I've never seen a drone put to a better use. Gorgeous.
i still dont believe its a drone. looks like helicopter taking them
@@BuckingHorse-Bull But how could he afford a helicopter to fly where he is hiking in video after video? And it can't be stock footage as the van often appears. What he may do is slow down the tape.
@@blessOTMA im truly doubting that he meant that literally
Cool mountaineering and even cooler drone footage 🎥🏔️👏
Very nice but did you get permit for flying drone?
If anyone is curious about the currency he found, it is from Nepal, minted back when the country had a king (I'd guess around the 1990s).
I still have some from when I was in Nepal in 1998-99 . I wonder if person who put it there was from Nepal and what they thought of the Canadian mountains ..though they are small compared to Himalayas they are still impressive
@@recentisland1513 It's more likely that they were a traveler given they scribbled "murdered king" as trivia under the king's portrait. I am from Nepal myself, have never been to Canada, but having followed Foresty's journey over the past year and I agree that the mountains there are majestic. The Himalayas are beautiful in their own right, Everest is usually crazy difficult because of the number of people attempting it but the other ranges are impressive too (you can check some out here: raonline.ch/images/np/graph/np_himalprof15001.jpg ), I remember Foresty mentioning how he'd love to tackle some of them in an earlier video.
@@SwapnilBhatta07 I haven't been to Nepal in 20 years now but I absolutely love that country and the people. I, of course, did touristy stuff there ( ABC, Helambu , Chitwan) but I also have Nepalese friends and have been to places where tourist never go .. I spent some time in villages in Surkhet district too with a friend and their family.
Probably Canadian Mt Everest climbers from Canmore not far from here. They train in the Rockies or guide in all over the Purcells and Rockies.

After watching more drone content I have to say you're an exceptional drone pilot/photographer. So many drone shots are so stiff and mechanical, and yours really flow. Big sweeping pans over a summit, or twisting down a logging road behind the van. And, all to great music! Thanks for another one Foresty!
Thank you!
You don’t actually think he’s controlling it well driving I hope. The drone has a feature where in can just follow you around
@@CANControlGRAFFITI he's said in videos before he runs on manual mode. He tried the auto follow on a bike ride and it smashed into a tree. Not sure if that's always the case, but that's not for me to speculate either
@@68Squid boring story
I completely agree with this. I wonder if there's a way to take ultra high res drone shots and sell them? Both video and stills? I honestly think a huge catalogue of that could earn money. It seems like most of the work is already being done, namely getting there! Who else is so committed? There are multiple ways to market it, either open on the internet or as a portfolio of stock shots. Sell a Foresty Forest desktop background pack if nothing else! A more serious drone and camera combo might be required, but it might be a worthy investment!
A day without Foresty is like a day without adventures, food, and laughter. Thanks for sharing all that I could not do without you.
The man, the myth, the foresty forest
👏👏👏
Ayye you might be onto something here
Forest, the more I watch, I see that you’ve become an excellent filmmaker and storyteller. I’m excited to see what the future holds for you. Edit: the ice cream Easter egg 🤣
I don’t know what to say....you are an incredible inspiration for anybody wishing to love their best most authentic life. You have helped me get through Covid and set goals....I will also thank Mr Wallis as I had no idea who you were when he showed your pic on his magic bus! I have almost completed your video catalogue and wow ....what an experience you have provided. A sincere thank you Foresty.
Thanks Michael!
Wow. I don't know about anyone else but I don't have the words to express how beautiful and inspirational this is. Thanks Mr. Foresty.
I think you should make a calendar to sell of all your best shots of you hiking
But how on Earth would
The Lone Wolf
pick which pics?
Or pics of him since hes cute
Calendar with dates on each summit, with hours and difficulty.
