I m unable to upload my IMM5257 form on the website I have filled the form and validated successfully, but when I save it and after saving, I open it, it shows that the content of forms cannot be visible and opens only in Adobe Acrobat and that’s why I am unable to upload the form, do you know anyone who has suffered the same problem or do you have any solution for this, any help from you? Would be highly appreciated. Please help me
I am PGWP holder. Right now I am in India, want to apply for TRV to travel back to Canada.

It doesn’t show me an option of TRV. It shows me PGWP which I already have it. Can you please help me out?

For visa stamping you do not need a job offer if you are applying a trv based on an open work permit

I have my PGWP from canada. I came to India and was planning to return before my visa expired. But due to the current situation I couldn't and now I have to apply for new TRV. I tried through CIC canada but was facing some issues:
1. If work option is selected and current country as India, it says that we have to apply for a PGWP and TRV.
2. If visit option and India is selected, it suggests to apply for normal visiting visa.
3. If work and current country is selected as Canada, everything is good. But wouldn't that be a problem when I have to stamp my passport as I am not in Canada?? :(

I have all my job related documents including my last 4 paycheques. I have been there on a work permit only for few months now so i only have around 2500$ in my bank. Will it be enough?
If you have a job offer already where you can attach pay slips etc then this should not be a problem based on my online research

Purpose could be work . Duration could be the validity of your work permit . You can put the information of your employer

Hi I was student and applied for pgwp and got it approved in dec. In feb I came to india just a day before my return lockdown started I was unable to return back the problem is I didn’t receive my wp document yet to my canada address and I was continuing my part time work my current visa will expire on april last lockdown is until may 3 . What can I do to get my passport stamped ???? What should I show in written offer from employer?
In order to return to Canada you need to apply for a visa as your Wp is not a travel document. If it was approved in December it should have reached you by now. I would suggest you do inquiry about it. If you know anyone in Canada ask them to do an mp enquiry as that will get you some current information and they may ask ircc to send it by post again .
I called IRCC and no response, so I mailed to Canada embassy in delhi they ask me to apply for trv as returning worker because my document is already there in their systems and they will stamp it for me. But am confused to fill up the form and selection of biometrics centre.
Rahul it’s beyond the time they ask me to wait until 6 weeks of approval and on fourth week I travelled to india its been 3 months and more now centres are closed due to pandemic. is it possible to follow up of my document by my friends???

Same way. Your pgwp is an open work permit. You need to answer the questions accordingly
@@HelpingAll That's a glitch in the online system, it takes me to apply for PGWP outside Canada if I select "Work" and country of residence as "India" or normal visitor visa if I select "Visit" as the purpose and India as residence again. Please suggest!

During normal time you can easily get your passport stamped somewhere else but it is Covid now. In India there is a separate process of 2 way courier . I would suggest you call the IRCC CALL Center and discuss these issues and take their guidance

You do get a question where it asks if you have a valid work permit and want to return to Canada and need a visa. You need to select yes there
@@HelpingAll That's only if we select work as a purpose and Canada as the country of residence. If you select India and work in the questionnaire, it will take you to PGWP outside Canada which doesn't make sense as we already have it. If you select visit as the purpose and residence as India, it will take us to a normal visitor visa application involving invitation letter and proof of funds. We don't need to apply for the visitor visa like tourists as we are work permit holders.Kindly try it yourself to realise this. This is the loophole in the online portal.

Looks complicated. If you are on a closed Work permit then you need to apply for change in conditions in order to work for a different employer. So do you plan to apply the same after coming into Canada?
