Poor Leslie Gore. She had so much talent and she was such a great performer. Unfortunately, she died young and she struggled throughout the rest of her life just to get by. Thank you for this magnificent présentation on the RUclips channel. Johnny, Montréal, Canada
Not to mention people constantly spelling her name wrong! It's L-E-S-L-E-Y, get it right! But yes, I agree; some of her best work went completely ignored. I have searched long and hard but the only clip I can find of Lesley singing a Lil' Bits and the Witch original in the 70's is the hilarious but disappointing short "I'd Like To Be" on Midnight Special. And getting lung cancer from second-hand smoke just wasn't fair! RIP, my favourite singer/songwriter, Lesley Sue Gore. Scratch that, she needs to come back! IM-IM-IM-IM-MORE-MORE-MORE-MORTALITY!
Love the song..it is bouncy and tuneful. She even sang it on the Donna Reed Show. So why did it flop? Only #76 on the charts. I know it got virtually no airplay in Los Angeles.
Her little dance… SHES PERFECT!!
Yes!
Lesley Perfection Gore!

Written by Lesley and her brother Michael. From Lesley's album, Lesley Gore Sings All About Love.

I love her live performances because we get to hear her sing without the overdub
Perfection
