Hi Araceli, very nice. Like that you jump in and try new stuff. For that uneven ledge, you could have used a chisel and hammer to even it out. I’ve done that before on my porch.
I love this idea! My front porch is an eyesore and the previous owners had an ugly red carpet over it which came off the steps. I was thinking of painting it but this looks so much better. I'm definitely trying this. Crossing my fingers it lasts.
So far what you are doing is amazing what you are doing and I love it
I hope it sticks cuz I love it! What a cool idea. You come up with the best ideas! My favorite is still your shiplap wall! Girlfriend I love that wall! Thanks for the coolest ever ideas!
We just put the waterproof vinyl planking down in our two and a half bathrooms and I am really loving it. Actually, your gray planks look like my bathroom. A friend put the waterproof vinyl planking in her kitchen, then it flooded and not one drop went down to the ceiling in her finished basement. I feel this is going to do great on your porch. Good luck.
I always forget you live in Oregon too! I LOVE peel and stick vinyl flooring! I even use 4ft grey planks to protect my white IKEA desk top. You can use them for everything, they're frickin awesome! TYFS! 💘💘💘
Thank you! 💕 Where do you live? I know I love the flooring. I did it in my bathroom and also have a marble look vinyl on my craft desk.
@@AraceliChanDIY I'm in Milwaukie. (Clackamas Co.) Aren't you east? Correct me if I'm wrong, Pendleton area? 💘💘💘
Please keep us up to date after a couple of months to see how is holding up with the different type of weather love it
Is there an update on this ?
It looks great!! Several years ago we lived in a 1958 mobile home & my son put some of those peel & stick tiles in the bathroom & used something underneath to make sure they didn’t come up...it worked!! BTW, I’m also in Oregon!!
Looks great!! I used peel and stick tiles from Dollar General on my cement floor in my basement and it flooded a few days later. The tiles stayed stuck to the floor so it should last through rain but heat may be your biggest factor. Good luck with them.
I hope it sticks because it's a great idea. Hope your next video will show how you decorate the porch!
I love it!!! I been wanting to redo our floor since you did your bathroom with those vinyl panels! Great job 💜
Looks great to me! I love the experiment projects. That's how we all learn. I'm currently going to experiment using peel and stick tile on front beam of pergola that's in poor shape. Only $30 for the tile. Now have to figure out if I need anything else for backing. I think I'll use finishing nails for added support since it'll be vertical. I wonder too how it will hold up in the AZ sun. I'm thinking only for short term fix. The entire think really needs replacing.
Hi, I'm thinking of doing this for my balcony! How did it last for you?
Love the way it turned out. I would like to know how its been holding up so far?
Mee too
I have put tiles in my apartment and on the edges I've caulk it, til this day 👍thumbs up to me, and for the tile's to stay I've used E6000 lol. Hey it has worked lol. Like what you did looks good 👍
I might have to do that if it comes up 😂
It's been almost a year since you did the peel and stick flooring on your entryway. How has it held up? Are you still happy with it? We live in a much more humid environment than you guys, so I don't know that it would work here, but I'd like to know how it has worked there.
Omg that looks so good! I have some flooring left over from when I did the floor in my office I might try to get creative and see if I can get it to stick 😂
Looks good. Might I suggest you paint your cream colored walls white so that the walls match?.
Thanks! But I’m not going to paint my entire house so that it matches a removable floor lol
Nice idea. Th u for sharing. What kind of trim you used? How did the floor hold up in rain? Did it stain? Wondering what you did with the exposed step area. Please share your thoughts👍🏼
I love it. It’s beautiful. My sister lives in Portland, OR. She is a state counselor and she and her partner perform in area coffee shoppes. They have for over 25 years!! I visited your state and love it.
I sure hope this project worked for you. I’m worried when it rains. I think I can pull up eventually but I’m hoping NOT because you worked so hard. Enjoy your new flooring, I pray it stays and love the wall, it is screaming NAUTICAL
Thank you for posting this! I'm in Springfield and I'm doing the same thing.
Girl I hope it holds up for you. Maybe since it won't get much traffic it will do fine.
We have 4 seasons here in north GA too. Hot, Humid, bugs, & humid.....lol
Keep the vlogs coming. 😃
I would love to know if this lasted! Looking at doing this on my back covered porch.
Yes it has! My very recent video shows what it looks like now
Any way you can chisel off that lifted part of concrete to make it level honey??? What a great idea. Our entryway has little pebble's glued down everywhere, ugh. Some pebble's have loosened and left us with bald spot's. I'm looking for a way to change it up. Your idea's are amazing. I'm in Florida not sure what to use. I was thinking of using tile. What are your thoughts???
I paused at second 0.07 to stare at the before&after pics.. It looks GREAT and CLEAN! thAnks to your husband for helping you... A little bit! 😁
Looks great as all your projects always do. You have such great ideas for your subscribers. Thank you so much - from Tennessee !!!!
Thanks for sharing! We have an enclosed porch (florida room) and the floor is cement. I've been wondering if peel and stick would work on it, bc it's kind of cold/hot depending on the temp bc of the windows. This gives me hope! 💜
Do you have an update video? I really want to try this for my balcony 🤗
No updated video, but I highly suggest it. Mine still looks great 👍🏼
Awesome! Do u have an updated video on how it has held up?
