I am deeply sorry.
I woke up paralyzed on the ground of a cabin in Lake Tahoe, Nevada two years ago from a fall that broke my neck in three places. The doctor said I would never walk again, and I would be quadriplegic for the rest of my life. I was despondent, depressed and suicidal but the Lord had another plan. Six months later, my little toe started to move, since then I’ve been able to slowly walk with the help of from a walker. My hands have limited mobility, but I have faith that one day I will be able to hold my 10 year old daughter’s hands. Until then I will lift my mangled hands and praise Him in this storm. Pray for my healing. If you’re going through the storm, don’t give up don’t surrender He’s right there with you in the boat.

I’m 16 I lost my 17 year old brother 10-30-22 I spent 16 year with him he died in a car accident Lowkey crying while typing this but seeing u all open up about ur testimony really encourage me couple month after he passed I fell badly into depression and anxiety and was suicidal until one day I didn’t want to be here anymore and was going to take my life but in the process I heard such a comforting voice that told me to open up my moms devotional Bible and just start reading I didn’t understand but by the grace of god I followed through an read an I felt such comfort from the scripture an just broke down in tears an felt the presence of the Holy Spirit ever sense then I’ve never been the same theres times where I lost faith but Jesus never let me get to far to where I couldn’t come running back to my first love praise u Jesus for saving from my self ❤️Jesus saves👑🔥Jesus is king 👑 🔥 he is the way truth and the light

I lost my 9 year old son. I was a single mom for all 9 years. I went into depression and tried committing suicide,but God saved me. From that day on wards I had a relationship with God. Funny how I only heard this today, tonight as I type this ..Am playing it. And it makes soo much sence.

Just got a shocking news 2 weeks ago, discovered through CT scan and other test, having a pancreas cancer metastasized to liver ... "though my heart is torn, I praise You in this storm."
God has been so good, I am so undeserved, but receiving joyfully His grace.
Had a surgery last week. Failed to do the planned wipple procedure to remove the cancer, already too sticky to the main blood vessel, and too many in the liver. But I still believe in His healing power and miracle.
On the recovery process and pleasw pray that God will show me the next step. Chemo or stem cell.

This song helped me so much when I suffered a miscarriage in 2016. I prayed so hard that God would save my baby , that he would make my baby’s heart beat but it didn’t happen. I was so distraught , I had this song on repeat especially at nights . And now in 2020 I am currently holding my three month old son. Thank you Jesus for never leaving my side and for blessing my husband and I with a child at last . 💙 God is Good all the time and all the time God is Good!

My only son was in Bible College & he came down to visit me on one of the school breaks. On the way to my house, a drunk driver hit him in a head on collision on the bridge…estimated at a speed of 90 m.p.h. My son was killed instantly! The engine of my car was embedded in my son’s chest!! It was the most horrific pain I’ve ever endured!! God spoke to my heart after I heard my son was killed “to praise Him in the midst of the storm.” It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through. God never promised us that we would “feel” like praising Him through it…He just requires us to be obedient to His Holy Word. I’m praying for you!!! 💔🙏

My son was killed in a car accident two years ago. I was already a Christian and had a relationship with God. He strengthened me through that time and carried me when I could not walk. During this time I was listening to this song and I just started praising God even though my heart was hurting so bad. My son was our only child and despair and depression was surrounding me. But through that praise, God strengthened me so I could be strong for my wife. He took me to Job and helped me to understand the reason for suffering and it drew me closer to Him. The hurt is still there but the Healer is also.

I’m pretty young but growing up I was always a Christian raised Christian and lately I’ve been having trouble at school and life and like a year ago my parents got divorce which really tore my heart and I couldn’t believe it and I asked god “why me?” Why was my life becoming so difficult I started to get diagnosed with depression and anxiety and during that process I became numb to all feelings I had when worshipping I started to feel like I had lost his presence and I went to the casting crowns concert yesterday I started processing those lyrics in this song and I felt reevaluated and I heard gods words and I feel this song in my soul I feel the Holy Spirit reaching me I feel him in my heart and I feel so good I haven’t felt such strong emotions for so long. I love you Jesus thank you for always being by my side even though I didn’t believe it.✝️

I have been a believer for 54 yrs now, and know that God is able to keep us through every trial in life. Even when faced with life threatening illness, God has amazed me with His live & power to touch & heal us. In 1998, I was diagnosed with stage 4 Non Hodgkins lymphoma & a 21.5 cm tumor in my abdomen. God spoke within me that He was going to heal me & give me a testimony! It will be 23 yrs now that I have been in remission! 🙌 There is NOTHING to hard for God to do! He gave me this scripture to hold on to: Habakkuk 3:19 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition: "The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]!"

