Not sure why I’m not subbed.. maybe on my other account, but dude… Tom I have missed you man. Please post some more! I remember the day you got the S1000rr and you got McDonald’s on it lol! You couldn’t contain your joy in the drive thru doing a mini launch right there to the window aha! You are one of a kind my good sir.. I throughly enjoyed and miss the WR vids. Cheers dude have a good weekend!
You are my hero, man. Whatever bike you acquire, I feel compelled to purchase as well; now I have to buy the Desert X. I hope you produce much more content like you used to!
Sick vid sir! Love the Woodstock, top way to end it! I just got back from Fraser on the Kato 890r Adv, so much fun! Soft sand not easy any way you look at it. Ducati looks 👌
Great Video, honestly your videos inspired me a lot. Ultralight camping and because of you the dream to ride off-road in Australia at some point. Also, correct tire pressure is that big of a difference? I never thought of lowering it when doing a bit of off-road, which is not too often (based in Germany). That's why I also don't want knobbies, not worth it for 90% on-road. Do you carry something to inflate your tires on the go? I thought about getting a battery powered mini compressor for at home and throwing it in for smaller tours, but now I'm overthinking it again :)
(A rappel ease) arapiles ! is the place you went past on the bike with people climbing.... hardest rockclimb in the world was there for many many many years ! ask me how i know !
I thought you gave up and started making videos about electric bicycles, cars, or scooters. Glad to see you back, big yahoo from Texas. It would be fun to see an off-road scooter in y’all’s desert.
Hey Tom, good to see you back, what are your thoughts on 701, straight out of shop for adventure, good suspension and power, no performance Mods needed. Would like to hear your thoughts, thanks mate
Awesome ride! How does the Desert X compare to the triumph Scrambler 1200 XE? Both seem like retro, heavy, tall bikes that handle surprisingly well on road for 21" front wheel. Would you say one is clearly more capable overall?
Tom, you should carry a pair of tweezers for when you find lizards like that. The poor lil guy had ticks and you could have made his day a whole lot better by removing them😄
On Friday I did 300 k's exactly on 8 litres of petrol on the great northern road on my yamaha xt250, I thought that was pretty good fuel economy. 😮 Oh, love your videos, I think you're funny. 😅
Hey TOm.. RUclips hasnt been alerting me your videos. Can I ask how much you paid for the Desert X ? Im in the market for a bike. I bought a rather amazing Jeep about 6 months ago and need to complete the ensemble with something that can get me smiling even more.
If in Australia I picked one up for $22,500 just before Christmas. Ducati had an offer discounting on the road fees and I got the dealer at the end of the month when needed to hit sales figures.
I’m deciding between a Pani v4 and DDx and I know it’s a weird comparison but I’m afraid that I won’t have enough time to go on balls to the wall adventures 😩 such are first world problems…
@@RidingWithTom I have ridden one already four years now. You just need to add better seat, bigger tank and some wind protection and it is best you can get.
There is Tom. I thought we lost you mate.

Ducati should pay you for that video Tom! Those bike pics at the end were awesome.
Sounds like a great plan Tom...What could go wrong?? Dingo's, or other shenanigans? Thank you for taking us along.

Love it mate! That sounds if the dessert X is pretty damn nice when you open it up. Keep the vids coming! 🙌🏽

Brilliant mate, hopefully you can get your hands on the rally when it comes out here.

Are you a fellow Texas DesertX rider?
@@jamescampbell4334 No. Ktm 1090r. However the desertx is on the radar.
Mallee, Emus and a Blue Tounged Skink. Epic wildlife as always.
Shingleback lizard, not a skink
@@budget-adventure Fair spot. far too lumpy for a skink. :D

Have you had the chance to ride the new BMW F900gs ? specwise very similar to the DesertX. Also it's heaps slimmer now than the old 850
I wanna get one but im scared to take it off road cause its to nice
What tires will you choose?
Wish we could do that kind of riding in the UK!! Great vid
Tom, where is the WR250R?
Remote riding solo on a Ducati 😬 You're a braver man than I.

Boarder track starts near Mildura and a lot of it is one way. At least that what I’d been told

Damn dude 26L of fuel????! How far can you go mate?

Nice work 👍

Quadlock!
Bet the road was much beter in SA than Vic roads 😅
Love a good emu 😊
We miss you bro ❤
Btw what how do you feel about the extra booty fuel? Worth the $ or better just to grab extra fuel bladders?
you dont have to fill it up if you dont want to. Better to have it then not
@@mcdonaldslover52 What I mean is it’s a 3000$ + install upgrade to get auxiliary tanks, it’s not standard
The front tank get really good range, unless you doing big desert crossing all the time I wouldn’t bother
Francis is a good place to stay
Why buy a DesertX when you could be riding an Emu? They look just as fast.
Yeah boi let’s go !!
😂#Endurotinnies for me next time!
