Nice to see you vlog again! Another nice way to get them off and on, without having to clean anything, use pure alcohol and a cheap sprayer. The alcohol will vaporize after a short while and the grips will be sticking to the max on your handlebars. 😎🙌
Thank you Richard, Yea good idea, I think basically anything fairly volatile works, a mate said he uses thinners. It’s just I’ve always got brake cleaner handy. Never seen anyone else do it, funny how we all arrive at similar methods. Take care.
Great video mate. Ive used hairspray as well! Also a spray to stop the windshield of the car from fogging, water with soap (takes a while to dry) as long as its not a heavy lubricant it should dry completely in a couple of days. Zipties also work wonders and no need for lune
Thanks Fireypete! We've done a few videos recently I just don't think they've been promoted much. Check out our back catalogue lol. Hoping to release one each Monday, fingers crossed.

Hi. I stick a strip of adhesive tape onto the bars, before sliding the grips on. It's the tape used to fit new golf club grips. Its very simple to use and easily removed with a hair dryer or hot air gun. Which grips are those you're using there please, Oxford ? Rgds James.
@@DormanDiaries HI, Morning. I believe you have also changed the grips on your RE Inty? Im going to change mine too, but all the ones Ive looked at, like the ones you've used are only about 1200mm long. the Originals on the Inty is 1260mm. Did ou find that they stretched along the full length of the bar ? Cheers James.
@@jamessexton4288 I changed my bars at same time so didn’t notice. Just fitted controls where I wanted them. Don’t think I cut throttle tube tho but can’t remember long time ago now

@@DormanDiaries The new garage is already looking great - I mean who doesn't appreciate a polished concrete slab! Keep up the good work my friend.
You definitely got your money's worth out of the old grips !! 😎
Aye they’d had their use by the looks!
I really enjoy your videos. What grips did you use? I'm looking for something similar.
Hi Tom,
Thanks very much!

You could always use a bit of emery cloth on the bars before you put on the grips ,
Peace out ✌
Yea good idea 👍
Nice video
Thank you Meena
The wire trick is genius, glue just doesn’t last in my experience for some reason…
Nah it definitely doesn’t. Particularly if you’re a softie with heated grips 😜
@@DormanDiaries haha, a softie with warm hands though 🤣
