I have a question for you, when you have a piece of content you publish is it better to show the publish date or the updated date if you updated it for ranking, so will it rank better with the publish date with age or the updated date if you updated it recently.

Google takes the information it needs from the page source. Instead of machines, you should see what is useful to your audience, not the search engine
