A più di due anni dall'inizio della guerra Russo-Ucraina, ci riuniamo per discutere se sia ancora opportuno sostenere attraverso l'invio di armi il fronte difensivo ucraino contro l'invasione putiniana. Sul fronte dei favorevoli ne parleranno Pietro Borsari, portavoce di +Europa Modena e membro direzione dei Radicali Italiani, ex segretario Azione Modena fuoriuscito dopo la fine del terzo polo. Tra i pacifisti; Marco Odorici, storico esponente di Potere al Popolo a Casalecchio di Reno, candidato sindaco alle ultime elezioni e consigliere comunale di Prc per tre legislature.
Sono d'accordo col rappresentante di +Europa e in generale con chi sostiene la necessità dell'invio di armi all'Ucraina!

Questo pietro borsali è totalmente impreparato o in malafede spero per il bene del paese che non abbia ne lui ne il suo partito che non ho mai sentito il potere di mettere in atto le follie di cui ha parlato. Laltro signore più preparato, realistico dice molte cose corrette ma io non voterei nessuno di loro soprattuto il giovane che sembra essersi appena svegliato da un brutto sogno anzi lo terrei ben lontano da posti decisionali perché di un incompetenza estremamente pericolosa

Personalmente sono abbastanza neutrale sull'argomento, nel senso che trovo armare l'ucraina un gesto relativamente nobile (Se garantito che l'ucraina usi le armi solo a scopo difensivo) ma trovo che il modo migliore per forzare una pace fra i due stati sia una forma più pesante di diplomazia con i russi, più sanzioni e politiche di isolamento per la russia putiniana fino alla fine della guerra. Il punto di vista neoliberale di Borsari mi lascia un po' di amaro in bocca e il non intervenzionismo di Odorici per decisione del partito non mi fa stare meglio. Trovo l'intera guerra in Ucraina un conflitto alimentato artificialmente dagli interessi economici e geopolitici di entrambi i paesi e rifiuto l'idea che un Ucraina post guerra debba allinearsi con nessuno dei due schieramenti in quanto questo favorirebbe in primis lo schieramento "vincitore" e poi gli ucraini che hanno visto i propri cari morire e le proprie abitazioni (e paesi) distrutti.
I side with Pietro on this, but find his liberal and Putin obsessed spin he put on this a bit cringe.
Ukraine isn't just muh democracy and Russia isn't just muh Putin - it's more complex than that. It basically is the defense of an ethnically homogenous nation of Europeans versus a multi-ethnic, antifascist and imperialist horde. There's a good reason a sizeable portion of _genuine_ nationalists side with Ukraine, me included - once you realize what Russia *REALLY* is like, you'll never want to support them ever again. There are *millions* of Muslims and Africans inside Moscow and St. Petersburg alone, more even than in countries like France and the U.K.. Under Putin, tens if not over 100 new statues dedicated to Lenin of all people have been erected and the government supports all kinds of Antifa and Communist groups openly. During the invasion, tanks were also driving around with USSR flags on their APC's and tanks. Lastly, the nationalist scene in Russia was brutally opressed in 2010 and genuine nationalists like Tesak were put in prison, tortured and even a certain word I can't mention because the censors would go into overdrive. The remaining nationalists that aren't jailed, fled to Ukraine of all places or still risk being arrested or attacked on the street.
Also, keep this in mind: if Putin would miraculously disappear tomorrow, it wouldn't be the end of Russia as we know it and its policies - it's the whole house of cards that needs to come down. For Europe to live, the Russian Federation must *cease to exist.*
Bit of a rant, but this is something that matters a lot to me and I wish the current government would do more than just send meagre packages, like what northwest European and the Baltic nations are doing already. Ciao!
I'm not really sure what your point is...Putin is very hardly close to the values of anti-fascism, especially if we are talking about the socialist heritage of Russia and other former socialist countries. I'm not sure from where you have taken your stats but as of 2021 Moscow still is a russian and almost certainly orthodox majority city, with the largest declared ethnic group being kyrzigs that still are far FAR less than russians. Your take on the construction of atleast 100 new Lenin statues is a bit odd considering that since the collapse of the USSR Russia has tore down almost a thousand of those statues. I partially agree with you when it comes to Tesak, he was tortured and killed without a fair trial, but that doesnt excuse the fact that there are proves that Tesak and his wider group have previously collaborated with both the Kremlin and the Russian Mafia (So not sure about the "genuine" part of his neonazism). Furthermore the CPRF being essentially the second largest party in russia is nothing more than a puppet of the Kremlin that forcefully incorporated all other splinter socialist parties and organizations and that has pretty much derailed away from its socialist ideals and that has been generally condamned by other socialist intellectuals in russia itself as such. The current state of Russia's politics is dominated by Nationalism as an instrument for the Oligarchical class of Putin's to remain afloat. I couldnt really check if your statement about russian tanks using soviet flag was true but just as i stated reguarding the CPRF it wouldnt surprise me if Putin's adopting soviet nostalgia as a way to bolster his ranks especially among the people that lived under the soviet regime and that idolize it.
