    Samsung has improved Samsung Reminders app over the years and is now integrated into its whole Samsung ecosystem. We, busy people, have too many things to look after, that's why we use reminders app. Creating and setting reminders should be easy and seamless, so we don't even need to think about how to set a reminder. In this video I will show you how to easily create and edit reminders using Samsung digital assistance, Bixby, and how to create reminders using galaxy watch and on our phone. Without doing anything Samsung will seamlessly synchronise all our reminders across our Samsung galaxy mobile, galaxy tablet and galaxy watch.
    I have used lots of To-Do List apps like “Remember the Milk”, “Anydo”, and “Google Keep”. Eventually, I still gravitate back to the newly improved Samsung Reminders app. It’s not just because of the app and the user interface (UI) enhancement, it about how Samsung has embedded it natively across its ecosystem. We can even manage reminders easily on our watch.
    Why I did not say the full phase "Hi Bixby!"?
    It's because I did not want to trigger Bixby on your device as you watch my video.

    I'm looking into buying a smartwatch only for the reminders. As a Samsung smartphone user I'm leaning towards Samsung smartwatch because of the overall integration but I am not happy that I will have to charge it daily or once every two days. Anyhow, great video. I do have a question tho. If I set all my reminders in the calendar, will they appear on the watch face the same way like the remi ders from the reminder app do? Also, I will be having around 10 reminders minimum every day, how would that appear on the watch face as I take it that the text of the reminder would overlap with other reminders being that there would be so many of them. Thanks in advance for the reply.

    • @SkyPerspective
      @SkyPerspective  Год назад

      Hi Miljan If you are only considering Samsung watches, then unfortunately you will need to charge them everyday or every other day. There are other brands like TicWatch where they are designed for long battery life.
      For Samsung watch interface, your calendar reminders will appear as a notification, or you can go into the calendar app on the watch to see the entries. We can navigate by swapping and scrolling through the long list of entries, clicking on one to see the details of a single entry, and use back to go back to the list. I hope this make sense.

      @@SkyPerspective Thank you for your polite response. I will be looking forward to your Bixby video.
      A bit of appropriate music at the beginning and end is okay. When someone is talking it is never okay. Watching other tech RUclipsrs with a high volume of subscribers and viewers notice none play music. Example, Dotto Tech, Marques Brownlee, Unboxed therapy, Thao Huynh, and a gazillion others. Watch a TED presentation, music never played. All those presenters want their viewers concentrating on their presentation, not fighting music. As I mention to friends creating videos with music, "during your next business meeting, client meeting, when the speaker begins talking turn up some music. The participants will become miffed and demand the music is turned off."

    • @SkyPerspective
      @SkyPerspective  3 года назад +1

      Hi Ric, that is so true. Thanks for teaching me all these. I am definitely more mindful with the music volume and selections now. Selecting the right music is also the slowest part of my work flow producing the video, so I might as well do without.

    • @SkyPerspective
      @SkyPerspective  11 месяцев назад

      Haha, the reason is because the watch 5 is not really geared for productivity. I am using the watch 5 now and without the my day watch face, we don't get much calendar schedule features. I am enjoying the watch 5 controlling my smart home lights and air con using smartthings, if you regard that as "productivity". It's on my wrist so I pretty much control my whole house anywhere I am.

    The samsung reminders app is horrible and the worst thing about it is not allowing more customization and I can't figure out an easy way to stop the alert when it's on my wrist with a simple button put push. The default when pushing the button is to pause, minutes later you're disturbed again. They should allow you to choose, or allow the top button to stop the alert and bottom button pause.

    • @SkyPerspective
      @SkyPerspective  Год назад

      Try changing the alert style. We can set the alert style to be light, medium or strong. Depending on the version of Samsung reminders app you are using, this can be found in individual reminders or in the app settings. I do agree Samsung App has a lot of improvements to make, but the native app integration with galaxy watch is really convenient.
