Hi, If you dont mind answering why you feel 2021 ones are the best model out there. Which trims have you driven so far, and which one is your favorite.
I have like all model years of the Highlander , I have owned. No problems with any of them The 21 just has more gizmos and updated electronics. I bought the one with the large screen that gives you the birds eye view around the car. You can’t go wrong with any year or model. For the money, the XLE is the Best Buy which gives you leather and sunroof. The Limited is the one I usually buy because of a few extra features but it may not be worth the $4000 more price tag to some. If you don’t need leather or sunroof, buy the LE
thanks jeff for the review. i just bought 2021 xle FWD. so excited i cant wait to drive to canada. i dont really know why am going there but just for the fun of driving the highlander
I just bought a 2021 highlander actually and I love it, Thank you for giving us the ins and outs of what it is and how it works. Thank you. RET.SRA USAF

@@lovepeace1552 Perfect! Great ride, comfortable seats. 26mpg. Not easy on gas as a 4 cylinder but plenty of power in the V6. It's a much larger car than what I thought it would be. Sooo much room! The driver assist features are pretty awesome.
I was hoping for more in-depth description of air conditioner controls. But must say the 21 Highlander is the best driving and most comfortable car I've ever owned.
Hello, How is the back up camera quality in your opinion? Compared to other suv's in similar trim? Recently test drove one and felt that the bac up quality was subpar for this type of vehicle.. Seemed grainy and fuzzy to me

Hey Jeff hope you answer I just got a 2021 xle hybrid highlander how is it driving on the mountains and snow Cuz it has a button for trial But my husband and I love the mountains?
I’ve seen some XLE models with the ventilated seats. I’ve seen some without. Really sucks trying to find one with every feature you want. I guess that’s why they have the limited model😂
I suggest Toyota brings the trim options down to 3. Maybe a special edition, as well. Its just too much. Offering options instead of big trim changes and more standard on trims. L should have heated seats. LE most of the stuff on XKE, etc.
Never put anything down if you’re financing might as well save for the whole at that point . I just wait 3-4 normal payments then if you’re allowed for early pay off . Dump your money there .
I currently have the 2018 Highlander XLE Hybrid and it runs just fine on the snow. We had a big snow storm this past winter in NY and it ran great on the snow. The highway and street were cover with snow as more snow was coming down. There was a minivan swerving all over the 3 lane highway ahead of me. I drove by a stuck pick up truck stranded almost at the top of a hill the same evening of the snow storm. I'm currently waiting on the delivery of a 2021 Highlander Platinum Hybrid. Like Jeff mention on another video, I had to order mine because the dealer didn't have one on the lot the way I want it.
I do not like this color never have 🤮 my 2 favorite are jade metallic or moon dust. My moon dust actually holds up good with dirt and dust it always looks clean.
Jeff, thanks for going over all the features, I just picked up a AWD XLE. I am just getting to learn what the Highlander is all about. So far I am pleased with it, the only drawback I have found so far is that there is no arm rest for my left are and same for the front seat passengers right arm. I think if Toyota could either put a movable arm rest on the seat or enlarge part of the door to be able to rest the arm. I find myself trying to hold my arm up while I’m driving. Love to hear your thoughts or recommendations. BTW, you got video bombed by a Honda Pilot while you were videoing! Thanks

I have a question. Why does the Highlander 2021 have a steering wheel on the right ?I mean every manufacturer knows that every type of car has to have a steering wheel on both sides either left or right. Why does this model have a steering on the left only. If you look at reviews about this amazing car there are no steering wheel on the right. Please if you have any relationship with Toyota company try make them see this. It's really disappointing.

Because they need to sell lots of them. Americans are not ready for electric yet, and many don’t want them.