Your footage is second to NONE!!!! Thank you for your vids young man, I feel as though I climb mountains vicariously through you, and gawd knows, I imagine that I eat better watching you cook
Thank you 😊
I was very worried the last few days concerning the wildfire news out of British Columbia (re:missing people) so I'm glad to see you post a video. We all watch your videos and start to worry like a creepy mother who's never met you and never will.
Isn't that the truth.!!!
The new drone is quality! The shots are amazing!
Your content is the best. Just a fine balance of familiarity and new scenery. Seems like nothing is more trouble free than being out there.
This man literally had a small avalanche happen and said I’m good with it, you sir are made of steel
For every time you change a flat tire the flat tire fairy leaves you an ice cream on your wheel. Bah! The legends they have in Canada!
Sometimes it's comforting to be inside safe and listen to the rain outside.
What a feast for the eyes! The views were stunning. Thank you for sharing this with us Forest❤
Thank you so much for taking us to soar in the mountains. Places we would never experience otherwise. Love your videos.
😂 Simon climbs up an icy 11,000 foot mountain. 😂
😂 I don’t even want to get off the couch to go walk to check my mail. 😂
Great drone footage; that new machine is a keeper. Remember... only you can prevent Forestry Forest-fires 😉 stay safe!
"What did he write?? You'll have to come up here to find out." Lol amen brother.
I'm sure that drone footage has stepped up a notch - looks amazing!
Ohhhhhh forestry got a new drone...love the opening shots my gosh
I miss hearing the sound of thunder like that.
@@K1OIK LOL
Foresty Forest is the GOAT!
Those scenes from above are just spectacular. Best if you watch it in the highest resolution. Canada is indeed a beautiful country.
Golden BC fellow travellers wholly supports the forest adventure and always wishing his adventures a safe return home
Wherever he lays his hat 🎩
There are no words to express the beauty of those Mt's. Thank you soo much.
Yeah that secret waterfall is missing a Dr. Hannah alright.
Kira is better than her
@@wineinbeautifulplaces1200 All she did was use FF to help built her shitty van
The view of that waterfall at 6:38 literally made me gasp. Talk about breathtaking. You are lucky, to be able to see some of the most beautiful places on Earth, first hand. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
How do you not gasp for breath whilst climbing? 😭 I would be pure winded! Having full blown conversation whilst casually hiking a mountain! GOAT!
A mountain GOAT! 😂
Nice to see the bike out today.
This man should be sponsored by literally every product he uses! These drone shots are breathtaking!
Nice listening to the thunder rolling in..Good to see you safely back at the mobile station..
You make mountain climbing look so easy. Even one handed. When I'm in mountains I wonder so often of their individual names. I admire the fact that you know the name of every mountain you see.
Glad you were back in the foresty forest when that storm was gathering intensity. Even on a walk in the park in the city yesterday late afternoon I didn't want to stray out into the open when that lightning was rolling in.
is it just me or does Foresty's video content get better and better every video.. awesome stuff foresty. thank you!!
It's not just you
I was thinking the same
Hey man, I love your drone footage…But I also want you to be safe! If you need to retreat from a mountain due to thunder, don’t feel obligated to get drone footage. We love your videos, but don’t forget that we will always understand if you prioritize your own safety before footage. You do an excellent job, keep up the great work man 👍
You deserve way more attention and subscribers than you have. No bull crap, amazing camera work, badass mountain climbing, amazing ingenuity with all of the stuff you make in your van, chill guy, fun cooking. Love it.
The Purcell's are breathtaking! Stay safe and keep these videos coming! 💕✌️🏞️🇨🇦
I don’t think you could ever go wrong with a couple solar panels, specially going into the deep woods you do.
I totally thought he had solar and that that's one of the ways he charged his battery.
@@MusicaNLAlma he did on his mini van, but ended up using his DC-to-DC charger more and more; short days and bad weather meant really low charges from solar. Eventually when he switched to this van he just did a larger alternator and charger, but no solar.
