I would love to see you react to Marjorie. It's not about a romantic relationship. It's a song she wrote about her late grandmother, and the most beautiful and haunting vocal recording of her grandmother is on the track and it's chilling. If that one doesn't absolutely destroy you then nothing will. It's so beautiful to hear the impact she had on Taylor's life and as a parent I think it will gut you in the best way.

She is a normal, run-of-the-mill, artistic genius. I have been a swiftie since 2009 (I'm 60), and I still DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW SOMEONE IS THIS TALENTED. You MUST do "All Too Well" the short film, and realize that she wrote AND DIRECTED the film. Also, her voice is beautiful but don't let that distract you from the genius lyrics. And btw, to people who say "she writes about relationships"....what do male artists write about??? "Hot for Teacher" by Van Halen was about world peace??

I agree about All Too Well... but he should see the Original she performed live and made the song go viral... there are two live versions and one she is crying. Then watch the All Too Well Taylor’s Version Short Film. To me some of it does not flow as well (for example she is looking at pictures of him as a little kid and then he is throwing a fit and his keys but why?) but with the video it works. I’ve been a Swifty from the beginning and I’ll be 50 next year. I have realized that as I believe, God will turn our persecution’s into Blessings. He gave this young woman an amazing voice but she has always had to keep pushing the mountain. So Scooter Brain actually got her a Blessing out of his nastiness. I’m re-recording her albums, she has a whole new generation of fans. She is just such a beautiful Soul!!

It was originally released on her album red and was never actually a single but fans were always obsessed with it. At some point she mentioned in an interview that the original version was actually ten minutes and that it was cut down for the record so fans hounded her for years for the longer version and boy, it DOES NOT disappoint. It’s about her relationship with Jake gyllanhal. Just as someone else mentioned above, you keep putting out Taylor reaction videos your sub count will go up rather quickly. Theres nothing more rewarding than a swifty watching a grown man who didn't think he would like Taylors music slowly becoming a swifty himself. Your reactions are so genuine, I'lll admit I subbed just to go on your Taylor journey with you 💛 I am sure there are many more who did too

Exile has haunted me ever since I first listened to it when the album dropped, such an amazing song and lyrics ❤
Surprisingly, this song isn't about her life (such as many of the songs from folklore), here she wanted to portray exactly the two sides of a broken up relationship
I'm so happy you're enjoying your new Swiftie road

I absolutely love what you said about how Taylor feels like she’s so real and just everybody’s friend because THAT is the absolute bottom line of why she has the community she does. Beyond her incredible performances, beyond her literally mind blowing storytelling, she truly connects with her fans and it’s not just that WE feel that way, she does too. She’s said it so many times, that her fans truly know her and she feels like she knows us. It’s a relationship that she values above any other part of her career and she shows it. Us Swifties are a really loving and welcoming bunch and it’s a community that I’m proud to be part of. I said it last time and I’ll say it again; you’re one of my favorite reaction channels and Taylor is my absolute favorite artist so I hope you continue this journey and take us along. 💜

You were in tears, relating to this song. I think that's what artists are going for-making you nod, "YES", and perhaps shed a tear or two. They don't just want an aural pleasure-they want you to feel it to your soul. CLEARLY this had that effect on you. This is my favorite song on this album. I never thought I'd ever listen to a Taylor Swift album, much less love every single freaking song on one. But she got me with this album. One of my all time favorite albums. And I'm not young, so I have a lot of material to choose from in my lifetime. She's so talented.

  • @ellebeau8041

The "everyone's friend" aspect is a big part of why she is so huge. Sure, she's massively talented, but that element of relatability is a key element of Taylor's appeal.

Also yes, all these emotions, how you’re feeling about Taylor being like a Goddess but also like your friend, we all feel that way, it’s why us Swifties all get along so much.

Taylor, Aaron and Jack all got together to record The Long Pond Sessions also during quarantine. Aaron and Jack both had worked with Taylor remotely but had not met each other until they did the sessions. Jack has worked with Taylor since her 2014 "1989" album.

Love seeing you fall in love with Taylor and her music in real time and I SO appreciate how open, genuine, and vulnerable you are in your reactions. Taylor has done another song with Bon Iver! It’s called Evermore. It’s an absolutely stunning song and her live performance is one or my favorites, but it’s done solo so you miss out on Bon Iver’s vocals if you only watch the live. I think you should react to the Eras Tour Movie (when you can) so you can get a grasp of how wide-ranging her music really is. I’m so excited to watch you go on this journey!! "The second Taylor started singing, I smiled" --> And that's really it. There's something so HUMAN in the emotions she translates through her songs, and they just make me happy to listen to. At least emotional, but quite often happy. It''s the gold standard for music, for me, and you encapsulated it with just that one sentence.
And if really want to "get attached to her more" Lol, then you really *should* react to "Miss Americana".

i can absolutely relate to what you're saying about "being on the outside looking in and being on the inside looking out." i heard her radio singles since 2006, liked her music but avoided listening to her. back then, i was immature and tried to avoid "popular"/trending things, people or movies/shows. finally in 2021 at 33 yrs old, i decided to give her discography a chance and i can't believe i wasted all that time! she brings so much to the table. the people who think she only writes about exes or "all her music sounds the same" are really losing out. it's so great seeing people give her a chance.

There are a couple song I think you will most likley love: "champagne problems" and "tolerate it" from the album evermore. This was THE MOST.... mentally, emotionally and spiritually SATISFYING reaction video I've ever watched. THANK YOU for getting it. Thank you for letting yourself feel it. So many creators, also men, affected by the culture they were raised in, training them to DENY what is occurring, and unable to HOLD emotion in their body, you can see them bopping their heads like a nervous tick... even when there is no beat, even when there is only feeling and flow and stillness. But you LET YOURSELF BE THERE and that is so courageous and STRONG. And I love love love to see that. It gives me hope for knowing more good men in the future. And just to have her genius and her heart acknowledged like that... from a man, is just... it feels so damn good.
