Copag seems to be a legit competitor. At first I was like “Meh” but having a couple of their decks I’ve really began to enjoy their unique feel. Add to that an ever growing supply of “boutique” decks and plenty of standard sets with gaff availability seems to really push them forward yet again.
David, I love, I mean I LOVE your choice of content. I love cards, I love Gaffe decks. Like you, I dont really use them, but you showing me before I buy them is a luxury for sure. Thank you. You are a true blessing in the most subtle way for me.
My old fingers just can’t do what they used to but I too collect gaff cards. They’re fun and make me laugh. I’ll definitely buy this deck. I thought I read somewhere it had 56 cards in it so I hope there are a lot of other variations. I already have too many DB and BF Cards from their Deck 1. magicorthodoxy 👀Me too. I “collect” three things: Gaff Cards, Rider Back Decks and Marked Decks. My eyes started to go around age 50. The only marked decks I could read after that were Brooklyn’s and DMC. Last year I had cataract surgery and it was a miracle. Now I only need glasses to read real fine print... but I can read Marked Reader Decks without glasses. Coded Marked Decks are a different story though. Those decks are for young people with better than average sight. I mean some of the the marks are so tiny I don’t think Superman could read them (I guess he would just use X-Ray vision to see the front of the card😅).
Sadly didn't work out for them. Rumour is that Copag 310 is now out of production. If you enjoy playing with a regular deck then buy whatever remaining stock you see!
Where could I buy this? The Gaff Deck 1 is able on amazon directly from Copag for 8€. Gaff Deck 2 is only able from a middlemen for nearly double the price due to huge shipping costs.
I feel like some of the gaff cards I own must have more uses than I've found for them. I've got a full deck of double facers and double backers, does anyone know of any good sources for effects that make use of gaff cards? Preferably books. There are some in expert card technique but none that really tickled my fancy. I use my double facers for mcdonalds aces and they were worth every penny just to be able to do that effect but it feels like there must be more.
Cartamundi is coming strong, but for me, no one will ever top the USPCC quality and feel ESPECIALLY over time, I noticed that my EPCC decks for example lost their smell (i know it’s weird but i love smelling my cards lol) and some even developed a weird smell, copag 310 lost its smell too. Btw I don’t only rate cards according to how they smell, maybe i do but trust me uspcc will never be topped

I don't sorry, typically we don't concern ourselves with stock on gaff cards, since you only use a few cards at a time
