Prices on action figures are all over the place these days so it is weird. $20 seems like a lot for these, but you look at Super7 Reactions and those are also $20 with less articulation and less details. Fortnite figures at around $11. Spin Master DC figures which are well articulated and usually around $8 or so. Then low end stuff like Lanard and Chap Mei which can have extra articulation and sometimes under $5. I also find that higher price doesn't mean higher quality, especially if you are the type to play with the figures a lot. I like that you threw in the Avatar figure for comparison, that was a good line for the price.
That is all for sure. I lump these close to the 1:18 League of Legends from Spin Master. Soft plastic, cartoony look, but better articulation for $12 or $13 I believe. McFarlane is like A- tier in my book. Not a big and diverse company like Hasbro or Jazwares. But he is much bigger than companies like Super7. He has also talked in the past about keeping prices lower. Just a whole pile of weird here.
Reaction figures are meant to stay in the carded package, you’re not just paying for the figure you’re also paying for the art and the packaging. The blind boxes on the other hand….
@@RichardGonzalez-so9ub You are probably right, but if that was the case why even bother adding any articulation to the figures if they are meant to stay in the package? Or why not use a packaging that allows you to slide the blister from the card stock, like Joy Toy and other companies do? I agree though, their art is fantastic. It kills me ripping my cards apart to remove my Reaction figures.
Thanks for the review! I think they look like some pretty cool figures. I'm really excited for an action/adventure 2D animated film in the theater and I seriously like these figures. I'm going to be looking for them in stores.
Can't believe this came out from Mcfarlane Toys This wave/line is trying to look like an 80's toy but failed, even the 80's toys looks better than them lol
Not really worth it for me. I almost passed them. But i saw they were build a figure. And even with limited articulation, that snow troll look good lol
It's literally all garbage. It shows Mcfarlane barely proofreading their designs and barely studying prototypes. They just brush things off, purely perfunctory.
I tend to think it is just laziness and no real interest in the IP except to try and make some money. McFarlane has limited articulation on page punchers and super friends. So they just followed that line of thinking.
Not even ball joint necks? They look awful with slit throats. I hate what’s becoming of 3.75 in the recent years. They should have mirrored Mattel’s Jurassic figure design
Ngl these look like I’ll see em at Ollie’s next year
That might be generous. lol
Ollies is where most 5 POA’s go to die. When will they learn?

Thank you for the review! Yea, I don't know if I would purchase these on my own. They look kind of cool.
Very fine line between looking cool and price.

Wow...these look like Bootlegs from Mexico. 😂🤣

They look on par with what was shown in the trailer. Why spend money making toys for something that is a bad take on the professor’s work?
Bro took 16:05 to say the word, "No".
I know, some people right?
$20 is a bit much
I agree.

Nope. It’s a pretty weak effort from a company who has made an awesome 1:18 figure in the past.
Good thing if you want to buy cheaper Aliexpress bootlegs version you won´t tell the difference. 😂
Helm is the only one that looks appealing to me. What is Hera even wearing? Long underwear? Doesn't look Rohirrim like at all.
Yeah, if I had to choose, Helm looks the best.
fraking black series star wars figures have better articulation and paint job......
