ERRATA: 32:36 I should have said 'single-mode fiber', NOT 'multi-mode fiber'
Was about to comment this haha.
Enjoying the videos as well. You should add a second piece of errata. @22:17 it is called just the "core". It is made from glass or plastic. Fiberglass is another material completely and will cause confusion with newcomers.
You are god, sir, how can anyone teach CCNA such nicely ,,,,
Hey. Check this video out at the approx. 0.31 mark. They put a nice text box saying "he meant to say XYZ, not ABC". Maybe something you;d like to add to your videos when errors come up? Not everyone may see the comments.

I am a 11 year old kid and I can understand it all bec you start CCNA from 0. I was encoureged by my father so now I also studying with him
thanks.
wow , that's great!
Syed, don't stop studying!...Let me tell you this little story...My father always repeats this to everyone: "Keep studying, don't let yourself hang on the information..."...I am 33 years old, and I feel I am lagging behind technology...I was CCNA certified once back in 2015 to 2018, and I just dropped studying due to a detour I took in my life, and I regret not keeping myself updated on Cisco, Cloud services, firewalls, etc...right now I am studying again in order to gain my CCNA certification and I will do everything I can to get to CCNP. Also, I am starting with Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Cloud Services) in order to get a better job, a better salary, and a better lifestyle...don't stop kid, you have gotta carry on!!!
@@despiertateymotivate awh :( im sorry to hear that! well, good luck with that now!

@@bbamna5705 You have a golden chance because your are young. So, keep going and don't stop studying.
I love you man. I used to think CCNA was too hard for me. But with your pedagogic teaching style, I gain confident, I and make me realize that I can actually pass. Again sincerely thank you.
Thanks for your kind words, glad to hear that :)
Karl did u become ccna meanwhile?
I am currently preparing myself for taking CCNA exam, and as Karl i think i can make it. Because of the teaching in this videos. Thanks Jeremy. You are the best.

Learning more than my networking classes in college. Thank you.
Seriously! I went through Cisco's own CCNA course, via my college, and I'm learning more here than I did there.
Same.
Yup
Same
Finished the first part of CCNA Cisco course on my college and the knowledge didn't really stick to me so I'm glad I found this channel to relearn them again.
My best friend is a Network Engineer and I'm still only a computer technician. He kept insisting for me to complete my CCNA. I Purchased the books to teach myself and at first I was terrified because it felt like the book was written in a different language. I figured I would do some additional research to be able to start at a level where I could understand the material and found these videos.... WOW, not only do I understand but I'm so excited to continue learning as I love this material!
Thank you so much Jeremy!
Thanks so much for this comment, really happy to receive comments like this :) Good luck!
Wow I initially studied for my CCNA in 2019 and failed but i guess it was due to the fact that i didn't understand the technologies in depth, but this guy's explanation are top notch, Thanks alot Jeremy.
OMG Jeremy, my life is about to change!!!! You made "study for CCNA" EASY and FUN for me!!!! I am just starting and I am confident already that I can do this this time ahahah! I am one of those people who every year say, this is the year I am passing my CCNA. This is probably year Number 4th. I can't wait to get to the end of these Videos!!!! I am grateful already!!!! You are AMAZING!!! It is free here but I literally went ahead and paid for the courses because I am thinking that is the only way I can thank you... and passing my exam too!!! WOW WOW WOW! By the way, I was watching one of Keith Barker's video and he mentioned you. That is how I landed here! So thank you Keith (who is also a great instructor)!
did you do the exam yet
I hope you passed sis?
was it the year you actually passed though?
before watching your video I never truly understood the straight-through vs crossover cases. But you have cleared that up for me perfectly. Thank you Jeremy.
What @JeremysITLab is doing here is surprising. I went to school and paid very expensive fees and the classes were not even this simple. All I can say is thank you Jeremy!
I started my CCNA journey just 2 days ago and your videos really made me fell in love with the subject. I thank you from the bottom of my heart sir. You are a legend sir. Thanks a lot.
