I originally saw Ross Bryant on a Glass Cannon, Call of Cthulhu game and was stunned by his Roleplaying acumen. I am SO happy to have found this on my feed.
Oh this was a lovely little horror romp with a great group of people! In spite of some occasional audio & video clipping strangeness in the first half, I was enthralled by Ross's storytelling and the creative (and sometimes cartoonishly brutal) ways the players used these unique game mechanics.
I recently "discovered" Ross on Glass Cannon's Haunted City and am blown away at his talents (the whole crew is amazing, actually). It's cool to see him GMing a game here (and this crew is also fantastic).
While I was disappointed at first that Ross was DM so there would not be one of his manic or louche characters, I am now looking forward to seeing what he has in store for players and watchers.
Excited for this one. Out of all the recent investigative horror games to come out recently, this system is the most that's intrigued me. Excited to see it in action. And not familiar with Ross Bryant, but what a voice!
This was fantastic. Everyone brought so much to their characters on top of the really fun and dangerous game and theme. Just some university folks with shotguns and hatchets. Good ol' Miskatonic.
This was amazing! planning on running Arkham horror with my group. Your characters was amazing love them all! hope to see more of this!! People like this post if you want morre Arkham Horror? :D
Ross Bryant is a pip of a GM! Kudos to the entire cast (Gina DeVivo, Ify Nwadiwe, Becca Scott. Rekha Shankarare, and the production crew) are all aces in my book.
Can you imagine how much better this would be with a white erase board with a 1 inch grid on it and some upside down glasses? I'm sorry, Ross, i also love theatre of the mind, don't hate me. I will pay the price of a dream.
Thanks for the awesome video! DMing and acting both were superb! 🥰 Although, the ending did make me wonder when the last time I heard/played a CoC game that ended with survivors and at least one of them DIDN’T have some eldritch horror attached to them was?? Is it just me or would everyone being “ok” be the bigger twist at this point?
Amazing cast! Ross, please do a book related content thing somewhere. I loved your book stuff on Vampires of Pittsburgh ;). This genre was made for you to GM.
This is brilliant!! Perfect cast, fun game! just... the "dice"/"die" thing. I get it, "language is fluid"; "it's about being understood, not about rules", all of that, but still. It's killing me
Ross, I've given this a lot of thought: I'm moving in with you and we're going to be best friends and we'll live in a giant library with a spiral staircase in the Smokey Mountains and we're going to play rpg's together every day cause you're awesome AND I LOVE YOU.
this is an amazingly entertaining video, but i would say the editing kind of breaks the emergence every now and then, also the sound was a bit too low. i understand that editing a 3h video is a lot of work and it's already incredible, hope you guys fix these errors to make these videos even more outstanding
Can I ask what do you think of using the Famous Investigators from the Arkham Horror Board Game and Card Game? I think that part of the appeal of this rpg, being able to roleplay as your favorite investigator from that card/board game.
were the microphones in a different room for this? every time an ad hits it's like being shouted at because I have to turn the video up so far to hear it
I wonder who designed that sad little GM screen. It might contain all info, but it's too small to hide anything. It should have had at least three sides.
Pleeeeease boost the master volume of this by about twice the current level. The volume is considerably lower than that of ads, and any time they pop up they startle me really, really bad.
the audio levels are pretty consistent through all the GTS content and I'm not sure there's a good way to match the volume to the ads unfortunately. Sorry you're dealing with that tho! I don't get ads and the volume seems perfect and consistent to other GTS content.
If you click on the cog in the bottom right of the video, there is a toggle there for Stable Volume which may help. It makes an attempt to normalise the loudness across the entire site. Some ads will always be obnoxiously loud no matter what, but it could help.
@thisjust10 in the car I put the volume at max and I hear it at what I would call medium level. And it's only on this one. I finished watching last night because it was quiet on my computer I mean it's not inaudible, it just weirdly maxes out too quietly
"good evening, I'm Ross Bryant." You're god damn right you are, Ross.
Ross Bryant, the only man with a chiseled jaw that literally looks like shifting stone when he speaks
At first glance I thought it was Quintin Smith from Shut Up and Sit Down rofl.
I originally saw Ross Bryant on a Glass Cannon, Call of Cthulhu game and was stunned by his Roleplaying acumen. I am SO happy to have found this on my feed.
He crushes on Ain't Slayed Nobody too, and on Stream of Blood's old Neptune Society stuff, which was basically his streaming/CoC debut
same
Vaughn Villiers is probably one of the most engaging PCs on any actual play. He DESTROYS that role.
BABE WAKE UP ROSS BRYANT GM’ING
Ross Bryant GM'ing! Spooky horror! My favourite people all in one place! This is a gift
Oh this was a lovely little horror romp with a great group of people! In spite of some occasional audio & video clipping strangeness in the first half, I was enthralled by Ross's storytelling and the creative (and sometimes cartoonishly brutal) ways the players used these unique game mechanics.
You had me at "insect choreography".
@@Sturmhut praying mantises doing “Thriller” is not only a guess, but now an expectation.
@@Sturmhut actually I had to draw the line at Jazz music. lol
Ross is so masterfully flirty as these NPCs. Taking notes !!!
Gawd been waiting so long to see Ross's GMing, lezz go !
I recently "discovered" Ross on Glass Cannon's Haunted City and am blown away at his talents (the whole crew is amazing, actually). It's cool to see him GMing a game here (and this crew is also fantastic).
This one is super fun, Ross, and the cast all crush!
We had an absolute blast working on this one, to be sure. Trans-Atlantic accents all day!
@@GoodTimeSociety yeah! It was really cool to help out as a PA (and TBH mostly hang out)
Ross could probably improv an entire Lovecraftian short story in the style of HP.
That shakespearean scene he did … dang.
Ross on Time For Chaos is solid gold. Looking forward to this :).
Ross brings such a manic, electric energy as a gm - damn it, I'm in!
What a dm! What a cast!!
Love all these wonderful actors. Loved them in the Neptune Society and Dimension 20
I can't help but think Mina is an avatar of Kugrash after he transcended. Always glad to see these folks telling more stories and having fun.
The cast is amazing, but Ross is a fantastic surprise. Amazing DMing
Book Reading and Jazz *shifts nervously*
Very enjoyable. Loved everyone and their characters, what a blast!
more, we need more Ross as a keeper
Just finished it. I really hope y'all do more with this game.
More episodes of this please
I was just listening to "Aint Slayed Nobody" and was looking for more Ross Bryant-content and then this pops into my feed. Ia Ia, Algo'rithm FTAGHN!
highly recommend his stuff with Glass Cannon if you haven't seen it after this (Becca's in some of it too)
I hope you know of Stream Of Blood. So much great TTRPG content on there.
While I was disappointed at first that Ross was DM so there would not be one of his manic or louche characters, I am now looking forward to seeing what he has in store for players and watchers.
That just means he gets to play multiple manic/louche characters though.
@@andrewpanter1819 he wrote the scenario as well.
Oh hey, I personally know the writer and co-designer of this game. She's excited that y'all are playing it :)

