I just found your channel today and your videos are such high quality content and super relatable ! I’m a fellow climber, I bullet journal too and I’m so glad to have found you !
I'm an ex-climber who has been doing Parkour the past couple years. It's been over 20 years, and I recently have been sort of thinking about getting back into it. I've watched a couple of your videos and you have inspired me to actually sign up for a bouldering class later this month. Keep up the good work! p.s. Looked in my old stuff and I still have my chalk bag, la sportiva climbing shoes, and SavOn adhesive waterproof tape (did they have climber tape back then?)
i just had my first session last night. thanks for all of these tips!! really good. didn't think about the bandaids, but yeah i can def see how that'd be helpful!
Cheralyn Yendall good tip! i have those in my bag mostly for after climbing- definitely made the mistake of climbing with band-aids on before. doesn’t really work!
Jennifer Langen you could also put on a band aid and on top some climbing tape so it doesn’t slip. Bc I know when your flapper is bleeding à but climbing tape isn’t so useful haha
How’s the fit in the heel for the So Ill shoes? I’m having the worst time finding more aggressive shoes. I’ve tried on three in person and returned another 5 I ordered online. Everything is too baggy in the heal and it’s soo frustrating.
Nice! Bergamot and sweet orange would pair wonderfully with the oils you already use :) Also a recommend for speeding up healing skin: 98% aloe vera gel mist. It's my go-to for places where band-aids tend to fall off.
Just a tip, if you regularly file down your callouses (NOT off, just down) it lessens your chance of getting flappers 😊
I always carry nail clippers and a nail file, in case of any chipped nails or any calluses that need attention :)

This feels like your cool big sister giving you tips. Love it!
I personally don’t recommend putting essential oils in your chalk. I tried it and it made my hands sweat a lot more that normal.
Don't use plasters for rips use climbing tape as plasters tend to slip and or general not good for climbing

Climbers tape fixes everything from cuts to shoes to backpacks and hiking poles 😁
PS - your hair is so cute like this. perfectly frames your face and just looks so light and open.

Must items besides gear,
Tape, Sanding block, nail clippers
You should measure your grip strength before and after months/years of practice. I hear that gets disproportionately strong for climbers!
Love your videos, what do you use to edit?
I like the effort that went into this video 🙂
I normally put my chalk bag in a plastic zip bag and it prevents the chalk to dirty all the stuff in my climbing bag 😉
I can't figure out what the secret is behind the Bobby pins. "If you know, you know".
It drives me crazy
For roaches bud

3 more months with the hang bar and you can make "crushing watermelon with my bare hands ASMR"
Thank you Kanye, Very cool!
$1 chalk?! No way. I wanted to try that out and looked online, but it's like $12-16 even on the Frank Endo site...
