I started my jorney today to the CCNA certification at 1/8/2024, I wish good luck and good study for all people around the world, let's go! We can do it. Thank you so much Mr. Jeremy.
Short Version: I passed my CCNA 200-301 exam on January 2, 2023, by primarily using Jeremy's CCNA course (lectures, labs, and Anki flashcards) as well as Boson ExSim. I started this journey the second week in November 2022 and finished on January 2, 2023. Longer Version: I have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and have always loved working with and building computers. It took me a while to figure out I wanted to go into Network Engineering, as well as find a reputable source for learning the material to become a Network Engineer. I saw Jeremy’s videos had lots of reviews and positive feedback so I decided it was worth trying. I started this journey in November of 2022 and watched all of Jeremy’s videos (at 1.5x speed) and did every lab. I also used all of the Anki flashcards (totaling about 2100 at the end of it all; some were added that weren’t there already, but no more than 50). I also did not start using Boson ExSim until I had finished all of Jeremy’s Anki flashcards, lectures, and labs because I wanted to take the practice exams as if it was the real deal. I got a 75% on my first practice exam through Boson ExSim and then 89% and 92% on the other two. After the practice exams were done I went through all 315 questions in Boson ExSim and read every description (making notes/flashcards as needed). I also wrote out about 90% of Jeremy’s lectures in a 3 subject college-ruled notebook that when I was finished, was almost filled. I did all of Jeremy’s labs three times and before the CCNA exam, I focused on the labs that said “configure” in the official CCNA guidelines. Overall, this experience has been a lot to take in, but I was determined and focused on my goal of becoming a Network Engineer. Jeremy and all his hard work put into this FREE course for the CCNA 200-301 are invaluable. If you are ever in doubt about what source to use for the exam, you need no more than Jeremy’s course. Thank you Jeremy for all you have done in making this course as detailed and accurate as you have. You have changed my life and allowed me to pursue the career I know will truly make me happy. Update: I got my first job as a Network Engineer the first week of February 2023!!!! It is a dream come true I am so happy! The first day I was able to visit some of our sites and go into the server rooms and it was awesome! Gosh everyday is the best and I couldn’t be more happy. I wish everyone luck in their journey. You got this!!! Don’t get discouraged, just make a comment on here and we can talk about it.
Wow, I just read the long version. Thank you for sharing your story. You achieved so much in a short amount of time. May I ask, how many hours of study did you do daily or weekly on average? I am looking to have my CCNA by April 25th, 2023.
@@elleb3875 I started my day by always reviewing the daily Anki cards. I then went from about 9am-12pm taking notes, updating the Anki flash cards app after every lesson, and then the lab after that. Then lunch/mental break for about 45 minutes to an hour, then 1pm to about 4-4:30pm. Some days my hand would feel good and I could write more notes, some days I just cramped too much. I only did the Anki flash cards after the lecture was done and written, not before the lecture. I did try to take a break between 1pm and 4-4:30pm. Sometimes I was just grinding away and time passed. I always took Sundays off, but still did the Anki review. ALWAYS DO THE ANKI DAILY REVIEW. (I still do the daily reviews even after passing). So I probably averaged about 6-7 hours daily for 6 days a week. I got through Jeremy’s lessons in the entirety in about 4-5 weeks. Then I did Boson ExSim after that mainly (in addition to Anki). I recommend using Jeremy’s link to get it. I can’t remember if the link gives a discount or not, so if it doesn’t you can use the browser app “Honey” and you can usually get a decent discount.
@@IndoBarber-t8p you got it! Just have to be diligent in your studies and it’ll work out. The effort you put in correlates to the results. Everyone has a different pace, but as long as you are trying your best it’ll get done and you’ll succeed. Avoid any form of discouragement as well; if you get to your daily limit just take a break or even stop. Take an extra complete day off if need be. Rant over, but good luck and come back when you’re done and let us know!
I'm so very very happy to finally be studying something to get back into the IT field. One of the Network Engineers at the company I work for told me his story about watching these vids and passing his CCNA exam the first try and that got me excited to get back into the field. THANK YOU Jeremy!
I just watched the first video and so far,it is the most valuable and most informative video I came across.I love how you speak with medium speed/intonations/pauses to give our brain time to digest. Also love how you stick to the subject w/o talking too much about it….and I love that you use quizzes and scenarios for each learning section.Thank you for your hard work and effort to putting this up available for all us.🙏🙌

