If P06 was released by SEGA and was licensed by them, I could argue that this is the best Sonic game of all time. This game made me feel happiness again.

@@sometf2player752 It’s Hardly a Fan game, just Polished up the Original 06 and made it Great. Never understood why Comparing Fangames to Official Games is such a bad thing, if something is better than the Official game then just accept it. Trying to Shield Sonic Team and SEGA from Any criticism perhaps? Don’t want to accept the possibility they have no idea what they’re doing with this Franchise which is why we get Mediocre title after Mediocre title?
@@Terminal_Apotos you do realize project 06 is sonic 06 entirely recreated in unity right the only thing that’s left from the original 06 is the assets I think that very much counts it as a fan game
@@Terminal_Apotos giving sonic team criticism is fine I mean Kishimoto was taking fan feedback on twitter but comparing fan games to official products is kinda petty especially when said fan games were never meant to compete with official games they are simply projects made with love of the series these fans aren’t trying to be better than sonic team they are simply just showing their support for the series
I can’t wait to see how ChaosX recreates the boss battles. Wonder if SonicpoX will help recreate the story and cutscenes too
IIRC, the Very Hard and Super Hard missions for the already existing levels did more stuff with the secondary characters (specially Shadow, who had Rouge AND Omega in most of those), so seeing those down the line would be great. Still, been a year and a half since the Shadow update, this one is great too, will enjoy the bosses when they eventually are added, hyped to see how they are handled, as Chaos X had said that Frontiers had given him ideas.
It’s crazy and really sad that this whole P-06 project had to show the world that this was intended to be one of Sonic’s greatest games of all time & it shows.. (had it would’ve been finished DARN YOU SEGA FOR MAKING THEM RUSH!!!!)
Silver's Crisis City at night is something that i didn't knew i needed
Also, there are some settings that turned off help greatly with game slow down:
Glowing Outlines
Volumetric Lights
Reflections
I'm sure soon there will be an update with some fixes to this problems.
Yes! The way crisis city is similar to the opening cutscene is just so good
When I turned reflections off I got like 30+ fps lol (it was on low before)
ChaosX is taking a break after a few patches to this release. Don't expect the Last Story+bosses update for at least 2 years.
It’s totally understandable that chaos x decides to take a break after everything he’s done but I hope we don’t have to wait so long.
Honestly the best idea. The Last Story + All bosses will be a very difficult task especially considering they have to do Sonic's Silver boss fight, Shadow's Silver boss fight, Silver's Sonic & Shadow boss fight, Sonic & Shadow's version of Iblis, all 3 Silver Iblis bosses, Mephiles phases 1 & 2 and all Eggman bosses such as Cerb, Genesis and Wyvern. Not just that but even after doing Last story, Solaris is another beast in itself. ChaosX will pull it off definitely but it will take some time for sure.
I feel like if ChaosX genuinely wants to do a full adaptation then the hub world plus story mode will come last with town missions. I have a feeling though that it will never happen sadly.
@@furynvm I personally don’t care too much about town missions and story mode when the bosses are done the game will be pretty much complete.
@@furynvm There are only 2 Iblis fights for Silver. One after Crisis City and one after Flame Core.
I don't think ChaosX will add the hub world, but I'm quite confident that after the project is finished, fans will mod the game to be the complete Sonic 06 experience. They will add the hub world and town missions, because they respect ChaosX and want to contribute to the dream of having a well-crafted Sonic 06.
Dude, he made all the levels playable now. I don't need the bosses anytime soon. As far as I'm concerned, he can take break now without putting in the patches.
As far as I know, the slow down is caused by a few of the graphical settings which was common for every first release of each story. I’m pretty sure the fix is to turn off volumetric lighting, glowing outlines, and reflections until a update is pushed out for the silver release. Hopefully this helps :)
Maybe but it's weird to me how it runs perfectly fine for the first 30 minutes of playing
@@SFproductions1 yea same here. Everything was running fine until I got to Kingdom Valley. Beautiful cutscenes to start off and then it started being choppy. It did that for me on shadows release as-well but still great work from ChaosX nonetheless💪
@@thisisntmystic6133 Also I found that the in game V-sync option causes the game to stutter for some reason... Using your GPU's dedicated Vsync or FreeSync feature works wonders.

Great video! You’ve got pretty good points tbh. Silver’s updates is peak fiction, especially with Blaze, it’s so fun. They really put a lot love into this 👍
4:15 If performance goes down after long sessions then it's most likely a memory leak issue. I haven't encountered that issue yet, but myself and others have experienced big frame rate dips in Silvers Kingdom Valley stage (even on modern, powerful pc rigs)
Thank god sega allows fan games cuz otherwise i dont think anyone would appreciate sonic 06 for what it tried to be and not what it is
I do have to say Sonic 06 is a great game I know many people don't like this game but I say there is a lot of positives
Shadow was brilliant when it comes to writing.
Silver was brilliant too and gave his origins and backstory.
Mephiles was great too as one of the underrated villains.
Amy was good as well he was willing to protect Sonic when Silver tried to kill him. Blaze on sealing Iblis was great too. Every Character beside Elise and Eggman design was great.
My only problem beside Elise and the glitches
Is might be surprised Team Chaotix, Eggman Nega and Metal Sonic are not in this game. Team Chaotix they say they are one of the good cgaracters when it comes to morality ran away more like it. Eggman Nega and Metal Sonic whre were they they could team up with the heroes and Eggman to stop Mephiles and Solaris but they were not there to be seen. I was so dissapointed with that aspect.

With the slowdown, im not sure if this is true, but while watching a stream, someone in the chat said that this game is prone to memory leak, so all youd have to do is just close and boot the game back up and its good again.

This was silver's arc. Blaze had no business to be involved much in the story besides being silver's sidekick or mentor. Honestly I think blaze should just play the main character in her own world or in a rush game and not get dragged into another serious and melodramatic stories again.
They could've centered the arc around blaze instead of silver.
@@SFproductions1 apparently 06 just wasn't a game for blaze. It seems that they wanted to make silver great in 06 and gave him development and build up to make him stand out as one of the main character that you play as and complete the hedgehog trio representing past, present and future. Which is what I assume that they were going for. So silver played a prominent role here than blaze.
But it seems that they wanted to make silver great so bad that they just used blaze as fan service to appeal the blaze fans and make silver cooler. Blaze seemed more of an afterthought during silver's 06's development in silver's story. As if they weren't planning on putting blaze in this game's story until they thought to themselves that blaze seemed like a perfect character for a fiery background. That seems to be the case here.
Again I think blaze should just play the main character in her own world and not get dragged into places(world,time and dimension) that she doesn't belong in.

I highly doubt it. It's not optimized for lower end PCs at all... At least not yet!
It’s working on Steam Deck but it’s with horrible FPS
I was able to get the game working at a stable 30 fps on my steam deck
@@SFproductions1 I mean, I have a PC that's mostly composed of 2011 hardware and P06 runs pretty decently on the right settings
@@Neoniq41 but this is the steam deck we're talking bout. It will definitely run on low settings but probably not any higher than 30fps
