Yes, I agree. One thing great about making RUclips videos is they become a journal for my tech journey. Looking back at a headphone video that I made 4 years ago gave me that same exact feeling of what you have described. Technology advances fast, and I believe EV has lots of room to innovate and improve.

It's been a while since I bought this monitor so I am not sure. If I remember correctly, I believe it comes with one USB-C to USB-C cable only, no HDMI cable.

according to Dell website, no hdmi cablem only usb-c to usb-c

1) mine doesn't make any warning sound, it only blinks the yellow indicator. 2) It only give a subtle steering wheel virbration for the lane keep assist. Overall, the newer updates have quiet down all these warning because there were a lot of user complain they are too sensitive. You should have tried the 2023 version when I got my Seal. The ADAS is like having panic attack, warnings going off all the time. The second update in Feb/March 2024 after I got my car quiet it down a lot, and perhaps too much for your liking.

The noise canceling on these earbuds are like non-existence. To really feel it and test if it works, perhaps try it near a constant noise such as beside an air-con fan or laptop fan or something. It should be able to cancel these very basic constant noise.

We cannot because this is not a multi device mouse.

I am not sure, but based on my research, it should work. Just make sure you confirm BYD Song Plus works with wired apple carplay, as that is the interface carlinkit uses. Any car that supports wired apple carplay, this carlinkit should work in theory.

I'm not a 100% sure. My guess is yes you should be able to use that. Hopefully someone who has used that before can comment on this thread.

If the Uber driver app is an android app, then in theory, you should be able to install that. Carlinkit can install apps from google Play Store as well as third party app. However, the user interface of the app may not look nice or may not work on a landscape screen.

@showkatchowdhury6367 pretty sure byd doesn't allow Apple car play ( carlinkit ) to run in portrait mode. So your uber app on carlinkit can only run landscape. Hope this is not too confusing.

For tyre rotation?

Not sure and I didn't ask. I am good with using home charger. Slow charging is good for the battery and is cheap and convenient, no need to wait at charging station.

@ just wondering, here in Thailand my dealer won’t do the 20k service until i hit 19k . I am 18.8k and should hit 19k next week around 20 days after my 1 year anniversary !! This is unusual and not too bad for me but some people don’t do 10k in a year, i wonder what they will do then c??

@Andydwyer99 oh I see. It does make sense they cannot do the 12 months 20000km service too early. Have you asked for a wheel rotation at 10000km point? I wonder if the user manual for Thailand BYD Seal recommends doing wheel rotation at 10,000 km.

Yes I am aware we can rotate tyres at home, but for the price, it's not worth my hassle, and I normally like to do wheel balancing together with wheel rotation. The reason why I bring back to the dealer instead of tyre shop is because I am not sure which tyre shop is good with EV tyres. I know lots of tyre shops are good with ICE cars, not so sure about EVs. The NVH on EVs can be quite a different compared to ICE vehicles.

@@g00nther yes, but i mean resetting them so they actually monitor the correct position, i believe it needs some special equipment to do.
