I would take the end off and use a zip tie to keep just the hose on the bleeder and bypass the ends.
Wow what a coincidence! This happened to me last weekend, when I was trying to bleed the brakes on my pickup truck and the weather wouldn't cooperate for my video, so I just said screw it and bled the brakes on my Lambo. lol
Great minds think alike
Great review! I bought this kit to bleed my 66 Mustang. By the way, super sharp Lamborghini!
Thank you! Always appreciate the support..I have used it a bunch everything from the chevelle, lambo, truck, u name it. Definitely got my $ worth.
Thx for the review man. Btw its always nice to see a dad and his son do car stuff. wish my dad did the same with me.
Thank u brother appreciate the kind words. Hope it was helpful.
Me n my dad built up my pt cruiser. It's a beast now. Great memories. Also I joined the army in a car shop
Amazing tool. I used it on a pt cruiser with a built a604 with 42rle and a904 internals shift kits limited slip differential and more.. i simply overfilled the reservoir..pre pumped.. then used the tool and repeated.. and you need atleadt a 20-30 gallon compressor to use this bleeder. My braking is way better. I got new calipers. Off amazon. A premium brake hoses and bosch ceramic split pads and drilled slotted rotors
I bought it and it works perfectly, thank you
Awsome 2 hear!
Just got one of these, thanks for the video.
Let me know how it works for you. I would be curious to see if you found any tips or tricks I haven't discovered
HMMM? Fitting sucks air,.... IMO, (what I will try, in 20+- minutes) FIRST, use the fittings that you remove the OEM fitting, anf directly attach the hose, Then, once you know, it's all fluid and air out, Then, quckily (to avoid much air) switch over to the OEM bleeder and the push on fitting, (he used) and finish the last short area in the calipers,..... (As he said, to simply bleed, puch on worked OK,.... YET, If you know,.. you have air in the lines, (replaced parts etc) then the push on may be a small issue....... It comes with the direct hose fittings.
13:53 I bought that same dog water dish back in 2008 to drain the oil from my old Kawasaki.
I swear some of my favorite garage tools come from the kitchen goods section at the store🤣
@@Turnersspeedshop haha, I buy kitchen funnels from the dollar store.
Pretty sure my wife has had 2 replace the turkey baster once or twice as well 🤣
@@Turnersspeedshop haha
16:55 its meant to use air. Thats why i pre pumped before using tbe tool and after
Try grease around the entire bleeder screw, air likely coming through threads on bleeder. Hope that helps thanks for the review
Will give it a try..Thanx 4 the tip 👍
Many have given this tip but dripping brake fluid from the nipple on to the threads eats right through the grease. (Ive tried it)
@@strumpeteer even with pure silicone grease?
@@remogaggi82 to be honest, I used Sil-Glyde. Perhaps that’s too thin?
Lambo wheels got 2 break calipers nice
Please USE JACK STANDS FOR THAT LAMBO 🙏
Nice video! And cool lambo, what year is it?
Thank you! It's an old school Gallardo. 2004
14:08 fluid on the lambo looks ok.. but the truck was too green..
What psi were you drawing? My home one is a 26 gal and i can get about 150 psi.
Great Job!! Can this vacuum bleeder be used on drum brakes? Thanks. 👍
Great question! I have not personally used it on drum brakes but I certainly don't see why it wouldn't work
Thanks.... Appreciate it. Happy Holidays!!@@Turnersspeedshop
Happy Holidays 2 u as well! Thanx 4 the support
Whats the difference in using actual racing brake fluid vs normal synthetic brake fluid for a performance setup ?
Correct, the boiling point is much higher in "racing" application downside is it doesn't last as long needs flushed more often
I used this and didn't get a drop of fluid. Compressor to 140 psi. Nothing. New bleeders. Nothing!
Defective unit? If you put a finger over the end of tube could u feel a vacuum?
@Turnersspeedshop yes. I filled a cup with fluid and it worked. Pump the breaks and get fluid that way. Just not with the vacuum.
Did you open the bleeder valve?
@BriNbigD YES, I opened the bleeder! Even replaced it in case the original was damaged.
@@jumpie2419proportional valve stuck? Might have to blow air back to pop it back to neutral on older cars
