- It's not the USA without the 4th of July & KABAR Knives helped us get there. Today they are an American Knife Icon. I will be reviewing for the first time my 1266 Modified Tanto and it did great. Loving the design and its versatility.

This is one of those knives I really want... Freaking love the blade shape ❤❤
Yeah I need me more KaBars
Did he just say Nuthing is ungripping? Haha!
That sand blast hose is tough stuff! I believe if I get one I'm taking that top guard off that's a great suggestion
It would make the grip for those types of things much better
Happy belated July 4th!
I have the 1245 & love it!
Thanks man....need me more KaBar
Wow… nice throwing. Sick knife
Grazie
Awesome knife, keep up the great video content man.
Many Kind Thanks
Happy Independence Day Joe , great to see you with a Kabar today!!
Same to you!....she's a great knife
Nuce knife. Reminds me more of a Persian Khanjar than a tanto but close enough. lol
Yeah that's why they labeled it as a Modified tanto but I hear you.
I bought this knife right when it first came out, like literally, nobody even had it. Although I love the blade shape & length, I just couldn't find a use for this knife except to slice food. This is just a straight up a combat knife. I might get one again later on as a back up knife or something to put in my bug-out bag. but this knife is a straight up pig-sticker, it doesn't really fare well in anything else, but it's a good combat weapon for sure. The One knife I carry and still carry to this day, is the 1211, in all black and has a single mark. I don't care about any other knife really, I love my Ka-Bar and although it's not the absolute toughest knife out there, it does everything I need it to do while still being easy to sharpen. I swear by this knife honestly, and I don't get how people beat on a Ka-bar, expecting it to pass torture tests, and then knock it for failing. You don't go off-roading in a ferrari would you? So then, people need to use the knife the way it was intended to be used, simple as that. I don't give a rat's ass for an over-priced knife with exotic steel just because some bored a-hole with money & a youtube channel has one and brags about it. I prefer my Ka-Bar, it has stood the test of time and I will continue to use my Ka-Bar 1211. Nuff said!
Thank you for sharing, and am glad you have your go to knife....but I do think in a pinch this 1266 would fair well, while yes being a good combat knife....at the end of the day there will always be someone with an issue...to each there own...peace out
@@JoeSteel1 I agree. To each his own, there's a Ka-Bar out there for everyone. aside from the Beckers which I take to the woods camping, I still carry my 1211 and use it as my edc, whether hiking, or in bad neighborhoods just passing through on foot, This is my Ka-bar of choice. Hell, I love ALL Ka-Bars, I just prefer my 1211 single mark. I support all my fellow Kabar users/enthusiasts.
First try! Hahaha
