I broke mine yesterday because I wanted to give him the vintage, squatting pose. In this day and age, toys shouldn’t be this fragile. We never had to boil our toys in the 80’s. @He-Bro: It’s cool that you used my pic for the title 😂

@@HeBroTV Lol! My Rub-Ble figure is already on its way back to Mattel. They said they had a replacement Rokkon, and hopefully they still do when it gets there. Otherwise, I’ll put my refund towards another from EBay.
Even though this might seem like a small fix it really is invaluable information to have if you end up with a broken joint. Thanks for looking out and explaining to everyone how to deal with it. 👍

I hot water soak all my new figures before flexing knee and elbow joints. It is a simple enough process and works perfectly. No need to risk forcing a break.

Not super glue, clear acrylic sealant. The kind you get in little dropper bottles for model paint. Someone should 3D print these replacement joint pegs!
Hey Todd...if you ever 'have one of those moments' and want to get rid of some figures, Origins figures at least, let me know. We kinda got every 2nd wave in South Africa...so I'm desperately looking to fill some of those gaps. I'll happily pay you for your old stuff and shipping. In particular I'm looking for: Wave 2, Orko and Trapjaw, Wave 5 Faker, Wave 7 Sorceress, Wave 10 Whiplash, Wave 11 Kobra Khan...and any Roboto! Do you know if I can get replacement parts somewhere? It's too expensive for me to buy another figure to fix this one. On the other hand, I wouldn't like to break one figure to fix another one.

@He-Bro will this work with Scare Glows plastic? My knee joint snapped but its quite snug in the thigh section

@@HeBroTV was just curious as it feels like SG plastic is harder. Will have to try find an Adam as a donor. Origins are not readily available here

My Sy Klone left knee broke, I contacted them, they sent a FedEx shipping label to return it, saying they'll replace it if they have one available but if not they'll refund me.. but now I'm kinda wondering if Evil Lynn's knee peg is the same size, since it's also yellow
I guessing it's smaller, but I may have to check.

The sad part is, there is absolutely no reason to bend Rokkon's knees. Most of us are just going to leave him on the shelf standing there. And bending the knee is not necessary for the transformation. So everybody who broke their figure broke it for no reason at all.
In this day & age, putting your figures in boiling water or under a hot air dryer should be an automatic thing you do before bending any joints. Whenever you get a new figure, heat it up & bend the joint back & forth really fast over & over again until it loosens up. That should be a common law of modern action figures. "But I shouldn't have to!" These days you *NEED* to! Or else enjoy your broken figures.
