I am so thrilled that you got to visit Campco. My husband and I have been there, and saw several models, including the "loft" home. The owner is innovative, creative, and just a really nice guy. :) This is a very well produced video. I'm glad the world gets to see his work through your videos. Safe travels!
Love this one! (And the horses cracked me up...coming up and greeting you the way dogs would.) Someone with mobility issues could easily live in one like this....and there are little "lift' things (kinda like open elevators) that could be put in, if needed, for access to the hammock or anything on an upper level, and they don't take up much space. The pricing and room you get in these is amazing. Soooo appreciate you doing these. Am learning tons!
This is so cute. I love the interior. It brought out a unique kind of character. I live in South Africa and looking at designing my own little tiny home which I will live in full time with probably 2 x 40 ft High cubed containers
What a cool structure. I agree that going to stay at places like these is the best way to figure out what home best fits your needs. Thanks for another great video!
Great video, great home. Julio Garcia designed an almost identical layout in Savannah Georgia. Kirsten Dirksen made a youtube video of his shipping container home. Such a great design.
I like this! While I like the concept of a tiny house, on the practical side, I would choose to build a small house. I could see myself living in something like this
I really like this idea of using a shipping container that would otherwise be a eyesore rusting somewhere. I am married, 62 and we are both disabled but I would love to give up our stick built home to live in a container dwelling FULL time.
Kurt Goolsby - I don't often run into someone else that is disabled. What kind of disability do you have? I have severe spinal stenosis. And a real problem with knees. Not the ACL but I think it was the MCL they said before in my left knee but now it is in my right knee as well. Both the stenosis, which I am pretty sure I have in my neck as well, and my knees were made much worse by Chemotherapy for Breast Cancer. I had IV chemo for 6 months every 2 weeks with really strong doses - I lived farther away and was in a research program I volunteered to do if it could help save someone. Then I had 5 weeks a radiation 5 days a week followed by another 6 1/2 or so oral Chemo. The first two years was the standard drug and then next 4 or more was a new break thru drug in oral chemo that OSU did the research and study on it which was where I went for chemo (The James Cancer Center at OSU). And my teeth have started dissolving at the come line so I have a top plate as of last year and have to get my impression for the bottom and the last 10 teeth pulled a couple at a time the I will.have my bottom plate. The best part of that is that I have always had very ugly teeth and now they will be straight.
Kurt Goolsby I would hope they would already be rust proofed in and out. I was referring to the fact that finally someone came up with a good use rather than seeing them sit around rusted.
With all of the extraordinary styles of houses you have visited, did you stumble upon one that become your favored - one that you could recollect residing in?
Sounds very nice he's very polite looks like doesn't want to take advantage of people Great guy Beautiful house! What's the name of his company please???
Nice. But not movable. Need to take better care of yr mules. They are filthy. Need to be clean and hv a place out of the weather and hv shade. Also, he is definitely in it for the money.
That man has a certain kindness and wisdom. Good for him and his family.

Just gorgeous - love all the details. Feels very spacious - deck is a nice addition. Nice greeting from the horses!
Wasn't it? LOL! Yes. The horses were very welcoming.

Yes! That's exactly what we are trying to emphasize. Thank you.
I've been studying constructing shiping container houses and discovered a great website at Magic Container Plans (google it if you are interested)

Hi lovely home and gr8 footage .

That's certainly one of the best I have seen. I'd love to have one with slight modifications.

What would the world be like if the 1st person ever to try a hammock admitted to his friend the inventor just how much he hated the experience?
Hmmm, thought provoking.
Clicking on the campco-link gets you to a "404" ..!?
Are they out of business?
Nice.
But not movable.

Cool house. Lousy editing.
Dude!!! Brush those animals. Sad shape for those beasts to be in.
Dude!!! It rains. They live outside not in a container.
forget about it. This man stop doing these types of homes.
