Watching from St. John's, Newfoundland Canada. been driving Toyotas a long time. Over the years , I've owned four 4Runners (87,90,93,05), two Corollas (87,97), a 2005 Matrix and currently a 2009 Venza ,which I love!!

Michigan. I just purchased two weeks ago. My only issue is that the back up camera no longer beeps when getting to close to something.
I need more information for this. I need activate something or not?
Watching from Wake Forest, NC. 3 things I think they can improve with the highlander for how nice but also how expensive they are:
1. Put the rear wiper up in the spoiler casing like the 4runner
2. Those cloth/softex seat combo should have option for all cloth or all softex, I would want all or nothing on a surface like that
3. Power folding 3rd row...Ford has been doing it for years. They did it on Expeditions from like 2005...

Thanks for the great review Jeff. I own a 2019 Highlander SE in the same color. My biggest complaint is the lack of low end torque. The engine seems to hang in high gears and it really takes a pedal to the ground to get the thing moving. Can you please comment on the low end torque/acceleration in comparison to the previous gen?
When they put 8 speed and 10 speed transmissions in these new vehicle, for better gas mileage, it drops the rpms. My ram truck 8 speed with 400 HP has no power at cruising speed. Rpms stay around 1,800 .

From Fort Worth, TX. I was checking a 2018 back then and an AWD Highlander cost over $45,000 without leather power seat, and the dealer refused to take out the back seat for me. So I bought an Acura instead.

I am watching from Brainerd, MN. Love your videos very informative and fun to watch. I love the look of these new Highlander's in the XSE package. I think this new body style really looks nice on these. Would love to have one of these but just to much money and way out of my price range. I wish this came in a hybrid like my XSE Rav4. Do you know does this come in other colors besides the magnetic grey color. It will be interesting to see what the red seats will look like. I saw a video posted of this XSE model at a auto show and it had the red seats in it. It was really different. It looked nice I thought but feel I would get tired of it real quickly. Next what they need to do is make the Highlander into a TRD model. DO you think that will ever happen since Toyota is doing this with a lot of their vehicles.

Love the look of the XSE but, I can't believe they don't have an all black/all leather seat option and no memory seating. I was ready to go trade in my current vehicle when I saw this but, I guess I will have to wait for future upgrades.
They now do, I just bought one and it has all black interior with wind chill pearl white exterior

Not much ground clearance. The vehicle does look sharp. Thanks for the work you put into your videos. Lots of edit ad well as insert msgs.

Love the extra space but just can’t get over them removing the ability to open the rear glass. I just got back from a 1400 mile road trip and opening just the rear glass was used multiple times a day.

I bought a 2021 Toyota Highlander but the problem I am having is that it turns off every hour. I would like to know if through the application it can be deconfigured so that it does not turn off every hour. I was at the Toyota mechanic service and They don't know how to deactivate it and the only thing they told me is that the car comes like this from the factory. I would like to know if there is any way to deactivate it through the phone application, please answer me since that question is important to be able to solve the problem. Thank you.
