- I get asked all the time how we get rid of all the quarters from the laundromats. It is not as crazy as many people think it is! We also had an unexpected visitor and cleaning issues again!.

So nice your banks dont make you bring paper rolled quarters in!
Most banks don’t want them rolled because they have to break them open and re roll them.
Yes, I never understood why they would want that.
@charlesmurphy1510 in Canada they want them rolled and your name on the outside. They don't re-count until they open into their till. If the roll is miscounted it goes into or out of your account. My mother handled the Chiurch offerings weekly for years. So they didn't do it with one or 2 rolls coming it, but large numbers. In 2024, some may have electric counters, but i rarely go into a bank any more. The reason was labour time for the tellers.
@@joywebster2678 sounds like it would take up too much time. I don’t know of any banks without electric counters. Efficiency is the key.
Used to be that the bank would want your account number stamped on the roll - but I guess that posed a security risk if they didn't re-roll them.
Do banks give u bank bags for free?
Not sure, these came with my coin counter
Going to the bank using thier counter coin machine times it will stop. Cause from pushing a lot into the slot to fast.

I would make your kids look for silver quarters before taking them to the bank.
So my sister went to the bank her husband is in to count coins and they refused to allow her to use the self coin machine because she didn’t have an account in the bank!