I completed CCNA 8 years ago. Again watching your video lesson I remember all of my previous lectures. Now I am currently work at Power Engineer at Bangladesh.
Simply amazing!!!
You are teaching a 40-year-old brain so effortlessly, thank you!
I am blown away at how simplified you have been able to break this down
😊 I have worked in the networking field for almost 3 years now and this is such an amazing resource!
Thanks! :)
I want to discuss some brief information about networking. pls reply
Man, that bites vs bytes sample when traversing is the best example ive came across that fully explains why speed is measured in bites and not bytes. Such a simple explanation that finally made it click for me. It makes total sense now.
I'm college student my plan is to take CCNA certificate only but as I'm going through you're videos it's giving me free of bundles of knowledge . Love you germ ❣️ 😅
Hi Jeremy, I am happy I found this course before subscribing to Udemy or other online study portals. I am an IT person for many years and had my CCNA certificate that expired some time ago and I was thinking to re-certify. These amazing videos with your brilliant teaching style is very good to refresh my rusted memory. Keep it up! A Big Thank You to you!
You are such a blessing Mr. Jeremy. I just subscribed and I will follow all the CCNA courses that you have made available to us. I hope this itself will help me pass the New CCNA 200-301exam.
We truly appreciate you. Thanks
a different way of teaching with solid confidence .thank you
Thanks for your comment!

@@JeremysITLab Thank you so much. Your courses are better than my engineering school courses.
Thank you very much for these videos Jeremy, I really enjoyed your video they are all understandable . The big advantage here is that you start from zero, meaning one with zero experience on IT can easily understand this course. I paid for 3 ccna courses on Udemy and other online school, i found it difficult to cover 10% of the course since February 2018 because their teaching are so boring and difficult to catch up with, please continue with it and I will also do my own little support on crypto and sharing the videos. Thank you once again, you are a very good tutor
Thank you so much! I'll do my best to keep the videos coming at a decent pace :)
I spent money on Udemy too, I lost my money.
Where's the link to the flashcards?
I just watched your video with David Bombal whom I purchased his CCNA course on Udemy. After the video I checked YOUR CCNA videos and am blown away with the simplicity and clarity of your teaching method. Between David, Chuck, and yourself I am so enjoying learning networking. Thank you so much for the resource which I appreciate immensely.
I got to many years working with computers and networking that make me so lazy to study and I really need the CCNA, but let me tell you, this is the best Tutorial online, great Job I really appreciate your dedication.
Just wow.. this is one of best Free tutorial for CCNA. I just started though.. but the way he described in this lecture .. i can feel it is going to be a great learning course. he mentioned everything on point and made things very simper to understand. Thanks for your AWSM work. For sure I'm going to follow you till the end of course..Cheers :D
Thank you sir!

Thank you for these courses; this is the first time in 2 years that I have come back to try and get my CCNA. I am a Network Operations Tech 1 and I work with routers, switches and I have been trying to understand the basics and you have done that for me. I never thought I would understand but you have given that to me 🙂
The only quizzes that I feel that make sense based on what you just learned in the video, but also hard enough that make you think a little about the content you just learned. You're a godsend. Lessons build upon each other. I love you
Thank you . Day 2 :)
The best networking teacher and the best networking video by far ever!!!
This is why your course is so highly rated, I'm going through the OCG book by Odom , and you touched on everything
I never knew I would like Networking, not until you. You don't know how much of a blessing you are to me. You rock 🤟 Love you ❤️
This is the best tutorial, I am glad that I found this video. your just Amazing jermey....Thank you :) subscribed
Thanks for subscribing! The course isn't finished, but please follow as I make the videos :)
This episode was jam packed but everything was explained so effectively that it's almost impossible not to understand. Great job.
Thanks, glad it was understandable!