Heres a tip that majorly helped my studies. After I finished the lecture video I would download the flashcards and then edit them, I would add screenshots of the topologies or power point slides that jeremy provided in the lecture video so that in the future if I ever got a card wrong, I could immediatly see an explanation of why it was wrong and what the right answer was with a load of context that would help me recall. This helped not only because I could see where I was going wrong but taking the time to edit the flashcards also aided my learning. I would also recommend making your own flashcards for particularly tricky to understand topics or things you are struggling with.
Recently passed my CCNA. The work you've been putting out Jeremy is honestly second to none. The flashcards really helped in memorizing all of the aspects layed down in the videos. The labs gave me hands on experience with the theory. can't thank you enough

I have Bachelor’s in Network and Information security, but this exam was harder than any exam I had in my university! :/ Also, I just want to say, I hate IPv6
Hello jeremy sir, first of all i would really like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I recently started serious studying for the CCNA 200-301 exam i started studying from the official but cert guide then i was stucked at a topic: L3PDU of OSI model, so i just youtubed it and found your video and started watching it. And at the end of that video i was just amazed by your way of teaching the way you made things so easy to understand and the ankicards really made easy to remember everything. So i was studying CCNA 200-125 from 2019 but not from a teacher but a mentor he had all the knowledge but was not able to teach properly but still he guided me on my path. But then i had to leave my studies because of my personal circumstances and then i had to move to england from india. After that also i always had a interest in the subject but i didn't used to get time to study because of my main bachelors study and part time job to get living expenses BTW i am working as a bartender now and studying sociology as my father wanted me to become a government officer like he was but recently one of my cousins tried to down punch me by telling me that i wasnt really interested in networking i just wanted to showoff to everyone by using some kind of exclusive keyword so it hurted my ego btw my cousin is an app developer at samsung R&d. So it hurted my ego and i told him that i will prove to you my interest in networking so i took a month holiday from my job and started preparing for my exam i started my preparation on 29th of December and here i am today on 4th of January i have already completed UpTo ssh from your course and i dont only watch your videos i study them from official cert guide by wendell odom i use anki cards and lab practice are the must so that i remember and understand each and everything by heart not just reading without understanding i am studying almost 22 hours a day without any breaks i use anki cards while doing day to day necessary activity like eating, and etc so not a single minute is exhausted. So today after so much hours of studying and practicing i took a break as my mind was fully frustrated and first thing after taking a break i am doing is to thank you as an indian it is in our culture that parents and teachers are the most valuable people in ones life so once again thank you so so so much you really helped with the journey I am planning to complete studying all the concepts by 7th which also includes studying some concepts i was getting problem with again and after that i am thinking to book my exam on 30th and leaving rest of the days just to do labs and exam-sims. I dont even know whether you will read this message or not but if you are reading then once again thank you so much. And ya i just wanted to ask whether i will pass this exam or not? Because i am kind of worried about this its just that i have anxiety for this exam though i am scoring somewhere between 920 to 960 in cisco's ex-sim still i am nervous i dont know why so can you please tell me if i would be able to clear it or not??
@Vasu Patel I read your story and I just want to say that I am surprised with your motivation that how you wanted to prove your interest to Networking. So hope you have passes that exam or you will get it soon. Keep moving ahead 👍

Did you get the voucher to take the test already?
No but i will get it in 2-3 days. I am just waiting for my salary. I will probably get it tomorrow .
