8:00 The VBB is not the company that runs the S-Bahn The S-Bahn is operated by the S-Bahn Berlin which is part of the DB or Deutsche Bahn which also runs some of the RE, RBand EC and all of the ICE, IC trains. The VBB is the Transport association, which is responsible for the same ticket and fare system on BVG [Bus, Tram, U-Bahn, Ferry]and DB [S-Bahn, RE, RB](and ViP [Transport in Potsdam], NEB, ODEG, HavelBus, Frankfurt O., ... )
wait so if i buy a multi day ticket i only need to validate it once? as in the first time i use it and thats it? (and i only need to validate it when i get on?)
Hello! Is it wise and cheaper to purchase the 24hr small group pass if we are a group of 7 staying only for 2-3 days in Berlin zone AB? Thanks for answering!
Hi i will visit germany and exploring d tic. You can buy it only when you have german bank iban. This is not a tourist card. This is a card whom temporarily settlers like student or worker use.
Thanks. This was helpful. Do the ticket vending machines in Berlin accept credit cards or only debit cards? If they do not accept credit cards, what about the manned ticket counters?
No, you do not typically need to carry your passport if you buy and validate your Berlin public transportation ticket through the BVG app. However, you are required to carry a valid form of identification to confirm your identity if requested by ticket inspectors. For most travelers, a driver’s license, national ID card, or other government-issued photo ID is sufficient. If you are a tourist and do not have another form of ID, your passport may be required for this purpose. It’s always a good idea to have some form of ID with you when traveling.
Hello! I'll spent 7 days in Berlin, only in zone A and B. I'll be with my wife and 2 kids of 8 and 12 y. Probably using like 2 or 3 rides a day. What is the best ticket combination in this case? Any suggestions? Thank s

That’s correct.
@@experienceberlin8476okay thank you!!
if you purchase a 24hr ticket does it need only 1 validation? and for Db train if I purchased it online does it need validation as well?
Yes, one validation for the 24 hour ticket. DB train tickets will be checked by conductors.
With VBB monthly ticket, I can travel (Sbahn, ubahn, tram, bus)?

They a. Pet most credit cards, but not all international cards. You should be able to pay with PayPal through the apps.

Two 7 day passes. Your kids will ride for free.
