Hi, really enjoy your vids. You got a lot of content packed into the "how and where to get AP section". It felt really fast and quick and more like a "I have to get the info out there". I know you depend on giving us information quick but maybe consider to take a bit more time. I would prefer a 15min version which is a bit less "hectic" more. Keep on the good work :)

Sooooo I just started a ret pally and I just used the 110 boost. Did a quest where I got to choose 1 relic and I chose crest of the grand army but I can’t equip it . Is it the wrong relic or what I’m confused lol

At that time I also used a lot of Ask.MrRobot, but unfortunately it was not very good with Legion anymore. Then I used Raidbot. What is your experience, can you use MrRobot with BFA without hesitation?
DO you know how to check how much ap to get my heart of Azeroth to the next level as im currently at 29 and i want to see how many bars/ap i need get to 30 ?

I'm not sure where you got your numbers for the graphics but they're very wrong. Currently on live level 16 requires 10400 AP, not 6790.

Isn't farming AP kinda pointless since we already know Blizzard is going to introduce catch-up mechanics later on, just like in Legion? Just take whatever AP is easy to get or through activities that you already enjoy.
njdss4 everything you say is true. Doing it to have fun is better then to mindlessly farm it. Reason people farm it now though is so that they will have a as high ilvl neck as possible when uldir / mythic+ / PvP season is released :) and they won't increase the speed you get ap before those things are released if they did then we'll there is no reason to farm it now at all.
Not exactly. Yes there will be catchup mechanics, but unlike legion it's working the opposite way. Instead of making all AP you earn increase by a multiplier, the traits will just cost less instead. This makes it so that you don't feel like you should wait until tomorrow to do a thing because it will give more AP. Now you should just do it anyway to get the AP now and it will increase in value as opposed to not changing at all.

Yeah I'm not falling for that again. I 'quit' a couple of months ago. Won't be back until BfA is discounted and those catch-up mechanics are in. The whole AP thing to me screams 'endless and pointless', so I don't even know if I'd want to come back anyway.
at 5:40 he already explains how catchup mechanics work, as I understood the XP requirements will decrease 30% every X intervall of time? Well sounds good for me and fair for all :)
I boosted a character and it didn't auto set me on the quest to unlock the essence slots so im clueless how to do it.
anyone know about a addon that helps with remebering daily/weekly chechlist like the ones Bellular suggests in the video?
Tidespinner Amice (iLvl 295) - unlocks all by level 12
but
Sandspinner Mantle (iLvl 310) - unlocks at 14/18/22 ... by the time I get to 22, that will heading to the discombobulator.
Seems a bit odd to have questing/WQ gear unlocking fully at such a high level. Is something off with their numbers ?

Then maybe the gear should scale the unlock points too.

310 is dungeon gear, dungeon gear all scales more or less the same.
Cyryl Chołodowski nah the 310 the guy mentioned was WQ gear, which scales from 285-340 depending on ilvl. However, no matter what ilvl you get it, the piece will always require AP levels 14, 18, and 22 because it scales to 340

Hey I have a question. Do the same perks stack? Like I have perk A on my head, and the same perk on my shoulders. Do I get the effects from both of them?
They do stack, I just tested it out. I got two of the Pyrdaz necklace traits and they did in fact stack into one mega-shield.

Having played a bit, hit 120 and being on the verge of getting into some dungeon crawling (really looking forward to that!), as well as WQs and still Questing in my 3rd home Zone for the story, what... irks me the most is that AZ-Gear is locked into your spec, as a frequent switcher between Tank and DPS, hell, I usually play all 3 Specs, I have to collect at least 2 Sets, which is annoying and I was happy as a Gnome in a Tinker's Wagon with Legions auto switching of Set Bonuses with switching the Spec.
Sure, you can Switch via the AZ Reforger, however, having a 3 day CD on the fee is laughable, as I usually switch several times a day. Questing? Go Arms, enlist for some Random Dungeon as Tank/DPS, guess what Role I'm going in? Right, Tanking, no problem with that, switch Spec and Gear, go in, win, get out, back to Arms and sign up for another dungeon and so on.
To sum it up: I'm not that much a Fan of the new gearing process, sure, when you're locked in one Spec you're right as rain, those who are willing to adapt their role to whats needed are shafted, thank you Blizzard.
Is farming azerite after 40levels very imortant?
Is there a way to farm Champions of Azeroth rep other than the contract that gives a whopping 10 rep? :P
My artifact power requirements do not match the chart. At level 14, I need about 7,700 to get to level 15.

