8:57: it lines up very well. you can see the electrical boxes where the lighting fixtures were installed right up on the wall. The protective bollards, the ending curb, the pipes hanging overhead, and, as you mentioned, the utility box all line up--perfectly. If this were a sports review, the refs would say that there isn't enough evidence to overturn the play as called on the field--that that portion of the movie was filmed right there. I feel a bit ashamed that I never knew there was a third movie in this series. Even though I've never been a horror movie buff, I did watch the first two Poltergeist movies.
You didn't miss much, the 3rd was pretty much a flop, no comparison to the original and the 2nd movie.

Well I wasn't the greatest fan of the poltergeist a series of horror films but did watch the frist one... WOW that building is totally awesome love being up hi and heights like that and that tilt ride that you out from the building is so cool never been to Chicago but the empire State building in New York was fun and the Statue of Liberty OK KEEP UP THE AWESOME VIDEOS JAY take care stay safe and see you on the next adventure

I've been there 2 times this year and going back again in a few weeks, I can't get enough of it, just love the scenery and the city has a great vibe about it, especially at night time with everything lit up, has so many great attractions to visit.
Great video, even though I've never seen Poltergeist III, I did enjoy it because it's just interesting to see someone do a tour of a great American city. I haven't been to Chicago in 8 years and this makes me want to pay a visit. I've been to the top of the SEARS tower but never the John Hancock - will have to give it a (tilt-a) whirl!

One of these times when you come to Chicago, maybe you can do a meet and greet. I live in Chicago. Beaches just closed. Astor St= wealth.If you went North on Clark, you would have seen where the St Valentines murders took place.Excellent job on the Vlog as usual. Gangster bullets in the front of Cathedral you pointed out from the days of Al Capone. Gangster Dion O'Banion was killed there. Check it out.

Was just there 2 weeks ago, was eating dinner in the cheese cake factory, minutes after doing the observation deck and tilt when it dawned on me we were sitting in the building where they filmed poltergeist 3 lol

I got to go up there(I live in ohio) I was in that plaza and tried going in the building and they told me I had to leave. I think I went in the wrong doors or something because it was solid white walls with elevators. I had of went in the wrong door way lol I love it there though. I definitely wanna go back. :) (Poltergeist was always one of my favorites and loved the cast from all 3 rip all who passed on🙏🏻❤️)

You forgot to mention Tom skerrit was in space came with Kate Capshaw and Top Guns with Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer and Anthony Edward You could go to Anaheim next summer if the Rays play the Angels at Angels stadium and went down San Diego to do some film location with Adam or Rays or Angels play the Padres

Yea looks cool man, whish I could've visited with u bro n hang out hahaha, yup, looked way fun n the tilt looked pretty dope and fun , lol would've done the tipsy drinking right b4 the tilt , it's too bad that there are no plaques or signs on the wall for display on how many movies were filmed in the Hancock building, or atleast some souvinere with a poltergeist 3 logo or something printed on something for u to buy, I mean it's a shame they don't celebrate or show of any movie history plaques on the wall just to let people know what movies have been shot there since it's part of the buildings history, I mean it only makes sense since it's already a iconic tourist attraction with all the little shops and museums eatery restaurants that are for the guest entertainment and enjoyment for the people especially that come along way from around the world to sight see and explore the building, just my opinion on what the Hancock building should offer to the guests

She died after the filming was done, but they did a reshoot of the final scenes with a new script and body double because the director didn't feel good about it