It looks so great!.. I do like the Home Improvement videos... seems like I've been doing a lot of that around my house lately..kiss to the baby...
I wonder how well this flooring would hold up in my utility room? I do have quit a bit of traffic on that concrete floor.
I just love your hair it looks great with a lightet color
Thank you Toni!
I’m soooooo excited you are doing this cus I was wondering about this. I guess it’s too early to ask how it’s going. It looks great. I hope it lasts. How’s it going so far?
Hey girl! It is actually holding up pretty well and it has been in the high 90s for a while. Aside from the delivery man leaving his dang shoe prints on it, it's looking pretty fab!
I love the idea hope it stays put for you I never used those before
How are these floors holding up? we have a covered patio like yours.
Still there!
Araceli I love all you beautiful ideas girl thank you for sharing....you motivate me to do so many different things God bless you and your familia ! 💜🥰💜
Very nicely done. Your porch looks great.
I'm in Idaho.. I dont think you are too far from me. I need a map. Lol. Floor looks awesome!!!
How did this turn out in the winter? I was told this wasn't good to do because it can crack in the cold.
How is it holding up?
Wow!! What a great idea. Looks great. Keep them coming. Love watching your creative video's.
Howd it hold up?a year later
Hi! I have been thinking about trying this on my back porch. It has been about a year since you posted this...how is the tile holding up? Thanks!!
Cool idea. Keep us updated on how it's working!
Very nice, hope it stays down too. Thanks for sharing
Looking forwards to the finished project! What a fun way to jazz up a entryway! I'm in Beaverton Oregon maybe I'll see in Home Depot / Lowe's or a DT some day and say hi!
Looks great can't wait to see the finished product. 🤗👍 greetings from California 🌞
Looks really good! Let us know how it holds up with the weather.
Awesome job very creative love watching your channel
Did this stay?
Can you do this for the steps as well? Love it! Thanks!
It did stay. It could probably work on stairs too!
Thanks so much!
I miss you saying "Do it your damn self"! That is the reason I kept watching you. You had me hooked the first video I watched. Whoever was upset needs to get over it. LOL
My thoughts exactly!!!
How did it turn out!?
Still looking great!
I like the way it came out! It makes the front porch look pretty! tfs! : )
Did you use the entire box ?
How's the floor holding up
It turned out great. Thanks for sharing. Yes, more videos like this.
Thank you for watching!
Not sure if it will peel off over the test of time ???
Hasn’t so far!
little, little bit of clear gorilla glue on the tiny bits, just wet them a teensy bit so the glue activates properly.
the other gorilla glues foam up a bit.
It looks great. I hope it works out. Great idea. Tfs ☺
After 1 year I till look good ??
I love this look and pray that it stays down!!!
It turned out really cute!!
Will you show pictures with the trim? I love this idea. It turned out great!
So I bought the trim and it looks super tacky! So we didn’t add it... thinking plan B! Thank you!
@@AraceliChanDIY oh no! Btw im a new subscriber after this showed up in my newsfeed. Glad i found you!
hi! wondering how it has held up? looking into cheap options for my back enclosed porch. got 3 pups going in and out all the time
It’s still looking awesome!
HOW LONG DID IT LAST FOR? ANY FADING?
Oh gosh it's been up since whenever this video went up. Can't remember the year lol. There is the slightest bit of fading where the sun hits it directly. The sun hits that side of the house for most of the day, but not bad and it's still down!
Esoooooooo bravisisisimo. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🍀💪🏻
This came out awesome! I love it, Araceli!
How did it hold up outside?
Love it!! Thanks for sharing with us all!! So creative!❤️
You have really great ideas I just love you keep it coming
Let us know after a month how it's doing. Very interested.
This is amazing and I am so doing this!
yaaaay!! you both did a great job ..looking good :-)
is it still sticking to the floor? how do you manage the rain?
Yes it is! I haven't had too much of an issue with the rain as it's somewhat under a covered porch. We just had a severe windstorm that took out our tree and the flooring stayed put.
Great idea again girlfriend!!! You're one clever chic!😘💕🤗👍
Curious as to how this has held up for you?
Looks great, love the color
I'm also in Oregon...how did this hold up?
What part? It's holding up!
That looks really good!
Love love love it great job👍
Looks great! Make sure to keep us updated throughout the season's please😃
It looks so great!!!
I love this idea!!
Floor looks Great. Xoxo
Never would have thought about doing this! Great idea! Thank you for sharing!
,
Very cool never thought of this I'm gonna try (when I get in my own place lol)
So...how has it held up?
It is still down! There is very subtle discoloration on the front panels where the sun hits the most, but barely noticeable. Also, one end came up on one, I'm thinking because of the water from my sprinklers, but again you can't even tell!
I have the exact same flooring on my wall in my dining room. I say we have some great taste!! Lol.
It looks good. Thanks for sharing again. 😉
Did the flooring last??
Yes, it still looks great!
Could you pull it up if you're a renter???
Yes! You’ll just have to maybe scrub clean any leftover adhesive from the tiles :)
It looks good
Looks great good job
Just lovely
Aye Oregon love! Love your channel girl
Thank you!
It's been about 8 months, how has it been holding up?? 😊😊😊
Amazingly well! Mind you we had a windstorm that broke our huge tree in half and blew over our fence 😂
