So there are 14 games in total, and the current score after this draw is 4.5 for both, and the first one to score 7.5 will win (first one to win 7 rounds but in this case both have .5 each) that's what I've been told, so these next 5 games are going to be intense, also if there is going to be a tie even after 14 games, the tiebreaker round will be played.@@tusharrawat3964

It's obvious both of these players are playing it out safe. This saga of draws can go on till Game 11th or even 12th. But I'm 99% sure game 13th won't end in a draw and the player that wins that one will ultimately win the championship. Nobody would bet on the 14th to be the decider. That's what I feel.
It was very complicated, if you watch the 5 hours very carefully, you will see that Ding actually won, but you need to see the whole video to realize this.
Guys, for me it is becoming hard to believe that Ding Liren was not faking it the whole year. Ding Liren's accuracy so far: game 1: 96(97 according to some sources) game 2: 97 game 3: 89 game 4: 99(100 according to FIDE) game 5: 98 game 6: 98 Game 7: 94 Game 8: 92 Game 9: 99(+) (According some sources Game 9 is the most accurate game in the history of chess world championships with just 2.5 average centipawn loss(2 Ding, 3 Gukesh)across 50+ moves! The quality of moves from both players was consistently so high that a top chess engine could not have won this game against either Gukesh or Ding. Also, at least upto game 6, this world championship was apparently the most accurate of all world championships.) Ding Liren's average accuracy percentage so far is about 96 - which is 3 higher than even his last world championship. Even Gukesh with over 95 accuracy has not been able to overshadow him. How did this Ding Liren, that is playing at pretty much his prime level, suddenly appear after such a poor year if he was not acting? I know Sagar and Tania will defend Ding Liren, because they have to interview him, but this is highly suspicious.
Accuracy isn't a very useful metric to measure the quality of play in chess. Also if you'd seen peak Ding pre-Covid, this is nowhere near his best. He's still displaying many of the weaknesses he's developed over the past year. The only difference is that he's kept the weaknesses under control compared to earlier. But they are clearly still there.
@@embersassembling939 While I will agree that accuracy isn't a perfect measure as it does not take into account the complexity or edginess of positions. Moreover, engines themselves may not be perfect. But accuracy is still definitely a decently useful measure. Even at his best, Ding was not a super-risk-taking player. In his 100 game unbeaten streak, 71 games were draws which is a higher percentage of draws when compared to say in Magnus's 125 game unbeaten streak. He was always a solid player who was happy with draws. And his most memeorable performance during his peak was probably beating Magnus in tie breaks. But people forget that the tie-breaks were faster format, not classical. Ding in his prime years never won a candidates either. Moreover, as Anish Giri pointed out, Ding Liren was never a super-confident looking player even during his prime. I think the Ding that has arrived is pretty close to his best. Which is a big surprise considering his form in last 12 months where his TPR was close to 2650.
No it's a draw as gukesh take his rook then ding with his king took gukesh rook now gukesh put king just behind the pawn so ding has no option but take his king back and gukesh could have taken the pawn 😅😅 so draw
Then he can bring his king back in front diagonally in side to pawn now gukesh can't bring his king front. He will move in side.. pawn will be pushed as it is in support with king diagonally