Please understand the test, it might help you find healing and closure. The test is a heart test, will you love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and will you love your neighbor as yourself. We are allowed to love our spouses, but not more than we love God. Just as we are allowed to love our children, but not more than we love God. We are allowed to love our parents, but not more than we love God. He has to take first place in our hearts, always. My dad had a massive stroke (June-2014)
My parents both met in the 9th grade, and they got married after my dad came home from Vietnam War in 1968.
My oldest son dad died in Christmas 2007
My grandmom died May 2020
My family pet died June 2020
My oldest brother died August 27, 2020 (shot and killed in front his baby at 7-Eleven store)

We lost our son going on 12 years. He was 20. I can't remember anything but the pain. I was blank. I was in shock. It was a terrible accident. We lost him on July 26th, and I found God on November 1st. He definitely has brought me through. I couldn't have made it without him. Of course we're still human. We grieve daily.

The Lord saw my wife thru breast cancer. She is still dealing with the aftermath of radiation treatments, but He is helping her thru this. Now I have to see a Dermatologist for possible skin cancer. I have also been battling type 2 diabetes for over 15 years. I do not have the strength or resources to battle cancer on top of diabetes. But I will choose to walk in faith, as He has blessed me in the past when circumstances were less then stellar. I need courage. Lord, help me to remember Your in instructions in Joshua 1: 9, Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage, do not be afraid or dismayed, for The Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Please pray for my wife and I.

I had my little boy at 32 weeks and 5 days and listened to this song everyday in the hospital because I was so scared with delivering that earlier but god had other plans and gave me a healthy baby boy who is now a year old and as healthy as they come. Thank you god for everything 🙏🏼

I remember the day that my wife called me when I was at work and told me that she stopped feeling the baby move like most people I put it out of my head or pretended everything was okay but it wasn't. The next 3 days were the hardest three days of my life and the hardest days of my wife's life as well. when we got to the hospital the doctor told us the baby had passed but my wife was full term and would have to have a regular birth. I held her hand as we both cried and she pushed out our precious little girl who was gone. Later the next day I remember hearing this song praise you in The Storm. I remember thinking how these lyrics fit exactly how I feel. since then God has healed our hearts and blessed us with two healthy children. Even in your darkest hour, God is with you I believe that wholeheartedly. God bless you all.

On the way to my house, a drunk driver hit him in a head on collision on the bridge…estimated at a speed of 90 m.p.h. My son was killed instantly! The engine of my car was embedded in my son’s chest!! It was the most horrific pain I’ve ever endured!! God spoke to my heart after I heard my son was killed “to praise Him in the midst of the storm.” It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through. Just got a shocking news 2 weeks ago, discovered through CT scan and other test, having a pancreas cancer metastasized to liver ... "though my heart is torn, I praise You in this storm."
God has been so good, I am so undeserved, but receiving joyfully His grace.
Had a surgery last week. Failed to do the planned wipple procedure to remove the cancer, already too sticky to the main blood vessel, and too many in the liver. But I still believe in His healing power and miracle.
On the recovery process and pleasw pray that God will show me the next step. Chemo or stem cell.

I was In a car wreck some years ago. Broke my back in 3 places which set up spinal curvature which makes walking painful. But...I can walk. Then I had a heart attack that needed 3 cardiac bypasses to keep me alive. Been cut, stabbed and shot at as a LE officer, and I am still here. Painful at times, but I know without a doubt that God was watching and helping me through it all. Also as an "AMEN" moment for me I can relate, my mom who lives across the country told me one day by phone she was sick, and wanted me to come and see her. I and my wife flew from S.C. to San Diego and found her near the end of her life with cancer and heart issues. I knew before we came that it might be my last time to see her. So I had earmarked all the "road to salvation" verses in my bible with clear tape. As I talked with Mom, she asked if I could read some verses for her. It was surprising. It was like God said, "now is the time that I wanted to prepare you for". After I read her the verses I asked her Mom, dont'cha want to go to heaven when you die. She said yes, and asked the Lord as we prayed to forgive her of her sin, and to save her in Jesus name right then and there. I asked her if she knew now that she would absolutely go to heaven when she died, and she smiled and said yes ! We all hugged and cried including my wife who was there with me. After a wonderful day had ended we left. The next week, she died. But what comfort we had knowing without a doubt where she was spending eternity. If I ever had any doubt of Gods power and how important it is to just be willing to follow him without hesitation, 100% I do not wonder now. The witnessing my wife and I had done with her from time to time had planted a seed. We were blessed to see it bloom and shine that day ! "Thank you Lord" for using an old worn out country boy like me, to witness and to lead my own Mom to Christ. I am still in awe of his Power and Glory. Thank You Lord !
I had to put my dog down today. Yesterday I was Praying to God in the car asking him to please help my boy, and as I was Praying I was thinking, “please give me a sign that everything will be ok God”, and I was also thinking about this song in the back of my mind, but said to myself “don’t play that one God“ because the verse “I Praise the one who gives and takes away”, and then all of a sudden this song started playing. I didn’t realize till today that God was trying to tell me he was taking Zeus home, and even through the storm though my heart is torn he will still be by my side holding my tears in his hands and he will raise me up and give me strength to carry on, and I will Praise him through this storm.

