@@stonalisa3729 Not a clue. I mean, it was a Catholic school that only taught Sex Ed in 7th and 8th grade at the time and what I remember was basically "Sex is bad before marriage" without even going into what sex actually was, besides "laying with a man and a woman" or something biblical sounding.
I just remember all of the giggles and whispering that happened whenever someone admitted to an experience (always with someone of a similar age; never heard anyone 'bragging' about getting someone older, thankfully). I really just think, as @jablue said, that it was basically just basically exploring their bodies.
I mean, the sad truth of the matter is that puberty begins anywhere between 8/9-13/14 for girls/boys respectively, and that part of that means beginning to become aware of their bodies, and others. Is it something that we want to know? No, as adults we consider it disturbing because of how society has taught us, and they definitely shouldn't be having children at that age, but unless you want to be a helicopter parent, there's a good chance that at least some of them will experiment, even if you give them a good sex ed.

If anything would’ve escalated it could’ve been bad for him. They protected him the best they could. However his family should’ve had his back with Marie. Why do cheaters always try to get their betrayed spouses to help/teach them to be better people? Your partner is not your therapist.
They are terrified of confronting their own demons by themselves. They have a big issue with being alone in general. The most logical solution for someone who has a habit of cheating is to just be single and sleep around instead of putting their partner through emotional abuse.

The girl was a nymphomaniac. I don't know how common that is, but it's a genuine thing. The driving forces for immigration here were economical and since the majority of the population consists of natives there simply never was a melting pot or need to engage with the newcomers leading to these parallel worlds existing just streets away from eachother with tribal laws and rulers controlling many of the small minority enclaves and the state and police only getting involved if problems seep out of their boundaries. Honour murders, forced marriages, abduction back to the homeland of children adapting too much to the new country by their community's view have sadly become a "normality"
