When I used to play the game and reached the Final stage and saw Soldiers helping me out, It was such a wonderful sight for me. It was like all Humanity came together to defeat the Space Aliens. Awesome Speedrun

The creators went hard on detail for all metal slug games. For being such a simple game, it adds to the experience. In my opinion, they are all classics.
Believe it or not, my wife and I played this game for the very first time today thanks to the gaming stick I just got lol. LOVE IT! So much destruction, so much chaos and the Co-op is awesome. The bosses, though, they are freaking tough lol!
ahaha, so many funny references in this game. the nazi forces supposedly having alien craft and weaponry. the aliens ingame looking like the war of the worlds incarnation. and the end with the plane flying into the mothership straight out of independence day. great game, great playthrough :)

Whoa talk about Street fighter. I never knew "hadouken prisoners" could pull a familiar move at 2:07. Man, this game brings back a LOT of memories. I used to spend as much as $5 playing MS2 2 players, and I could have used that money to glutton myself for a week in my country.

It's cool, reading the description that you finished this with a keyboard. It's a common misconception that playing such games with keyboard is horrible. The keyboard is so precise as soon as you place your fingers above your preferred buttons. In fact, sometimes in many console games, pressing the dpad forward slightly off can make you accidentally press UP, that's what I hate. It's just your big thumb on a dpad. Also on analog, it's very easy to not make the movement you intended. While on keybaord with WASD or arrows, there is no way I press D and accidentally press W.

At 9:05 if you leave the last soldier with shield alone and drive the plane to the air, then drag the scene to the right, which makes the soldier like "just" out of the screen, then you can hit the shield-out-of-screen with the plane tail to get a large amount of points.
Missed secrets 15:00 - the suit case on the upper left of the screen at the start 23:48 - on the platform if you shoot up theres a POW that gives you bombs 28:27 - 2 pows were missed On the first lower platform if you shoot up a pow falls and gives you points, on the right side of the platform if you shoot or throw a grenade a pow pops up and gives your bombs 29:10 - the fuse box right bellow the switch is a tricky one, you gotta move a few inches to the right first but dont make the box dissappear After moving a little bit go back to the box and shoot at it upwards or throw 1 grenade and a pow will appear to drop points
