@@RedMichicompanies yep just updated mine and my internal speakers do not work.... say their disconnected even though I cannot connect them cause their inside the monitor....

No audio devices installed, but it's a fully functional Samsung Galaxy book 12 Intel core. Went to bios but there are no sound options there either. Uefi
When i click sound there is nothiny there evrryyhing is missing IT says no audio devices installed
When i try to test the sound in the control panel it shows up: failed to play test tone

Go to sound-->speakers-->right click speak properties-->advanced then select various frequencies and try test tone

Here is, in my opinion, the best solution for no sound after win 10 upgrade:
Provided the hardware configuration in Device Manager is working properly with no exclamation mark, then execute this steps in sequence, meaning progressively one after the other: Open Control Panel>Sound>Speakers=Enabled ( must have a visible tick inside the green dot)>Properties>Advanced>Exclusive mode> Disable/Untick the option=Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device>Select the best settings on the "default format" option (24 bit 192000 Hz studio quality) on the list, if supported by your hardware> Ok all open windows to come out of it and close Cotrol Panel. I have just done it as a sudden light bulb went on in my mind and it worked straight away. As a remark, I have to enphasise that uninstalling and then reinstalling the hardware it does not always work if the reference is showing the device is working properly with no conflicts in the "resources".

My audio works but the thing is, it’s a flat audio. Meaning that it has no EQ or bass. And am using studio headphones while playing call of duty but the audio makes it hard to play. Does anyone have/had the same issue?

My issue: After installing an nvdia gtx 1060 3g card I cannot get sound to come through my speakers while simultaneously streaming online content. Sound works in all other apps and when in the playback tab I can see the sound bar is active while video is streaming, but no sound is coming through the speakers.
I have tried all of the suggestions more than once and still no web sound. Any additional suggestions?

This update causes audio crackle and pop sound on some games and videos. On almost all Realtek sound.
My audio works, what happened here is that Windows is not recognizing that my headset is plugged. So the sound is only playing from my Monitor speakers. And yes my headset is working. It was working perfectly yesterday, it only stopped working today after I updated the windows

No joke, all I did was open this video after 2 hours of a headache... I didn't even touch anything after that, just swapped back to the soundbar... Random Windows Update hit at 3AM (Looks to be the 20H2) and nuked this soundbar for hours. Strange.
alright, but what if test tone failed to play, do I still follow the same thing?

win 10 pr date is horrible, strange i get so many porblems first now when they want me over to win 11. it feels very rare that last update. and all this is very basic.
I got bigger problems. WIN 10 2022. Win 10 had no bugs almost for me for many years, feels like a win 11 try force someone to go there

nothing worked
It worked for me, after another f*&^*& Windows update got no sound, the disable / enable solution fixed straight away
disabling the driver and using update on it worked for me.
