might be getting another solo album from Jerry before an AIC album. Obviously can't confirm but it's what I have heard and read
Alice In Chains two post Layne albums; The Devil put Dinosaurs Here and Rainer Fog. Along with Cantrell’s solo albums; Boggy Depot, Degredation Trip, Brighten and I Want Blood. So much music from all these albums. Would love to hear more songs from those albums performed live. Jerry just continues to create incredible hooks and amazing music!!!!!
From a guitar standpoint they kinda are, but to be jerry’s age and still get them to sound even BETTER than the record sometimes, it’s admirable. AiC forever🤘🤘🤘

That's because you want him to sound like Layne. Just appreciate him for what he is, a great singer. The real problem is that Jerry doesn't use him enough in the new songs. Clearly Layne is irreplaceable but the reason why people can't get into Duvall is because Jerry doesn't let him shine in the _new_ songs. The songs where William actually sings the lead vocals, like Last of My Kind, are very rare, but he sounds phenomenal when he isn't relegates to Jerry's harmonizer

Layne the drug addicted singer is dead like the others who refuse to get help. Sure his voice was just right for AIC but he’s gone, now we have a singer who’s lying it down for us. You don’t have to like it but you can get your ass up there and give it a go. Respect your band support the local recovery programs for addicts and stop bitching enjoy this moment with AIC!
My first time seeing and hearing them with their new singer (I would only listen if it was Layne). I know, I know…. This man did a good job and I think he is also talented. It’s hard to replicate Man in the Box. Layne had perfect voice for that!! It still broke my heart though to not see Layne out there. 💔
