Thanks for being a good ambassador for the sport Kyle. Wish every rider would be as considerate of others they encounter out on the trail.

When I see horses on the trail I immediately shut off the bike and remove my helmet. Wait for the horse riders to acknowledge you and when they're clear, then go on your way. Just FYI for all the ridding BRAAAP brothers out there!

Same here. Grew up with horses. A lot of bikers have no effing clue or just don't care.

I have a new 22 KTM 250 XC witch I had to up the spring in the back. 210 pounds with helmet and boots with Thor roost protector. Spring is rated for up to 230 gives me about 20 pounds of carrying stuff if I get a vest. Should be good. 🙂I'm new at this sport and turned 52 so its like learning to ride a bike again. Thanks for your videos they help.

Only thing I carry on my upper body is my hydration pack attached to my chest protector, all my tools and what not I carry in a hip pack to keep the weight low, much easier on the body and helps reduce fatigue.

Carrying tools or anything hard and maybe pointy in a vest?
1 crash of the wrong sort those tools can and have broken bones. I had one chest/back/shoulder protector, and it had square shaped attachment points , dumb idea. I flipped off a log and crack went 2 ribs next to that square piece of plastic.
Tools and things next to your body, is asking to hurt yourself.......................Some wolfman side bags put everything at the back and outta the way.

OMG you are the safety officer. Ok guys, you can't have a beer and no sharp objects. Dude, side bags would last about 2 minutes where I ride. Get ripped right off or drag you down with em. You must ride the 4 wheeler trails.
