My Svetlana is a slower grower than many of my other hoyas, but I still got 4-5 new, gorgeous leaves over the late spring/summer/fall while it’s hot and humid. That’s really the key for this one. I have mine in coco chips and perlite and used Osmocote, a 90 day long lasting granular fertilizer. I live in central FL, where hoyas are generally like pigs in mud for much of the year. 💚 It’s honestly in my top 10 😊
I love watching your videos. You’re absolutely adorable and very comedic!! Love all of your beautiful Hoya as well. Keep up the good work. Watching from Plant City, FL USA 🥰🥰
Miro! I learn so much from you! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Even if they are just theories. I promise not to share them on Facebook, haha!
As always beautiful plants. I’m really enjoying your Serpens and Tengchongensis sitting in their new home next to you while filming! ❤ You do really great work. I appreciate all your experience with Hoya since I now have 245 plus I just got 4 new philodendrons. Thanks again! A fellow Hoya lover! 😊
I spray all Hoya with Straight Rubbing Alcohol every 2 weeks and No mealies in the greenhouse in years!! And it kills aphids, spider mites and fungus gnats too. Love the video!!
With regards to your mealybug, I'm not sure what you can get a hold of in your country but, if you take 1/4th of a teaspoon of 70% water soluble Imidacloprid to one gallon of water in your next watering all the mealybug will go away in about 2 weeks. You may still have the dead white fluff, but not on new growth. It may cause flowers to drop.
I am definitely doing a RESET!!! But I will wait till spring, because I'm frustrated with some plants that haven't decided if they are going dormant or NOT. I will see about mid spring.
@BasiePlants I found more yesterday. They are from a different garden center to the one I normally go too. I have not been back. Its been over a year. I need to be more proactive I'm sure
If we are thinking of the same plants, then yes, to my knowledge they are the same. Hoya PG-04 from Zambales, sometimes sp Zambales; note that Zambales is a place, so it is not Hoya zambales :)
@@BasiePlants Thank you. I have them both and was thinking of planting them in the same pot. Thank you for sharing your videos, I am learning a lot from watching!! :)
Do you think it was worth the purchase?? I am asking because I just bought one but am thinking of returning It lol…. It seems like it will take up too much room and I will probably have to put it on a pole…. I would rather return it and buy a Hoya lmao. Idk wth i was thinking…
@@jessicapetrin1655 I think it is! In my opinion, it grows quite compact (for a large Philodendron) and the coloration of the leaves is beautiful. It is one of the few I decided to keep :) I also grew from a small plug I purchased 2 years ago so perhaps I am attached and not so objective 😅

I have been dealing with mealy bugs too! So far I'm doing okay keeping ahead of them! But.. ugh! Really? Why? Lol ❤
Haha. You never fail to make me smile. May rhis year be better than last.
I just absolutely love your videos. Makes me so happy while I’m setting in central Illinois in negative temperatures! Gives me hope of warmer days ❤
33:25 oooooo learning more about all the species you list will be soooo so fun 💚💚💚 yes please!!!
Hoya Hoya Hoya 🙌
Im glad you're back! Missed your videos so I've been binge watching your old videos.
Me too!

Thank you for showing the good the bad and the ugly. But I’ve never seen an ugly hoya
That Hoya Pandurata Vietnam with all the blooms is so beautiful! Happy New Year to you, Niro 😊❤

So relaxing....Thank you for your video!
Thank you for the long video Miro ♥️
Loving your unplanned unscripted videos!
We all love the chaos here. :D

Hi Miro!! I have a long list of plant chores too!! earlier you talked about buffering coco coir... what is that??
I have taken that risk and its a 50/50! but it will work!!
Happy New Year. Great video, thank you. Your collection is AMAZING 🤩😍
Happy New Year ❤️🌹😊
Love All your videos 🙌🏻💐
Happy New Year! :)
i have the rintzii borneo and knock knock for now doing well. i have it in lechuza.
I binned my nice full carnosa pink princess as it was full of mealy bugs. It was one of my 1st hoya. 😢
mealybugs seem so easy to get rid of them. They are stubbon little (add own swear as required).
Have fun.
They are easy to kill but not easy to keep off. They keep coming back. So overall, I'd say not easy to get rid off at all.

Try garlic spray its all natural
Hey!
If you are selling, I want that mathilde splash ✌️😁😍😍
Hi hoya friends!! I have a question. Is Hoya zambales and mini kentiana the same thing?

So sorry about those nasty bugs. Really a shame.
I realize I need a new one of pandurata...
Haha :D You are welcome. 😂
@@BasiePlants -mumble mumble- 😆
“I’m basically Portuguese” 😂😂😂
And to find out that the word doesn't even come from Portuguese. Heartbreak xD
What is the dark plant to your right please?
Philodendron atabapoense :)

Ty my dear
@@BasiePlants I just bought one also but it’s very small. I’m nervous and excited but I love yours Miro!
Cappuccino is hot chocolate flavored with coffee. The only way I'll drink coffee.
I usually drink my coffee without anything - no milk, no sugar :D Just coffee and water.
No that's a Mocaccino!
A cappuccino is just an espresso with milk and milk foam on top.
