At 4:15 to 4:22 he says if you want to you can 'grind your ass' doing world quests. OMG I'm dying, I love this guy!!
It's like in Rounders when Ed Norton tells John Tuturo, who refuses to signal/cheat/count cards, "Go ahead and grind it out on your leather ass!"

1. for the stormgarde warftont. it just has a "chance" to drop that 370 at the end? so just keep queuing up till it drops?
2. the world bosses are the bosses that you have to que up for right? in the open world? they also have a "chance" drop 370 gear?
3. there is no LFG for mythic? how do we do that? old school LFG? and get a group together?

Ever since they introduced artifact power into the game the grinding part feels really stale. Let me explain back in Legion when Nighthold was released you had to have a certain AP level to get into mythic raiding because of the overall gains it would give you. Which would make the fights ‘easier’. We had some people in the guild that reached this AP level fast, because they could play more than others. But lord and behold a few weeks later Blizzard made a catch up mechanic and increased everyone’s overall AP gain%. This resulted in half of the guild quitting because they felt like they had put in all of that time and effort for basically nothing. As now the other guildies who didn’t put in the same amount of time and effort now also had roughly the same AP level. Long story short after Legion I learned that grinding really hard the first couple of months doesn’t really matter to much because they will put everybody back on an even plain field in the next patch. The answer to the problem: Hit max level with your main and only do the things you really have to do. After that level up your alts ;)
Exactly. I couldn't agree with you more. I myself personally plan to lvl up all my 7 chars to 120 and do their war campaigns in the first 3 months. Then I will probably take some time off until we reach the middle of the expansion (around patch 8.2) At that point I'll return and enjoy the game, cause that way I won't have to suffer time gates and unpolished game mechanics and whatnot.
Yeah I think I'm gonna do the same.. I hate time gates, I just cut my sub in legion and came back in 7.3 when we had flying, time-gating was done, and we had a slightly better legendary system.. It was a much better experience overall and I'm glad I did it, I will probably repeat this in BFA, seeing how Blizz seems to be doing the same things this time around as well.
so grind the same thing just like AP, makes sense.... nothing like having a bunch of shit alts ....
i usually focus on the stuff that will carry over for the duration of the expansion. finishing every quest available in every zone, finding all the loot chests, maxxing out professions, etc. after that i usually start doing dungeons and wait for a few weeks until i start raiding so the wait times are shorter. overall you just have to remember this is a game and its meant to be played for fun. don't take WoW too seriously because whether you like it or not...theres a neverending amount of things you can do.

i can almost guarantee that world bosses wont be available at launch since that was the case for legion and wod, would be very silly if that was changed since that gear would completely eclipse anything else you could get preraid.
@Selwen, if you go super hard, is it possible to get the checklist done inside 3-4 days, excluding stuff needing doing daily,

Most likely yea, if you know what you doing and have a group of friends/guildies with you, need a lot of free time though :D
Google "Medivh BFA lexicon" and use it to reach your goals. Its a resource to end all resources.
Came to recommend that Lexicon aswell. Its a super tryhard spreadsheet with a lot of daily/weekly goals for you to read up on.

The name of the reputation "zandalari empire" makes my eye twitch... Why not just zandalar?
Zandalar is the continent's name and there is more than one faction living on it (Fox people and Blood Trolls lives on it too if I"m not mistaken) so they can't really make it Zandalar or it will mean that all factions on Zandalar are one united faction and not several.
What UI do you use, not just default?
My beta videos are all using default UI, but ill be covering my UI from live in a video next week. :)
Cool video but I seriously feel like sighing every time I see stuff on how to level as quick as possible or what to do to optimize end-game farming/gearing and other video like that... Not that those are bad or anything I even enjoy them to some extent but only once I took my time to enjoy the leveling process and exploration of the new expansion. Having those out even before the X-pack is even out on live saddens me a little as it feels like people are only focusing on the destination and no longer seem to even care about the road leading to it...
Still great video keep a the good work and I'll come back to it once I actually reached end-game.
Thats funny, I feel the same way, that's why I went into the beta, cleared the lvling, gathered some gear as quickly as possible to make a video for you guys but in fact when live hits, im gonna enjoy my ride and not rush it. As it was in the Legion the lvling process is pretty damn fun and so is the story and exploration of the zones. :)
leveling hasn't changed in 14 years & nothing is new in BFA so people do want to get past leveling to play end game..
I'll rush on the character that I plan on doing the majority of endgame pve/pvp content on in the beginning of the xpac, that way, I can get my professions up, get ready for mythic+ and raiding etc.. I will take my time when leveling the rest of my chars through the content, but not when rushing up my main for the progression/profession edge. After I've seen all the content, I'll go back to rushing characters through just to get it over with because I'll have played through the content a few times already at that point.
To me, that's what alts are for, I've played through nearly every horde quest the game has to offer, purely because I do it while leveling alts (which is also why I have a hard time leveling new characters nowadays, there's no quick option anymore, I have taken the slow route many times in the past, enough that I already know most of the quests like the back of my hand, it's a good thing I have nearly every class leveled to max already... Those last few will likely never happen unless I feel like taking a nostalgia trip back to the eastern kingdoms/outland or something, but that'll only take me to level 70.).
Videos like this are mainly for raiders. We need to lvl as fast as possible and be geared as fast as possible to do better in the first raid a week after launch.
