Great review and worth it. The one thing missing was a closeup of the faces side by side. Since you bring it up more than once I felt it was an oversight.

I actually like copag because it gives a free blank card and a double backer but can you have a deck war with tally ho and copag 310?

Copag has ruined USPCC's decade. They have had 90% plus of the industry. They probably have not done any R&D in years. Ellusionist is not printing a single card with USPCC, they are going with Cartamundi. Don't know if contract for Cartamundi exists, but I know the business with USPCC is over. Ellusionist told me themselves...some company has a no slogan. Something like " we love made in America, but we love quality cards enough to print somewhere else.

Now the rider backs are literally the same cards printed for standard it’s kind of a shame tbh I always thought the older cards handled better.

You always want to give your viewers the best possible video, that’s a no brainer. If you want to see how a review should be composed, shot, mic’d, etc, check out MagicOrthodoxy here on RUclips, as I will be starting initial review recording in mid July.
As far as the two decks go, sure the Bicycle Riderbacks have stood the test of time and are probably the industry standard, but USPCC makes so many different types and styles of decks. I’ve actually started buying the Bicycle Elite Edition Riderbacks, which are printed on their Super Thin Premium Stock. To compare the 310’s, yes they are way thicker and way more buttery out of the box but I find that the Cartamundi B9 Finish Decks I own that over time they start to feel a little sloppy. I actually received the Cobra Deck by JPGames, Ltd today and after only handing them for over an hour, there was a noticeable difference over how they felt right out of the box. I think that the reason so many casinos use the USPCC Bicycle and Bee decks is because of their durability.
As far as the air cushion vs linen finish goes, they are both a stamping or embossing process that both makers perform when producing the cards, to call them a true linen finish would actually mean that there was actual linen in there somewhere, but I’ve not seen any and that was both with a loop and a microscope. My guess is that the cards would be insanely priced if they actually had to use linen paper in the production.
With over 400+ decks in my working collection I would have to say that they all have their time and place and don’t like saying one is better than the other, unless one is total shit mind you.
As far as the videos go, I would work on editing. Try and script your videos, try to stay away from the ummms and content that just wastes hard drive space. People want to tune in to watch the subject matter and not all the jibber jabber or twaddling about.
I was just curious though, how does someone call their channel The Cardists and not actually be a Cardist?
Hope your having a good one mate and we’ll catch you again soon.

True Linen does not have linen in the cards. Most printing now is large scale. This is part of the reason why USPCC can't get near the center of the cards during printing, in addition to the quality taking a nose dive due to the monopoly they have had. The used to wrap the steel presses with linen. But a quick Google will tell you that the True Linen B9 finish is the name given to the finish.

If you don't know the importance of thickness then I highly doubt your credibility. The 310 may handle very very well, but you are beyond wrong when you say that bycicle cards last less time. The 310 cards usually bow and crip a lot easier. So unless the only shuffle you do is riffle and you never do any cardistry that requires you to throw cards or bend them in any way, I reccomend you get bycicle cards for when you begin, and find your own style of cards later on. The roughness of the bycicle cards go away when you break them in (takes 5 minutes), and USPCC cards typically have air cushioning on both sides, which is more effective than a linen finish. Furthermore, I don not condemn you if you want to use copag cards, but you should keep in mind that copag is a single company and that USPCC will have multiple decks from different creators to allow you to find your perfect fit. Perfect example is David Blaines, one of the biggest modern magicians, has his company print with USPCC.
