The doctors told me I would be lucky to make it 8 years. 10 years after that I completed my thru-hike! That was 3 years ago and I'm still kicking. Be stubborn, fight, and fool them all! Best wishes to you and your family!!!

I was just thinking about you the other day. You are a good man. I will pray for you and your family. I have a friend that was told in 2011 that she had melanoma and it had gone to her lungs and she would not survive. Today, she is cancer free and still enjoying life. The path was hard, experimental procedures etc, so I won’t give up on you.

I was given less than 5% chance of lasting 3 months. Think I beat the odds. Am I cured? No, but i am alive, and have a truly good life that I LIVE. Secondly....I truly believe that stress feeds cancer while laughter kills it. I will pray for you both.

Chris, you have been on my mind a lot lately and I just wanted to let you know y'all are still in our prayers and we are sending positive thoughts your way every day. I didn't mention this before, but several years ago my father was diagnosed with stage four cancer and the doctor told him he should go home and get his affairs in order because he probably wouldn't live another year. Well, a few years ago my dad was reclassified from cancer patient to cancer survivor. He still visits MD Anderson on a regular schedule, but just once a year now, and his last checkup he came home cancer free. My dad is the most positive man I ever met and I think that's what has saved him. I hope you are remaining positive and that things are going better than when you made this video. Hoping to hear more from you. All the best, Don
Thank you. I am just leaving radiation treatment for both of my lungs. The tumor that they removed from me along with my left kidney was 4 pounds. Now they are working on my lungs. I truly believe that all the prayers are helping me