Perfect, nice and slow, with clear explanation. I've watched so many videos, including paid ones that seem to think this is something you can learn over night. THANK YOU
I've been working on Cisco for 30+ years. I used to havr to fabricate patch cords in the office before such things could be store bought or ordered from CDW. I did the CCNA work and installed, maintained, configured, upgraded, and administrated old Cisco switches and routers when their were like only a couple of models of each. Your course brings back memories. I remember when MDI-X was invented! Nobody believed! We had a spool of Cat-6 a box of mods and cripers standing by at all times. When they showed us how the thing worked we were not impressed. We thought the guy was full of shitake mushrooms with extra soy sauce! Then we still fabricated patch cords onsite anyway every time we went out. Thanks for the free course.
Yeahm I was doing all this when their was only a CCIE and no CCNA.
i bought the official cert guides from cisc, which are great, but with a new job and life, its difficult to study some times. so when im to tired and need to refrsh a chapter, these videos are perfect for keeping up with studying and keeping the info constantly on my mind(like having it play while i do chores) thank you so much! great added aid to the books!
Nice, glad to help :)
Second day, more info on cables i didn't know than i expected!
Glad you learned something :)
Dude, I'm Brazilian and I don't understand any English, but I use the subtitles of RUclips and even so I understand perfectly. His teaching method is surreal.Congratulations
Hello Jeremy
I decided to change a career and started cyber security course online but your course and the way you explain makes much more sense the course I have paid for. I hated CCNA with my coursework you made it simply amazing.
Thank you
Thank you for this content I am a small business owner and I'm getting my company off the ground thanks to your help! 💪🥳
Thank you! Good luck with your business.
Thank you, made perfect the short quiz but I will still study this lesson to further equipped.
Man o Man I have to say I truly truly owe you my first child! I thank you so much for what you do! So so much
I love the way you speak slowly and clearly unlike others. Huge respect SIR.
Thank you :)
Love the videos. The packet tracer labs and flash cards make me feel just like i'm back in community college haha. Thank you!
Thanks Andrew ;) I think both are great tools for study!
@@JeremysITLab sorry, if I can ask a question here. If I understood all the flashcards for all lessons were already downloaded from Google Drive at once and I moved them to the CCNA Deck, how can I make the flashcards related to Day 2 show up there? It`s only giving me 2 extra cards which is not related to day 2 lesson...
thanks
I promise to donate upon getting certified. What a great course, thank you Jeremy!
Wow, thank you so much :)
Jermey,
You should know that NOBODY can explain like you. I explain a lot .. but I am never close to you when it comes to clear complete presentation of information. Just WOW!!!!!!
Thank you Ali :)
Very helpful . I'm impressed that when you explain it everything becomes easy to understand. So excited to keep watching your videos
Great effort. Thanks so much for this special course.
Day 2 was awesome! Thank you!
I love the series so far. I am on day 13 and am looking forward to completing this course. Commenting this on every video for the algorithm.
I am lucky that I found this channel as I am preparing for my CCNA.
Thank you so much Jeremy for your assistance.
Good luck! :)
On my day 2 and loving these videos! you are a very good teacher sir.
Thank you!
Thank you for creating this content.
im just new with ccna 200-301 and im really happy with jeremy ccna course its amazing btw im from saudi arabia please keep going
I love your videos, Jeremy. I'm commenting because I had trouble remembering cable pin placement while I was studying for the CCNA. The following rhyme helped me remember: Transmit for hub and switch -- use three and six.
Thanks William! That's a good way to remember it.
The lectures videos of yours are really awesome. This gives be a good hope to take the exam and prepare well for the Certification. I'm currently looking for an entry level networking job as I do not have any previous work experience.
Hopefully I get a decent job upon the completion of this certification.

We're the same. Let's keep the faith and pretty sure Jeremy's video will surely our way to pass the exam
Hi Jeremy, your training videos are high quality and top notch. I was thinking subscribing to one of the websites as I am trying to prepare for my CCNA, but I have realized your training is more than enough man, please keep the good work. What book are you suggesting as a reference material for the CCNA exam.
