I want to read Dr.stone so badly but I ain't caving in until that sweet sweet box set gets announced
Do you know if its coming out soon? Dr. Stone definitely needs more love in the manga department.
-food anime shots nice
Food in anime looks the best lol
good video broski i subbed 👍👍👍👍
Thank you man, I appreciate it 🙏
My problem is i cant save money..I AM ADDICTED TO COLLECTING MANGA WHENEVER I GET SOME SORTA POCKET MONEY...how to solve this...like i buy manga until i become broke...i have 27 volumes of manga in total now
27 Volumes is impressive nevertheless. Maybe you could try setting a budget specifically for your manga collection each month? That way, you can still indulge in your hobby without overspending.
@@richtaku I am a student fyi...I only get pocket money from a festival called vishu
So what should I do
@@supremedude3584 You only have two options. Save your money and reward yourself with a manga volume every once in a while; OR, if your old enough, get some sort of a job or start selling things that you don't want or need to get more money. If you get pocket money every month, then its just a matter of setting a budget and buying less, so you save more. It all comes down to YOU. There is no simple solution that I can give you unfortunately. Good luck. 👍
thanks
You're welcome!
I will never get into one piece since it's just SO long. lol. But I have been collecting just my favourite series such as cardcaptor sakura clear card. The other series I am interested in is Yona of the Dawn but.. even that has a lot of voumes already too. SO i hope for really long series, that it may have an omnibus or something in the future. Tsubasa chronicles has 28 volumes but they now have the omnibus editions out. So I just ordered the first omnibus of Tsubasa chronicles.
And my boyfriend gifted me Marmalade boy collection 1 which is just an omnibus edition!
The other thing I want to do is compare if Amazon does have volumes in stock to my local bookstore. Sometimes if Amazon doesn't have a vollume, then my local bookstore will!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! ✌ It's great to hear that you're enjoying collecting manga, even if you prefer shorter series like Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card. I have heard of Yona of the Dawn; I think it would be perfect if they published a omnibus version of that series, specially if they could fit like 3 volumes in 1 or something.
Omnibus editions can be a great solution for managing shelf space and cost, just like with Tsubasa Chronicles. It's wonderful that your boyfriend gifted you the Marmalade Boy collection! And comparing availability between Amazon and your local bookstore sounds like a smart strategy! Happy collecting! 😊
Absolutely. Shelf space is a thing especially when you live in a one bedroom apartment haha. I also don't mind ebooks either, but there is something so wonderful about having physical copies of manga you like! I will consider buying the ebooks of Yona of the Dawn if I still want to get into the series. Having 43 volumes of that seems a bit much.@@richtaku
I have a bad habit of collecting only first prints or in One Piece terms, the gold foil first prints. I love the old first print VIZ and Shonen Jump logo, and some are rare. But it's more expensive to collect.
Yeah I don't see a lot of manga anymore with the trademark SJ logo on the spine. My Death Note volumes are the oldest and they say "SJ Advanced" but the reprints in the box sets just say "SJ". Its interesting.
Well beck looks interesting
Beck is a cool anime / manga and highly recommend checking it out!

Thanks a lot!!
When joining a manga community, are there separate ones on series or genre of manga
Most of them I came across are more general communities. Like buy and sell manga groups. You may be able to find specific categories, I haven't tried it! Thanks for watching and hope it helped!!
My first Manga I collected was bakuman. Let me just say when I move I watch the package with These books inside like a hawk. I have the complete Serie from the first Edition and even when they are not worth much I would never trade them. I have also other books and complete series but everything started with these books.
Bakuman is awesome and I hope to get the complete box set soon. Did you collect the volumes individually before the box set came out? 😲
@@richtaku Yes, the box set has only been around since 2013 when the last volume came out. I've been collecting the individual books since 2009. I only found out about the box set years after it came out. I also think my silver books are generally nicer than the white ones. Furthermore, the box set is usually only available for the English market and I only got my books individually in German.
@@alicejungdesign Silver books? That sounds cool. Didn't know they had a different color. I don't blame you for watching those manga volumes like hawk and making sure they don't get damaged lol.
With todays economy? I think I'll stick to online downloads.
I totally get it! It is rough out there. Some diehard collectors still cant be stopped! 💪
Once I finish school and get a job I’m going to buy the manga I pirated.
@@Johnwasborn Good plan!
@@Johnwasborn that’s great! Because the mangakas actually work hard making the manga and it would be sad for them to have so many people read what they make but not pay. So that’s good!
