This helped a lot I took mine and they wanted to charge $583 for the purge valve and spark plugs there crazy I just gotta by the parts and my dad could do it for less then 100$

Changed MAF and upstream 02 sensor to stop it running rich, had the no start after refill symptoms and was still running rich. Last week I took the car to a full serve gas station and I believe the attendant topped it off. This must be my problem. Thanks for the tutorial.
Yes it did. You need to disconnect the one end of the purge valve and see if it is sucking when the engine is running. If it is, then replace it. You should be able to find a tutorial on RUclips
So my car was purchased used and I am having this exact issue so I purchased the parts after I got my cold read and my clips are broken off those little locking clips what do I do now turn

My friend is having an issue with her sonic like yours but gets a code for MAF sensor and rich code. Did replacing the purge valve solve the problem?
Yes it did. You need to disconnect the one end of the purge valve and see if it is sucking when the engine is running. If it is, then replace it. You should be able to find a tutorial on RUclips