@@68Squid thx so much fornthr clarification. I realized he had it in the prior car after I posted this comment. Love Foresty Forest....need to catch up. I stopped watching for a bit when he was building the van. thx again! :)
Foresty Forest’s day off is a 46 km hike! You’re something else. In the best possible way 😁
When Foresty Forest pops up it’s time to sit back and enjoy an amazing adventure as a voyeur. Thank you for taking us on your adventures. Cheers form down under in Aussie.
Drone imagery is excellent. Well done. Keep cool
Awesome drone views of the mountain tops. Reminds me of Lord of the Rings. Watch those Orcs. 🥶
TY for the breathtaking views Forest SO GLACIAL BLUE and that water was so crystal clear like liquid air. Just beautiful to watch
Foresty! My heart took a jump when you had that snow coming away behind ya ! Once again epic drone footage and amazing content !
Really appreciate the ride along!
Greetings from Kentucky! Just wanted to thank you for the great footage...just amazing shots all around. I honestly don't understand people who climb mountains...but man, I'm glad you do! Thanks for taking us places that I love to see but never want to go :)
I just got back from lake superior provincial park, which is a beautiful spot. Seeing the west coast on your videos makes me realize that Canadas natural beauty will always continue to blow me away.
Beautiful Purcells😍
Handsome Foresty 🤗🌱💙
Thunder down the mountain ❤
Your videos just keep getting better ⭐️. Yours is my favorite 👍🏻 RUclips channel. But, am I the only one who worries about Forest on these solo climbs?
Another great one. The drone shots are awesome.
The music at the beginning sounds like 80s John Carpenter, straight out of "Escape from New York" in 1981 😁
Thought the same thing..Of course I had to Shazam it. Antidote X. Van Sandano in case anyone cares
@@MegaMilleri Thanks for finding that!
@@MegaMilleri thank you
Aaron Ralston followed by the Dr. Hannah comment. Love all the little humorous nuggets he drops in these videos. 😀
Be safe Forest every time you go out in the wilderness and you don't have a satellite phone to call for help when an accident happens it can be very precarious!! Thanks for sharing the awesome panaromic drone videos of Canadian mountains, trails and waterfalls !!
This drone work.... Man no words can say enough thanks to you for skills n effort.
Foresty, you kept us going during Covid. Thank you Beautiful mountains, great cooking and electronics. You are a world class guy. Our best to the Crockpot planter. 🪴
Thank you FF for bringing such beauty into my home..
In the opening introduction drone footage, I love the effect of the van moving in one direction while the river water moves in the opposite direction.
Powerful visually.
Really stoked to see an old currency from my country. Those are very rare nowadays. 1 Rupee from the monarchy days. Just really great video as usual.
Wow Foresty. Your new drone takes AWESOME videos. Looks great on my Samsung laptop with 4k UHD screen.
And now my watch begins! Thank you for another video Foresty. I don't even have to wait to watch it, I know it's gonna be awesome already! Perfect timing! 👍🏻
Love the sound of that storm. Thanks again Foresty. Cheers!
Just so you know, I dont even like hiking but Ive watched all your videos and rewatch them all the time. Youre great at what you do!
Love the wheelwell icecream!!
Man! Epic drone footage! Awesome!
Feet issues.... trick from my British army days..
Used Mint foot powder to soak up any excess moisture, take clean dry socks with powder already inside for when ya feet do get wet or sweaty. Use the highest percentage Aloe Vera gel to stop them cracking.
I hiked in the Sangre de Christo mtns in New Mexico and a storm came up quick. My hair stood straight up and my metal frame on my pack started vibrating. I dump the pack and started running down the trail. That thunder reminded me of that trek.
Wow, that ending was scary, glad you got home in time.
Drone shots r spot on ,funny doc hanna wasn't there ,that would be the lotto ticket for sure ,she's a hottie, be cook her a meal ,she its rabbit food, have u seen Steve's last ,funny ,beautiful wife cooked salad ,look at his look ,priceless
Your one of the only lucky few that will have seen those mountain face to face, keep on going man ,we love it !
