I don't really get all the confusion, its pretty simple. Any time the bersek mod didn't work was because you were trying to jump on spiny enemies and everyone knows you have to use power ups to kill those. In seriousness respect for sticking out this challenge to the end.
I like to think this iteration of V is a cyberpsycho/someone doped up on drugs trapped in a delusion that they're classic video game hero Mario and just goes on a rampage around town stomping and burning people with fire bombs all while shouting "It's-a ME! Mario!" as you reduce mooks and mechs to smears and cinders on the ground. 😂
"Hey boss, this stomp ability just doesn't work, should we fix it?" "Nah, we have bigger priorities. Besides, everyone is only going to use sandy anyway, so I doubt anyone will even notice"
It kinda makes sense that you can't do a "superhero landing" indoors, because realistically you wouldn't be falling more than a couple feet after jumping.
johnny's pistol has an alternate melee flame flower lol, but you should have just have had a 5 second frame that just says NO after the question of whether you can win with this.
Meredith could be Bowsette. She's "evil" but not quite, you get to "smash" her if you so choose after, she unintentionally brought the rule 34 back into the franchise and.... Both are blonde wearing black 🤭 Btw love that you mention each character as the Mario world instead of the Cyberpunk. "Luigi tells me meet with Wario" That's golden XD
I'm currently beating the snot out of the game as Nurgle the plague god. With the right build, you can clear most missions with contagion and cyberpsychosis.

Wendy is basically an incredibly ambiguous child of Bowser (Suboro) anyway, and Yorinobu, (Bowser Jr.) and Hanako are siblings. And if we're making Peach an evil person just cause we're 'saving' her as Mario, then we can easily just make her a badass in Panam, especially since you do get the romance option with her. (The aldacoldos as a group could also be Toads) This also means you could make Meredith Daisy since her name would be free and you do get the option to have a one-night fling with her. Meredith is a strange, freaky woman and I also imagine Daisy would be too considering she's the strangest of the princesses. Also Smasher can just be Wart from SMB2, since he only fills the final boss criteria. With this, Takemura and Oda can just be Koopa Troopas (Arasaka goons) since they work for Bowser. Waluigi can be Brick, the guy you have the option to save during the All Foods mission (Since he made that deal with Dex (Wario) in the first place.) And Shy Guy can be... Whatever at this point, lol. I'm just fucking with you though. Nice vid as always, man.
I wonder... It seems like it mainly struggled with indoor environments. So I wonder if when you jumped, stomped and hit the roof, it imparted the Shockwave on the roof but left you to finish the animation and land as normal. Maybe in some of those jumps you didn't quite clip the roof and that's why they worked. Also the stairs thing it almost seems as though the Shockwave effect is actually a flat entity that only spreads over level terrain and can't travel through open air, so if the enemy is standing one stair up or down it just doesn't work.
Enter 2.0 and the new perk system with the hero landing ability and the fact that you don't need a perk to do a stealth takedown from above anymore, this seems more manageble I'm 1 year and more late, but i gotta try
The mechs are so strange. Try to use a gun and they take forever to kill. Try anything else and they fall like flies. I did a wrench playthrough recently (hardest difficulty) and the mech would die so fast. Royce? Dead in 5 secs. Konpeki mech? One tapped. Mech at Arasaka industrial park? Didn't even get a shot off. Only exception I found were the cyberpsychos.
i would have made the argument that you can use a hammer in this sort of run because it's one of the major tools Mario uses in every version that appears in RPGs
While the ability is clearly not optimized, I imagine part of the issue is the developers just never expected V to spend their entire career cosplaying a jump stomping italiano plumber to need to make areas not outdoors register properly.
You could totally have used the hidden dragon move and called that mario too. It is also more in line with Mario cannon, as his head jump is not generally AOE.

For a cyberpunk challenge: do a run as Jack Sparrow. Sneaking, stealing everything rhat isn't nailed down and smooth talking past avoidable enemies. And you have to be drunk the whole way through.
I'm surprised you didn't let yourself use a hammer for this run. Mario definitely has a hammer as a weapon in some of the games (Paper Mario Thousand Year Door springs to mind) so I feel like it'd have still been in the spirit of the run
Heres an idea for a future run that sticks to the jump theme. Only/mainly using aerial stealth takedowns, call it the Ezio challenge or something. I have absolutely no idea if that would work since ive never used them, even though i took the the skill on my first run, and ive never seen them used aside from the little video they show you. Maybe even get yourself some mantis blades, they are hidden blades in your wrists after all.
Does Gorilla Arms affect stomp damage? Did you try out some perks for Fists? I noticed you eventally got the Engineering perk that added a base explosion to the fire grenades, anything rlse stand out as useful?

It looked like when you used the stomp ability it leveled up street brawler. Perhaps if you get perks perks for street browler it would increase the damage or area of effect. Perhaps gorilla arms would increase the damage. The 1st of my tested bizarre creation the stump of ability I had legendary gorilla arms and legendary fist with all cyberware upgrades.

What if the fire flower rule was -At full health you can use fire flower, but after you lose a quarter amount of health you "lose" the ability. Additionally -after you drop below 50% health you need to take off your armor 🤣

is it possible that the jump attack has a unreasonably high vertical height requirement in order to activate as well, because maybe the crouch mod allows you to activate it when it wouldnt do anything?

Yeah I tried some perks and tested things on stream but never saw a difference in damage numbers.

I noticed the same thing, and tested that on stream and I never saw a damage buff from it.
Saw the streams in my sub box and I just questioned how this would even work after watching i am not disapointed

Yeah, the hight needed might not have worked in some small spaces. Also aiming it was really difficult with it auto triggering.
