When they stood for election, it was on the understanding that they would represent their constituents on ALL issues - not just those that cause them the least discomfort. If they cannot do that then they have no business being in the House. Hello Marina, thankyou for your post laying out exactly what it means to be a pregnant woman having to deal with today's NHS & their adoption of all the "woke" insanity agenda 😟 I have heard of many situations where NHS new rules made to protect men who want to pose as women have badly affected real women - one case where a woman having had a very serious operation requiring constant supervision had to vacate her single room for a "trans" person with far less serious issues, another where a woman having undergone cancer treatment was being investigated for refusing to use female pronouns for a man. It's extremely concerning in the NHS where women feel vulnerable, would naturally want any intimate care to be carried out by a woman, not by a man in a dress with a personality disorder ... the NHS has been overtaken ...we all need to write to our MPs as some will be onside and refuse to comply wherever possible. Labour passing the hot potato onto others is a technique they have perfected. Here in Wales the 20mph silliness, (which was decided on centrally), has now been shipped off to the local councils to sort out road by road (now that the LP has seen the unpopularity of their policy). They haven't got the balls to simply own up to a mistake and reverse the policy centrally. So now, each road across Wales has to be reassessed by each council - imagine the time and costs involved.

Here in Wales the 20mph silliness, (which was decided on centrally), has now been shipped off to the local councils to sort out road by road (now that the LP has seen the unpopularity of their policy). They haven't got the balls to simply own up to a mistake and reverse the policy centrally.
So now, each road across Wales has to be reassessed by each council - imagine the time and costs involved.
So, don't blame the governemnt, blame the sporting bodies. Labour cowards.

Nandy is not a bright politician, and trans women should not compete in women's categories, but the enforcement lies with sports' governing bodies, independent of national governments. All the government can do is express an opinion as enforcing rules in sports is outside their remit.

It is not fair or safe for biological men to compete in women's sports. If the government of the governing bodies can't get their act together and protect real women then they should refuse to compete if biological men are taking part.
It was pretty obvious to me that this sort of thing was going to happen when labour got voted in. People wanted a change from tories but didn’t think what sort of consequences there would be - gender he/she, immigration, taxes etc. To all who put their tick to labour don’t start moaning - you caused it!

Massive box ticking all round, for example the NHS say they do over 300 million blood tests each year of which 299.99 million give a negative result. Some maybe necessary but not this many. Then there are the numerous x-rays at dentists. How many of them are necessary? The vast majority of people are enduring these tests for the infinitesimal, mini, minority who could be judged without this over reaching, "Look how busy we are". Why are all men asked if they are pregnant, when instead, the mini minority of trans- men should be able to tell the doctor or nurse they were born female? What are the names of the people who thought up this question? Did they manage to restrain laughter at the time?

And why does everyone forget that there are many sports that have mixed gender teams...? tennis mixed doubles, badminton, volleyball has mixed teams ( I was on a mixed volleyball team for years we played over a men's height net for safety purposes.)
Right, just imagine how angry the men on mixed male-female teams (I'm thinking biathlon, the ski/target shoot sport) when all male teams decide they're "mixed."
Motor sport, equestrian where the engines and horses do the work men and women compete together .
It's mixed gender teams on both sides, not one competing against the other. It's all or nothing and i choose nothing. Women are women, men are men, trans is trans.