I expect I'll get plenty of AP on all my alts as I spend the next two years going through my "collect everything from Island Expeditions" goal, considering the literal hundreds of things to collect from them, and I have no idea of their rarity..

with the ramp up respec charge for azerite gear it feels like blizzard wants you to choose one spec and stick to it...
I'm confused I thought Island Expeditions were supposed to be the go-to for Azerite ? The numbers shown here clearly show that doing WQ is the way to go and eventually a few expeditions here and there when bored but still.
If you do 7 normal Island Expeditions, which is what you need to complete the weekly, you'll get a total of 3750 AP per week, plus random events that can, per the video, award up to another 700 AP.
The world quests are still worth doing, but they can be exhausted - while Islands can be spammed infinitely.
I think Islands are the intent, but world quests are just as good unless you want to REALLY grind it out.
WQ are limited, islands are infinite
hm true - but have fun farming level like 50k ap with 700 ap each . you will have to do only 71 expeditions per level. so much fun .
wher do you pick up the weekly Q, im alliance btw and do you need to do anything before hand
TaliesinMyrddin it's faster to spam HC dungs. When you're done with the weekly there's no point in doing them.
the "how much for leveling up" chart is already wrong. i am at level 15, so from this table i should need 7k. ingame i need 9k+ since i already got 10%
I don't think you mentioned the Raid Finder, I was shocked to see it reward 350AP for each LFR Raid

nope..from what i know of it's intended this way from what ion said in a previous q&a if ya want the races do the grind

Allied races are just flavor, they will never reduce the requirements.
My friend said she did a quest that upped her iLevel on her HoA, is this true and if so where is this quest??? Only asking because she doesn't remember what quest it was.
Infloun getting friendly, honored, revered, and exalted with the champions of Azeroth all increase your artifact ilvl by 15. The quest is from magni he just imbues it with more power every rep tier you get with him.

I came here to learn how to start the quest to upgrade the heart of azeroth, and it wasn't on here. I hit 120 and went to silithus but he has no quest for me

What does it do? It reimplements glyphs, only now you have to farm your ass off and get random glyph effects on random stat items.
The starting price of reforging Azerite traits is 5 gold which is doubled for every reforge and halved every three days ;)

ap grind in BfA is ridiculously bad - i have atm 2 340 pieces that i literaly cannot use because the amount of ap needed for basic trait requires me so many more days of ap farm :/ and have to run with 2 325 ones :( really bad feeling about it.

Do traits on Azerite gear stack? While you level your neck increasing its power does it apply to Azerite gear level that sits in your backpack? Can you increase its ilvl then as well or you have to wear it? Like for example with pieces you use for different spec.
Wether a trait stacks depends entirely on the trait in question. No, azerite gear in your bag will have no effect.

Dont know if they changed it but atm im around 15 and need 10k for next level, not 5k. Also to get to lvl20-23 which is needed for heroic dungeon gear's final unclock, you need a cumulative 80k to 120k or so. Which is FUCKING INSANE.
This is worse than artifact power. And there's no increased gains like legion had.

Just got honoured with 7th legion, heroic ready and realised I hate my main Dk. I now want to heal a week of work ruined... Druid or Pally.
MistaKriz I am a huge fan of my Druid. All 4 roles in a single class (in case you get bored of healing), instant mount with travel form, good survivability, and a lot of mobility due to instant cast HoTs as Resto.

I would have thought Blizzard learned from its mistakes. So does that mean I have to wait 2 expansions before it feels like you're progressing normally through this expansion? Seems like that should be what we should do from here on out, seeing how all of the artifact weapons just got deleted. So I should just not buy the expansion until a few years from now when the next one releases and it gets rolled into my basic account...

After doing enough for the weekly, I will not be touching this content again. If I do I will not be doing heroic like I have been. I’m a prot Warrior and I’ve been paired with two other tanks or two healers more than I am queued with damage. In heroic it’s not worth spending the time to complete when I can do the WQ faster and earn more rep while doing it.
I hope they don’t end up like MoP scenarios, and who knows, once everyone is geared up these might become fun.
Really enjoy the Heart of Azeroth system as opposed to the Artifact Weapon system.
Hired a blacksmith to make me a Sword and Shield yesterday that I actually was going to use instead of for a transmog.
That would never happen for a max level in Legion.
I never gear up. Feels pointles instead That u can do the same shit on harder mode. ( Yeay) or show off how mutch u wasted ur time in raids i suppose. I just do transmog runs on raidfinder. XD can atleast bring it whit me over other expansions if i really want it.