Thank you so much! I recommend Cisco press' CCNA books by Wendell Odom. Todd Lammle's books are popular too, but I haven't read them so I can't recommend them myself.
I love your teaching style, very to the point but also very informative. Amazing
I remember when we used transparent RJ-45 mods when we made our own cables in the 1990's and we had to check the color code of the pins on each side comparing the modular connectors side by side for both ends of the cable to verify that it was straight-through or a crossover cables. This video brings back memories!
Good job! 👍
I really love your videos ! Thank you so much, you are the best! Saludos desde Costa Rica!
Great video. Awesome. Done with the first one. I recommend to take screenshots as short note and review the screen shots some time
Thank you! Yes that's a good idea.
Going through these videos, you make it easy to digest and actually learn this material! Big thanks!!!
This is how networking should be explained. Many thanks Jeremy!
Thanks for your comment Adel, I'm glad you like it!
What a great explanation. Much appreciated.
Not only much appreciated but also much RESPECT!
Day 2 completed!
Nice, keep going!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge about CCNA.
I'm excited to continue learning with you.
Best regards from Brazil!
I finally feel that song lyrics '' Said I loved you but I lied cause this is more than love I feel inside '' you made it so clear. I had read an article about this but man you're good.
Knocking out day 2 while still day 1, I have to go slow though because I am taking notes on everything said.
First of all, love the material. Thanks for putting this out there.
Also, one of the flash cards is wrong I believe. It asks which whether single-mode or multimode is cheaper and has the answer as single-mode. Just a head's up.
Thanks so much for pointing that out, I've fixed it and updated the link. I'll be sure to double check the cards from now on!
excuse me.. I can't get those flashcards...can u send the link pls
This is fascinating. Really excited to continue this course. You explain it perfectly to understand. Thanks very much!
Bless your heart! This is wonderful content. You are changing lives with this stuff thanks
Are you planning on completing the course by Feb 2020? I forgot if you mentioned a release schedule for videos. Thanks again for this course, so well put together!
Thank you! I wish I could finish it before the release of the new exam, but it's probably going to take a little longer. Can't say any hard dates yet!
I am ok if I take it in by March 28th, 2020, i think this is a nice timeline. I can study/prepare non-stop for 2 1/2 months starting in January. 8 - 10 hours per week
oh sorry Jan - Apr, anywhere around there...1.5 months to cover each major skill level, labs, activities, quizes, simulators, practise tests
On my 2nd day and it's kind of difficult but I won't give up...
There is a lot of information to remember, take it slowly!
did u give up
@@maiafrangoudis8065 Wow 3 years flew by already. But yea unfortunately I quit on my 2nd month of studying...
You are the best teacher, I do not understand very well English but can understand almost everything you learn. Thank you very much. You are amazing.
I am from india (Kerala) i watched this channel recently everything was helpful for me . Literally ccna becomes more simpler and thanks for your efforts, Absolutely you are one of a kind 😎😎
@Jeremy’s IT Lab
I’m scheduling my CCNA exam for mid-September, and I’d like your opinion on the Cisco official study guides (v1 & v2) as a complimentary resource to this course. More specifically, do I need them; furthermore, are these the best resources as a reference relative to available alternatives. Money isn’t the issue, but if it’s a waste, or a less than optimal resource I’d prefer not to buy them. Lastly, this course is incredible, and a simple thank you quite simply isn’t a sufficient display of gratitude so I’ve decided if I pass the CCNA my company reimburses me for the exam, and I would like to donate that to you for investing the incomprehensible amount of time required to make this playlist.
Yeah I highly recommend them! I recommend three things: video course, books, and practice exams.
And thanks for your kind words :)
Does this course cover the new certification track for CCNA that will be in effect right now
The way you explain is GOLD
I don't have a word to describe these classes....just wow...😍😍🥰 Sir, your teaching style is amazing...Your sound is super clear and understanding even though English subtitles are really helpful to catch up notes...👍
