It's finally processing day for our 8-week-old chickens from ‪@McMurrayHatchery‬. While we're keeping the bulk of our processing off of RUclips (in order to avoid the more graphic bits getting reported), I did want to show you a bit of what our set-up looks like and finish out our weekly chick updates.
If you ARE interested in seeing a full breakdown of what we do, please leave a comment and we will upload that after our next batch of birds.
Plus, I'm giving you an update on what happened to our turkey. Did we end up processing her as well?

Can you share where you got the bags please? The ones that shrink around the bird in the water. Did you end up putting a small slit in the bag in the middle of the breast to allow the bag to shrink?

Absolutely! These are the ones we used: amzn.to/3OZZZKM. The bags come with this plastic tubing you put in the cavity of the bird to help get some of the air, but instead of putting it in the cavity, I put the tube in-between the two breasts as I think it helped the bag to shrink a bit more.