Yes 🙌! The best board game players of all time!!!
incredible lil horror jaunt and always impressed by the narrative feat of actually doing a one-shot in one shot.
38:34 genuinely mesmerised by how Rekha embodies this character
"Who keeps all the bugs happy?!" 😂
What a phenomenal cast! So great well done all
Maybe not the Cthulhu we expected, but great to see nonetheless!
So awesome to see the Dropout cossover on GTS lately. Keep the amazingly actual plays Coming!

Ever since I saw him on dropout the shakespeare game changer episode I thought he was awesome. Feel lucky I got to see him perform!
Obviously everyone in this group is wildly talented!
Thanks. Been waiting for someone to live play it so I can see it played. You all did well.
Yay! I’m a fan of ALL of these terrific improvisers! I love the elements of the 1920s in this video as well!
Ross Bryant is a pip of a GM! Kudos to the entire cast (Gina DeVivo, Ify Nwadiwe, Becca Scott. Rekha Shankarare, and the production crew) are all aces in my book.
After watching critical role then the glass cannon network; seeing this is on before i got to watch dropout. Im ABSOLUTELY FEASTING TODAY!!!
barking like a dog when I see Ross, Ify, and Rekha in an AP together
I very much missed seeing Gina and Becca playing together!!!! More please!
Wow! Love Ross B. As the Keeper- Fantastic show and cast.
Looking for more!
Did the video go black for anyone else at 1:16:42 ? I looked at the comments, but I didn't see anyone else talk about it.
@@DreamWizardMedia yes it happened to me too
Yeah, me too!
thanks for pointing it out, I fixed it. It might take a little while to update. -jus10
@@GoodTimeSociety Thank you!
0:29 you can't imagine how happy I am to be proven right that he was going to say that.
Most excellent! Hope we get more of this and the sooner we get it the better.
You had me a 'get away sticks'. Good job everyone.
Christmas comes early this year.
Ross Bryant running Call of Cthulhu, what a treat. HELL YEAH.
Ross doing some mastering he's amazing this is gonna be great
What a great cast!

I'm astounded by how incredibly gorgeous everybody looks in tonight's costumes
Holy frijoles its Ross Bryant with a bevy of amazing players! Buckle up!
This was so fun!
O.M.G! I haven't watched this yet... but what an amazing cast! I'm already on the edge of my seat... 😃😳
Absolutely delightful!
Love to see so many familiar folk from Dropout shows in an epic one-shot.

Just found this. Some weirdness with the VOD at the beginning, but what fun.
I just saw Ross at the Kennedy Center performing with the Improvised Shakespeare company. I had to do a double take when i saw the thumbnail.😂
is the sound mixing low? I'm listening to this on full volume on my computer and it is still a little quiet, I am a bit deaf so that may be why aha
Sweet! I love pretty much all things Arkham Files. Im looking forward to this. 😊
Great cast!
Amazing cast! Ross, please do a book related content thing somewhere. I loved your book stuff on Vampires of Pittsburgh ;). This genre was made for you to GM.
Becca has got a mom vibe going on in this… and I’m here for it.
It hurts that I just found out about this beauty!! Better late than never. Bring in the madness 🦑
Yes, so into C'Thulu Mythos / Dropout right now so this is amazing!
Came across this and just 30 minutes in...sound quite low, cannot wait to watch tonight and see how the action dice pool system works.....
Came for Iffy, stayed for, well... just about everything else
This was such a great game 🎉 Ross was amazing
At the end of the intro I expected someone to pipe in, "NOOOO, Not Jazz!"
I can’t wait to see Rob GM’ing or playing again some time!
Great stuff ❤🎉
Ross's college-student quest-giver sounds like Gussy Finknottle from Jeeves & Wooster. Iykyk
So some rule clarifications. In narrative simple don't cost actions and spells use Lore unless explicitely noted otherwise in knack
I enjoyed this to the utmost! Just great...
I love this. Bravo
what a cast. all stars.

A great table!!

Is there a video on why players built their characters as they did? I understand the how but not the why

Added note who knew this rpg existed another Cthulhu system to learn and not find friends for lol .
It's new and and a lot of thought went into getting board gamers to convert to the ttrpg if that helpful