I found myself completly flat on the floor while this song was playing and crying out to the Lord! This song met me in a time of complete devastation! I’m still not ok. Guinness & I volunteered at hospitals, with children of abuse and homelessness in 8 places, with children of autism at several schools & clinics, camps, fundraisers, de-stressing students during finals in high school and colleges, teen challenge facilities and so much more. He took me places over 11 years as a therapy dog, I would have never gone, made friends I would have never made-I was the lucky one at the end of his leash-he gave his whole heart away in the end & he was what completed me!💕🐾🥰

I was born into a household where my mother was beaten repeatedly. I didn't want yo go to church because my father was a lay preacher. It was only when my mum finally got the courage to leave him that I started going to Sunday School. I saw Jesus in my grandmother, I gave my heart to the Lord. Jesus has never failed me once. I love Him with all of my heart.

I really love reading all of these comments. My heart goes out to everybody that is going through things right now. I am going through a lot right now myself and I am a single father taking care of my kid on my own and I've been in the hospital a lot lately and now my mother has been in and out and is back in there and this morning when I had to call the ambulance she told me she loved me and did not think she was going to make it. Lord I will continue to praise you.

I was on dialysis for 2 years starting I'm 2021. Kidneys started to fail in 2019. I was 34 when I started dialysis. I am now 1 year post transplant. Keep looking forward. It can happen for you too

What makes it worse is that some of my family members are fighting their battles with covid-19 and it's just too much weight to handle right now. This songs hits me pretty hard, my husband and I have 3 daughters, he was killed in an automobile accident when our youngest was 3. I wanted him to be proud of the job I did raising them. I succeeded that with the help of our Lord and Savior, they are beautiful independent women. My Father in Heaven, and my Lord Jesus have blessed us with 8 amazing Grandchildren that Rock my World! I know their dad is proud! ❤️🙏🏼❤️

My wife and I just saw Sound of Freedom last night, a movie about the tragedy of child sex trafficking. As I was listening to this song this morning, it struck me how the lyrics fit the plight of those dear children. I would ask everyone who reads this to pray for their rescue and to act in some small way to end this human indignity. Start with prayer. It works! Great will be their reward in heaven.

June 27, 2008, 13 years ago today. I lost my husband, he was my prayer partner, best friend & confidant unexpectedly it was absolutely devasting. Having 3 small children at the time, I felt swallowed up by grief, pain, confusion, and anxiety, carrying a very heavy weight, needing God more than I ever had in my entire life. Early one morning while at the cemetery I was on my knees crying and praying God why.... and the Holy Spirit opened my ears and this song was playing on the radio in my car. This song ministered to me in such a way and God's peace consumed me and I was wrapped in God's love for me at that very moment. As I lifted up my eyes to the hills, declaring he is still God no matter where I am! I thank God for HIS HELP!!! He gave me Strenght, He healed me, gave me His peace, and wrapped me in His unfailing love.
***This is one of the most raw and real songs I've ever heard.*** I first came across it after my Dad passed away back in 2005. It's an awesome message of the struggle as well as the peace in the storm and that they can co-exist. The peace wins.....but it's okay to not be okay. This song hits right where you live and is a powerful reminder of who to lean on in the hard times. I pray we all find our strength in HIM.

After years of not hearing, nor even remembering this song, I heard it on the radio just recently and found that I still knew the lyrics. God works in mighty ways! I now love this song again.
My only son was in Bible College & he came down to visit me on one of the school breaks. On the way to my house, a drunk driver hit him in a head on collision on the bridge…estimated at a speed of 90 m.p.h. My son was killed instantly! The engine of my car was embedded in my son’s chest!! It was the most horrific pain I’ve ever endured!! God spoke to my heart after I heard my son was killed “to praise Him in the midst of the storm.” It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through. God never promised us that we would “feel” like praising Him through it…He just requires us to be obedient to His Holy Word. I’m praying for you!!! 💔🙏

I didn't know my Mother was dying of cirrhosis of the liver until two days before she died and the Lord has shown me that she didn't tell me and most of our family members about it bc she didn't want us to worry and she wanted us to go on with our lives so that she could die in peace since she had order in her life. I just lost my soul mate 2 days ago. She dies in her sleep and I woke up and found her. This song will let you know that God will never put more on then what you can handle.
