Hi Josh I have been homeless since October 2021 and I have been crying out to my local churches to find help and I even have a car and an income and your song I refuse is bringing me closer to the lord than my own home church yes I cried my whole soul to my pastor last night and all she does is say a prayer well I refuse to say another empty prayer or laugh when someone has lost her child 3 yrs ago her husband walks out on her 8 months later after taking everything from me and I just want to follow the lord even though I have lost most everything I remembered the song I refuse that I heard a long time ago and I told my pastor that's all we do to help is pray then she told me to come to another town and help feed the hungry when I am 61yrs old disabled and lost and hungry I am hanging on to your song with all of me the devil is strong out here I don't even know how to be homeless but by the grace of God I am still believing because of inspirational music like yours God bless you young man how can people just pray and not come and help and I ask God for help but I feel I shouldn't have to ask my own church when they know I am out here trying to for almost 2 years and everybody just refuses to come and help so I hope your song touches pastors and Christians across the world to come and help and refuse to turn thier head and just walk away God bless
You hear one song and then think you're a Christian? Being a real Christian is about showing the world what a wonderful way of life it is through ACTION, not words. The reason so many people turn their backs when they hear the term 'Christian' is because so many try to 'preach' and force their views on others. Completely NOT the Christian way. This is a great video! I always try to remember that anyone I meet or pass by has a story, and everyone is equally in need of Jesus as their Savior. When you treat someone in a way that shows they matter to God, they may open up. Never underestimate the power of being a friend, mentor, or prayer warrior to someone who is hurting, whether you know their story or not. Refuse to ignore God's wonderful creation! It's an amazing journey.

This song is for Christians who start losing hope because of all the pain around them. When the wicked always seems win. When all the good they put into the world seems to do nothing. When God seems to not care anymore. The darkness seems to close in and everything seems like a waist. Like there is no point. Then listen to this song! really, people think that it is too far away to help needy, but people who need help is right around us. It may be hard do stand up for weak, but that is what God has called us to. Like some people helped Jews to escape from Holocaust, we gotta have open ears to what is happening to the world or at least around us and help.

Thats when we pray to God ask him to help the people out there who are lost, need to find God and its starts with us telling people about God, bring them to Church, Like go to Calvary Chapel.. I know its hard but the Daughters and Sons of God are listening with open hearts. Keep doing what your doing bro. I first heard this song at my Confirmation retreat this past weekend. It is not only a catchy song, but it's so meaningful to me and this has changed my perspective of how grateful I should be. This song will make me a better person who will help the poor and stop giving people the "I didn't see you" walk. Thanks Josh and everyone keep believing and changing who YOU are because today's society need to change. We have to stop treating women like sexual objects and respect. Pooring rain tonight...passing a homeless woman on my way to pick up my son at an after school event...sitting in the car (early)...I turn on the radio...and "I refuse" comes on....God brings this woman into my mind...I pick up my son..and go to the store...get an umbrella, a rain poncho and a week's worth of groceries....God speaks through HIS music...I am going to sleep so good tonight...the smile on her face.....I can't explain

Why is this actually so relatable to me right now? This is pretty much my exact situation right now. I know I should be going out telling others about Jesus but it is so much easier to sit back and say "God will make a way for them even if I don't reach out". But I know that's, to some extent, exactly what the enemy wants me to think. It's time for me to go out and share this life-changing experience I've had with others no matter the adversity/fear.
