Your customs have always been impressive, but it is amazing how good the vintage head, torso, and waist looks with the origins legs and arms. Huge improvement. Anyone could be forgiven for thinking your custom was an official Mattel release. Such a cool custom.
Thank you so much
Man, I remember having that He-Man action figure as a kid in the late 80's.
Yes, cool figure, indeed.
Adding the o-ring is genius!
Thank you
Man you make me want to go find more original and origins. Great job
Glad to inspire
Got a lot from earliest editions ('82,'83 '84 etc). ..
Great job He-Bro, you're a genius !!! 🙂
Thanks

Maaan I still have the eighties' battle armor he man!!!
You know, original he man and Skeletor, I didn't get them, too late. So the battle armor he man and a combo Skeletor + panthor. ❣️ No battle cat for me ❣️😅my man at arms is looking good, and I did my customization of trap jaw when I was a kid 🤓
He has his elbow articulated 🤓🤓🤓♥️
Nice :), thanks for the story
Awesome bro
Thanks 🤗
Excellent! Great to see an in depth video, step by step on film! What do you recommend for sanding? Is there really a difference between a Dremel or any spinning handheld rotary tool?
No real difference, Dremel just known for quality.
Oh yes, thats Rather cleaver indeed sir ☺
Thank you
i want to see what the inside of both of those battle armor figs look like. I wonder if we can keep the shoulder articulation. even if we have to sacrifice the vintage fig. as well as the hips

Hey He-Bro! another amazing video... thank you! Question: have you thought about doing something similar with the new Origins Rattlor? I ask because I do not like too much the new Origins' style (same as Mekaneck) of enlarging the neck by replacing it with another larger neck. I propose making a custom design of an old vintage Rattlor's torso/head set, combined with the new Origins limbs. Could that be possible?
Those are some great ideas. It would be a lot of work to sand out the arms.
@@HeBroTV hey, indeed! I have my mekanek too, and I can't find his armor, I gave him Stinkor's orange one, I believe those accessories have to be somewhere, it's a long story. I think you do a great job, and my trap jaw, I also put him an eyepatch and I don't remember why 😅 and I never sanded the sawing of the elbow I articulated. 🤔 Since I was a kid, it took me a while, but I think it was smart what I did, I was 🤔hmm.. Like 10 years old, not that Young but I also built my own castle Grayskull,😅with the air conditioner box and paper mache 😅 it had the trapdoor and some things I put there, not the elevator tho.. And my trapdoor had a proper cell below. It was too cubic 😅 but that didn't matter, and it was just BIG I wasn't a Picasso 😅so that paper mache was 🤔😬actually, better IMHO than some Picasso's works I have seen 😝😅
I'm impressed my older masters still have their legs. That Rubber cord sucks, after all these years you could say it's OK.. 🤔 😬 Except Duncan (I think many Kids painted the mustache when the series started.. Mister Bro, it's just that I have all these old memories coming back like a stampede of bulls in mating season with no cows at hand 😅😬...
The door.. 🤔 I remember cutting its edge not straight. And I made a lock too. I don't remember where I got some pieces but it was really fun to build it oh yes I remember! The jaw door was like that because I also used foam to get more thickness at some parts of my box, like the skull, so it never would go past the vertical, not opening to the inside of the castle, that, and more boxes for the towers and I had basically three walls, and SOLID 🤘😎 PAPER MACHE RULES and it was so big... Lol, the masters were big dudes. Mine had 3 stories and it was modular. I included a TARDIS 😅 made of a couple of wine tetrapaks😅🤗 good happy times 🤝👋
Can you make a costum blackstar .....
Using your leftover part....
Blackstar cartoon have many similarities with MOTU
I like the idea of that, but I don't have the correct left over parts, you need the rock WWE figure, and a custom head.
Nice work. But I don´t like, that it can´t move like a origins figure.
You adjusted the origins legs and arms to the 80s torso and hip.
Is it not possible the other way around ? To adjust the 80s-torso to the origins-hip, -arms and -legs (?).
I try to explain.
Maybe it could work like this : cut out/off the arm-pegs from th 80´s torso and leave a hole. Then you remove the arm-sockets from the origins-torso and attatch or insert them to the 80s torso. The same with the hip. You would mess up the hip-spring-funktion but origins does not have it anyway.
You think it could work ?
Not enough room in the roso for the barrel and the shoulder pins. Mateele could have done it by making the ball sockets parts of the torso sculpt, but to retro fit it would be very tight. The legs, sure, just extra work.
It is the same way with Thunder Punnch He-Man's Origins sword. I had to 3d print my own to match the retro one.
Excellent job!!!!!
What was your issue with the Origins ThunderPunch? Aside from not-vac-metal “H”, no ring-caps, and the sword not staying in-sheath? The “crack” sound was ok, but no fist-swing/flying sword bum me out. Especially when Leech & Snout-Spot got real action features and are peg-rotting!
@@sideswipe1261 i just had an issue with the sword not being translucent. 🤣 I 3d printed my own in ABS resin in clear yellow. I am thinking about doing the shield too.🤔
Nice work, the vintage torso look soo much better! Do you have any advice for removing those stamped graphics from figures? I have a Masters of the WWE Universe figure I want to remove the graphics from for a custom but I'm not having great luck. Alcohol does nothing, magic eraser doesn't seem to work, and acetone works but also messes up the texture. Might make a good video.

@@HeBroTV thank you! I should have known you would have already covered it. 🤘
Have you heard anything about Battle armor Faker
I have not
What are you using to grind down the arms with and is it the same machine you're using to sand?
