Thanks Heff!! I only found American Gods in the last 6 months, I don't think they did a great job marketing it but it is an outstanding show with some cool characters, mythology and the imagery is crazy.
Constantine, Legion or Preacher?? Constantine got shafted and cut short but all these titles are real good solid picks. Might even add in the Gifted, also ended abruptly but was good for an attempt to make an X-Men spin off tv series.
I definitely agree with those picks, I recommended legion and preacher in some other videos so I try not to be repetitive. Legion is super underrated IMO.
I definitely agree with Watchmen and Preacher, but I just recommended those two in videos not to long ago. I do regret not including doom patrol but agents of shield did have some awesome moments but I didn’t love it as much
Watchmen, Umbrella Academy, The Defenders(specifically Jessica Jones/Luke Cage/Daredevil), The Misfits, Moon Knight, Warrior Nun, and The Phoenix… for now.
Jessica Jones was by far my favorite of the Defender series. I hated when it was cancelled. But I loved all of these. They were some of the best of Netflix in my opinion

Another series I would like to recommend that was so underrated when it first premiered a few years ago is Doom Patrol, this was criminally overlooked, it first appeared on the failed DC streaming app and then brought to HBO Max but it never caught on which is sad, it was funny, quirky, fun and I defy anyone, to watch it to not fall in love with the show, It starred Brendan Frasier, Matt Boomer, Diane Guerrero, and Alan Tudyk guest starred in the 1st season as Mr. Nobody, his funniest character he ever did
I really enjoyed Doom Patrol, it was very bizarre and funny but I did like it a lot. DC has a ton of good shows and there are just a ton of good shows in general. I had a really hard time narrowing down this list. Originally I had like 43 titles but then the video would of been over an hour so I had to condense. Which did leave off a few that I really liked.
I obviously loved the ties to the superhero world but The a penguin is just a really good show that even if you don’t like super stuff you can enjoy! 😁👍
You missed two of my favorite superhero shows. I think the best one is Agents of Shield. Another strong one is Agent Carter. That one is easy to binge because it is only 2 seasons.
Loved The Sandman but I just recently recommended it, Lovecraft started awesome but I thought it fell off a bit. Still worth watching but i dont know which show I’d replace with it
Legion now that’s a Super Hero show that’s wild.. the psychology of it is just bonkers and somehow they manage to have the actors photography and effects to make it work. Besides that Titans was much better and compelling than expected I enjoyed it a lot for a while it was a good show to rest with at night.
Good "Super-Powered" List 👍Thought I'd absolutely hate Titans, held off on even checking it out for a long time. One night I was roaming for something new to watch and came across it on Max. Thought "what the hell..." and clicked on it. Oh my gosh, to say that I was surprised would be a huge under statement! From the opening scene I was interested, then intrigued...and what about 20 min's in, the scene there, I was like "Holy cow Batman!" Wound up loving it! So grounded and well done, great writing and actors all doing a fantastic job in their respective roles! It's fun, serious and dramatic all wrapped up in a brilliant package! So IF you're into DC comics/superheros do check it out! Who knows you be pleasantly surprised like I was! And I Am Not Okay With This was another fun surprise. Based on a Graphic Novel, with Sophia Lillis doing a truly wonderful job as an awkward teen, along with new comer? Wyatt Oleff who laterally steals every scene he's in! Great time...but and it's a Big BUT. There's only one season and it ends in a total ciffhanger!!!! Quite irritating for sure! But it WAS a great/fun ride to get there. Been meaning to pickup the GN and continue the story there. Haven't done it yet though. And ah yes Heroes...watch it, watch it now! Oh and wanted to mention that All the beginning Marvel shows/series are now on Disney+ and no longer on Netflix (if you happened not to know) Looking forward to the new Daredevil! I agree about Titans, I did not realize it was a mature rated show when I started it and thought it was going to be teen titanish just live action and obviously I was way wrong. It really goes dark at times. Great option I do not know if you read the graphic novel that I Am Not Okay With This but it ends super dark so I am glad they decided to go another way with but sad that it does not look like its ever getting a second season. Pumped for the new Daredevil series, I hope the stick with the same tone and feel of the Netflix version. Thanks for checking out the video and thorough comment :)
My number one problem with Titans, which I mostly liked, was...THAT dude cannot possibly be Bruce Wayne. As big a casting mistake as I can think of in any comic book adaptation.
Great list! Most of these are comic book adaptations, side note; The Umbrella Academy is not a Netflix Original Series, it based on a comic of the same name. Worth checking out. Highly recommended! 😎👍🏻

The BOYS and Arrow are my top choices for this list. I can't choose between the two, but if I were only allowed to choose one out of the two, I would choose Arrow. In addition, I feel that Arrow and The BOYS are both criminally underrated.

I really enjoyed Agents of Shield, I said this to a few others now but I had to cut some really good shows cause there is just so many I wanted to include lol As for the Penguin, not really any super people but it really is a phenomenal show that is great for comic fans, but you really wouldn't need much backstory about Batman or the universe to enjoy it. I really enjoyed watching Swamp Thing (started to finally watch it earlier in this year). Sucks that they made just 1 season.. but I am gratefuI even for that 1 season. Made me like this Swamp Thing character that I didn't know much about him in the past. But this show made me like it or to even go on google / YT (to read a few articles / see some videos) and search more about Swamp Thing. He is an interesting character from DC. I liked the show so much that I even went to buy it on disc (blu-ray) and I plan to rewatch it somewhere in the future.
I LOVED Swamp Thing, I was devastated when they didn’t continue it, but I agree it really introduced me to the character and lore. Super interesting! 🥳😁👍
My only disappointment with *Titans* was that they never showed Barbara Gordon in *the suit*. It would have been great to see that. They *did* show Savanah Welch standing - clearly with her prosthetic in place - so I'm certain they could have successfully done a flashback with her in *the suit(. It was interesting when one of the villains clearly thought that she was just a woman in a wheelchair, and clearly forgo that she was *Batgirl* in a wheelchair
I do think if it was a stand alone and not part of the group it would be looked at different, its just cause its the weakest of the group that it kind of stands out. Hard to live up to Daredevil and the others if that makes sense
It still have a lot of people with incredible powers and I have been wanting to recommend it for a while but I just haven’t been able to fit it in so I just figured why not lol

When the Netflix marvel shows were coming out I was least excited about Jessica Jones, but she ended up being my favorite show of those. Iron fist was a big disappointment. And I was so disappointed that I'm not okay with this didn't get a second season

The best superhero series of the last few years the Korean series "Moving" (S2 on its way)isn't even on this list...hell the list is so heavily based on Western series its kind of a joke... Look i don't have an issue with ANY of the shows on the list ive watched nearly all of them its just that a lot of them pale compared to Moving

Angel, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Dark Angel, Mutant X (yeah, it's campy but a fun watch). No Ordinary Family was also fun.
Some great options there, No Ordinary Family was actually my 16th pick. But I try to stick to 15 tops or the videos get super long!

No superpowered heroes in Penguin, show is taking place in the same universe as The Batman which is more grounded world similar to Nolan trilogy

Yeah, no those three don’t have powers but there are actually a lot of superheroes that don’t have actual powers but are still superhero genre