The mountains are beautiful.
The magic continues! Cheers Foresty!!
I bet Foresty wrote Honda Civic on the note.
Great throwback comment🤣
@@SweetiePieTweety I don't get it.

Magnificent scenery. Love the mountain names!!! Who says Canadians don't have a sense of humor! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Being from South Africa it’s great to see these places from a different point of view.
Wicked intro yo
Feeling kinda ripped off of a 🍤Shrimp Stir Fry now🤔funny how Expectations get worked up🤯😂
🍻✌🏽💙🙏
Haha, yeah it seems i owe RUclips a shrimp stir fry now 😄
Those are some of the most majestic shots I have ever seen of the Rockies . Absolutely brilliant . Your short "walks" reminds me of a book by the English travel writer Eric Newby called "A Short Walk in the Hindu Kush " which was of course a huge understatement , like your daily hikes up to 10,000 foot peaks .
Watching after the game what a better way to celebrate America 🇺🇸
But but but…I wanna see the shrimp stir fry…
Yeah, me, too! lol
I can't imagine cooking inside the van in that type of heat.
But considering BC already lost one small town and Kamloops is got problems south of it. I understand the fire bans with the high heat they are getting.
I'd be eating sandwiches !!!!
And this might sound crazy but Amazon has Pet Cooling Mats.
I'd get one for myself If I was van living. Pet or no Pet.
Take Care and be safe Foresty.
Me too
Me also , c shrimp stir fry …with what
Super sick videography my man! keep that up.
14:27 I can't imagine the joy getting back into the van at that point
FF, you need a deeper frying pan. You come so close in making a huge mess for yourself that I have noticed in many videos when you are cooking. Thanks for great adventures and taking us along for the hike and climb. I would never see the places and mountains you are allowing us to see. Thank you so much. I am a big fan.
This is definitely one of your better videos. What was the the temps on top the Mountains. Do you recall. Nicely Done FF 🇨🇦👍
Thanks Darrell. It was probably about 25 Celsius on Mt Peter. And maybe 15 Celsius on Mt Atlung with the storm blowing in.
You should grab a small folding table and cook outside sometimes instead of being hunched over inside
@tom allen ya, they aren't out all day everyday...
13:27 thats crazy....almost right in the middle of the screen you see what almost looks like a face of an old man wearing a brown and white robe with his arms around both the mountains. Thats eerie and so cool!
Loved the blue heart lake at the alpine cabin you had visited in July of another year. So awesome to be along on your hikes this way. Glad I saw you with HD forest service Steve.
Knowing you have hiked/climbed those other peaks I wish the drone footage had an overlay of where you went. Like the kids in the family circus comic strip had the dotted line where he had been.
protip: tire chain sets on amazon cost less in the summer
I order all my chains from Amazon. Derp
Thrills, chills, great food...the feller always posts some inspirational material for sure.
All the best to you Mister Forest!
That is a Nepali 🇳🇵Rupee you found there. I am originally from Nepal, and I got quite excited when you pulled that out of the register.
Dang, just sat down on the toilet, perfect timing for a new Foresty!
💩
May the sounds of running water and air frying inspire a smooth dump.
Too much information 🤣
Are you done yet?
@Shawn D I can't stand toilet rushers. Just let us take it slow and enjoy our time...
Just started. I need that intro in VR!
Nothing better than a thunder storm in the woods.
Trying to come up with new words to describe the beauty of your drone shots and the thrill of watching you climb but all I can think of at this point after watching the climb and the climax of the thunder is that the 56 who gave thumbs down to this magnificent video must be lacking in visual sight or extremely hard to please or just plain envious. #1 best content on youtube.
The Purcells mountains bring back memories from your earlier videos. Crocky days. ❤️
Too good the drone shots turned out fantastic
When I heard the thunder all I could think was run forest run 😃
Colossal thunder! Thanks for arranging that for us! LOL
